The pattern is beautiful, and the handle material looked like a joy to work with. The burger and fries looked pretty good as well. Lol. Have a blessed and safe week.
As a retired former metalworker, it is always a pleasure to watch someone produce an item of exquisite beauty with such skill, it is also refreshing to see the skill of hand forge welding is still alive and thriving over there in US.
I did welding for 15 years and retired at 35. Welding is not taught in schools anymore which is sad. So the people that can weld get paid more then most college grads.
A masterpiece as usual! You have got to get in to the show “forged in fire” and show these judges how it is done. They can learn a lesson or two by watching the master create a work of art.
Man, what an incredibly skilled craftsman you are. Thanks so much for sharing these well put together videos! I love the look of damascus, but I didn't even realise such amazing, deliberate patterns were possible.
I love how your shark logo looks like it's swimming through the feather pattern, like it's gone down the length of the blade and left the ripples of its passage etched in behind it.
Thanks, Owen, a few others have said the same thing. Funny thing though, the makers mark goes on before the blade is etched so the location was a bit of luck. 😜. Thanks for watching!
Honestly, i love the little "here's what the pattern looks like now" graphic thing you do in the top corner. It really helps me understand the process better. I'm more of a visual guy so just hearing dry data and theory doesn't help me much 🤣
I love that you showed the problems and talked about them. You explained everything so well. As someone who has forged some Damascus blades, I know how insanely hard what you did here is. Way out of my league! Love this video. Thank you for sharing. Subscribing now.

You really tell all that you are doing. I know it is years of practice and years of professional art. Because you are making art. Much love.
One of the few videos I truly enjoy. Added is the fact that you show your fails and how to work through it. Your a great teacher and a wonderful artisan. Thanks for sharing. Beautiful knife.
Thank you for forging as close to finish as you could (: not trying to take way from others but watching some cut in the shape and “cheat” their way through the design takes all the fun out of it. HAMMER WORK IS BETTER (: so thank you
