- BudGermination is a weird name but... What an amazing mod!
This one definitely deserves a 2nd part where I explore both endings...
While some of the dialogue feels slightly unpolished (It was machine translated) and some of the abilities feel like they can use some tlc, I think this mod is on the way to becoming one of the most amazing complete campaigns on the workshop! I 100% recommend you check it out!

What a unique slugcat, the theme is focused around basically being a slugcat and a pole plant in one. Easier to reach places and food, though this slugcat does seem to need alot of food to keep up, and things like blue fruit and bat fly’s don’t give much(kinda like hunter).
Thankfully if you manage to grab a lizard with the branch, you can instantly fill most of your belly! :P

P.S, those rooms you said that were custom made are actually not! They are actually in the Outer Expanse as an easter egg. The place is where Survivor and Monk fell down into Outskirts! So is the Facility Roots!

For the sake of science, I actually tried falling down into Western Intake right after the rain started in Outer Expanse to see if I could survive the flood and make it to the den
I, in fact, did not have enough time in my multiple experiments, Monk and Survivor ai more cracked than me

@@shadedway5277 My theory has always been that by some miracle, the scugs fell in during one rainfall, survived down there while being washed away by maybe catching breathes and hiding under the water otherwise, and then emerged out into Outskirts near the end of the following cycle, meaning the first rainfall of your campaign is actually not the one you see in the cutscene. The rainfall that washed them down was the night before the day you get the tutorial in.

Love how they start in the easter-egg spot - it's actually not custom and is a hidden OE spot where Monk and Surv's runs start. Also funny how the devs turned on rain for just that area - probably to justify the intros. Great mod overall, especially the intro cutscene!
Actually that area before spearmaster starts and the room in OE are in downpour as an easteregg to where survivor was.

the starting rooms in outer expanse (except the one you climb into with the modded ability) are in normal downpour, they are canonically where monk and survivor lived but they fell into the hole, and the facility roots are also in the normal game. fun fact: the room where spearmaster lears how to make spears (the one before the long pipe to outskirts) is half-flooded for all scugs that can go there
this creature in particular knocked the rot off the ''top of food chain''

The fact that worm grass is capable of eating all that so it means that the worm grass can also kill litteral gods (iterators) since leviathans can kill iterators
@@ultimategamer2240 correct, leviathans can kill Iterator PUPPETS, the rest of the superstructure would still be alive, and could probably make multiple distress signals to the local group for help.
The first two rooms are not custom made and are part of downpour and the facility roots aren’t custom ether and can be accessed by jumping down the pipe in the second room

all of the outer expanse rooms (except for the one you needed the rope for) are in the game. they are references to survivor and monk's opening cutscene where they fall down the hole and wash up. even the room before the 'hole' room is like that one scene where they are walking on the pipes (and it's also my favorite room in the game)
3:06 i know some people have already said it but that room is definitely not custom made. it's already in downpour.
This makes sense with saints timeline because this is why the rot is gone

@@Mroziukz Let me clarify: Rot that is not in five pebbles is subject to decaying over time. I assume they need some sort of function of five pebbles to be sustained.
It’s so cool to have a slugcat whose campaign uses the secret path from Outer Expanse to Outskirts! I like Solemn Ceremony’s character, too. I love how he dissed Unparalleled Innocence in the letter. And he seems to care very much about his slugcat.
I thought this was just an April fools mod, can’t wait to check it out tomorrow!

An interesting scug, plant and flesh merged into a cute yellow cat, and to clense corruption is cool too, furthermore, the facility roots and the first two oe rooms are not added by the mod, that room above, however, is.
This is such a unique and creative mod! Props to the modders who made it, the vines must’ve been difficult to code!

The drop where it leads to the western intake system is in downpour, ordinary downpour.
wow, its really cool what can be made by modders. even if its not the first plant-based slugcat, most were OCs and used for roleplay. now, its a mod.

uhh those rooms at the start you called custom are already in downpour. its quite litterally the survivor/monk opening cutsceen and you can return there and fall back into the facility grounds

okay so, I am just in the begginning of it (haven't watched the rest of the video to avoid too many spoilers), but this mod definitely needs a quality of life update. The tail is so annoying when trying to eat as it keeps on putting the food in the tail instead of eating it.
the first rooms aren't custom. They're the path Monk and Survivor took. They're in the DLC
that lil guy could have saved hunter from his rot, so sad its much later in the timeline.
He was probably too far gone anyway. I can't imagnie it would be as easy as removing the visible rot, his entire bloodstream is probably infected too.
I love how the entire comments section is just people screaming about how those rooms are already in downpour
The custom room in oe feels so empty(also no creatures,custom world state or other things. Rot cleaning is cool tho)

This mod is truly interesting. I played it for a bit but, in all honesty, if it wasn't for your video I probably would've just abandoned it thinking the features are broken, there's no tutorial and the description of the mod is extremely confusing for me, the first cycle is very short and it took more than 5 tries to successfully reach outskirts with enough food to enter a shelter last second. The mod can be fun and interesting, however, it's definitely a mod that you need to play more steathly and slow, at least in my own opinion, I faced almost every type of lizard on the outskirts and I died more than I did during my artificer campaing. Fast combat with this slugcat is very bad, and it's not even because they have slow mobility, it's because of the abilities getting on the way of combat, I've found myself multiple times accidentaly activating the rope that grabs items/steals health during combat and that resulted in every death I had during this mod.

@@TheCasualDragon101 very buggy and a lil unfair spawns in outskirts but anyway it's fine
@@nightfall3559 the outskirts spawns are a bit hectic yeah, the vine-tail does spazz out a bit when pulling stuff.
i play controller, my main complaint is pressing pick up and jump at the same time activates the ability but makes it harder to fight normally, I keep activating it by accident when trying to jump spear an enemy, and it ends up getting me killed since i cant move while you control the vine thing.
The constant shelter failures arent my favourite thing in the world either, but i can live with it as its meant to take place right before rivulet's campaign.
if this mod has everything why doesn't it have custom creatures huh ? sorry if that sounded a bit rude but I do love me some custom creatures.
