Learn to skate is AWESOME!!! It's a great program that really breaks things down into steps and like you said, a great way to meet other skaters and learn together (it's also really fun to teach).

Awesome video, i can definitly relate to the things said in this video from my first lessons. :D I have been skating for 3 winters now and I'm thinking about getting new skates, however I'm not sure what to get. Right now I'm looking at the Edea Concerto and Ice Fly. I'm pretty rough on my skates and like to make deep knee bends wich is why I need a bit of a stronger skate. Hopefully I'm not wrong but I saw you had also looked at Ice fly and have concerto.... Any advice?
It depends on what you want to do with your skating. Check our review videos on Edea Showgirl (it shows comparison with Ice Fly) and on Concerto. Showgirl and Concerto and pretty much the same thing, just Showgirl has a lower cut. I have wide feet so for me even the widest Ice Flys felt way too narrow and tight. Bottom line is if you don’t plan on jumping triples anytime soon, I don’t think Ice Flys will give you any benefit, honestly and they are quite a bit more expensive. They have a bit of tighter ankle fit than Concerto or Showgirl (showgirl has the loosest ankle out of the three). But if you haven’t skated in Edea before they will all initially feel loose at the ankle - it’s something to be ready for and get used to. With Edea you would rely on the tongue for support rather than the sides of the boot’s ankle part. Just something to keep in mind so it doesn’t shock you. :)
