It is one explodey little pup! You can really send creatures into orbit. xD
The mod is called "The Estranged" and it is made by "Pocky-raisin"

@@lolight2it appears the slug pup has a much lower limit then artificer. Artificer can control her explosions to gain a double jump and create explosive weaponry, while the slug pup has the same but without a capacitor, meaning that it takes much more food but the explosions are heavily more violent and powerful then artificer.
@Phoenix-kn8uk it's probably because it's only a pup and is inexperienced. I'm sure that if it were to mature, it would gain better control over its abilities while being able to exploit their lack of a capacitor to release those humongous blasts. This Slugcat would truly be an apex predator.
It’s probably like a baby snake. They can’t control their venom, slugpup can’t control its explosions

Imagine if they did a campaign with the other kid too. Maybe it joined the scavagers? Maybe it killed them all and escaped?
That might just be the mod author's goal after this one, who knows :)
@@lolight2 I plan to have another campaign that takes place between Monk and Rivulet, called the Voyager or something (All mobility, no power) that is the other slug as an adult. I want it to be so that when I'm done, people can use Jolly co-op without all defaulting to Artificer , but we'll get to that :D

heck, if she "ascended" she could become some an echo or something, perhaps Voyager can meet her for some super interesting dialog based on what you did in her campaign

Maybe for the time all slugcats had some amount of explosiveness? And it was just a diferent mix of kaboom genes that made Arit's pup become nuclear like that? Like how some people have blue eyes and some have brown, genetic variation.
@@BogChog thats a pretty good theory, like slugcats went through different phases up to saint, and thats why they have different abilities? maybe explosion was an extremely good trait to have earned and became dominant or sum
The father was oppenheimer, ig (or directly-related-to-whatever-the-most-powerful-slugcat-in-the-world-may-be/echocat's brother)
Combine it with rotund world and you're now ascending things faster than those sperms in the deep.
With fart sound effects /The fartificer mod this could turn into a a real hilarity. (im very mature as you can see 8) )

It's a shame the mod makes it a "pup" rather than an actual pup. It'd be more interesting to have less movement capabilities and hand storage in exchange for self defense with the explosions.

It's a small thing, but I like how getting Chieftain with this guy is actually pretty challenging, and something you need to spend a longer period of time working towards. It's a nice change of pace from just always being able to max myself out on rep in 2 cycles

Can you imagine that at the end of his estranged story mode he meets his mother in metropolis and tells her "me and my brother are still alive xdXDxdXDXDxDxdxdXd" and then arti realizes that she caused a genocide for nothing? It would be funny, definitely a good plot twist

This is Artificer's green pup. How it recieved such explosive ability, stronger than Artificer's explosions, must be because of the father or oppenheimer right?
Well, first we need to look at some fifferent slugcats. Let's start at Saint.
Saint has the ability to send creatures to permanent death if she wants to (karma 10). One day, I found a video (i think it was from either lolight2 or opsiian however i cant remember) which showcased an echo slugcat skin mod and I fantasised about That Echocat being Saint's mother. Echocat would be able to make, manage and delete ENTIRE CONSCIOUS SOULS (karma 11, dont ask). Now I headcanon that the father of Artificers children was Echocat's brother. Simply a guy that can create, manage and delete things on atomair niveau🇳🇱, and he even was responsible for the existence of the grapple worm species, as well as BUILDING LTTM AND 5P. His radioactive superpowers, combined with red oppenheimer mom, could create a blue ball of havoc, like the one shown in the video.

I was almost interested, but falls into the same category as almost all other scug mods, too damn op.
Why is the pup stronger than the mother? I might have given it a go if the explosion radius was the same size as arti, or less.
I do plan to add nerfs, the Slugpup has half the breath of a normal slugcat, and, after the update, scavs will not flee, the throwing skill is reduced, and the Estranged dies after every lizard bite :|
@@pocky-raisin that's awesome dude! I've yet to play any modded scugs yet, because I feel none meet the balance and simplistic nature of the main scugs.
