Wish me good luck Edit1: Miros Vulture is dead. I was surprised you can pin it to the wall. Edit2: I managed to kill DLL twice but couldn't reach the shelter. Garbage wastes are awful. There was no food for me rather that king vultures dll's and red lizard. Well next i'll be prepared

Yeah on the interactive map there are no dll spawns, and that's because those daddy long legs can't move, but are still daddy long legs. They count as part of the environment, but still count as killing a DLL.
I got the explosion resistance perk to fight the miros vulture but then for some reason it ended up having such bad aim with its explosions that I didn't even need it in the end and regretted selecting it... I could've picked an electric spear or gun or passages or something
I didn't even realize that Miros Vultures spawned in some of the open air Shaded areas for SM. Honestly wild, I was under the impression you had to go all the way to Moon for them, or worse, pray for one of them in the Underhang like happened to me
Imagine being a miros vulture, getting a laser signal from a snail, thinking you've got yourself a good meal. But as you descend down, you look at a small purple spiky tailed slug like thing with... a king vulture mask?!.. which is *the last thing you see*
Well the perks help GREATLY in this expedition. You feel really OP when you complete it but then once you leave it you realize you can't really get most of this done normally, both because you're weaker, and because generally you don't take time out of your cycle to slowly kill a red centipede or miros vulture when you can just... run from them. In the expedition you take the time because you have to. When you don't have to, you just don't try, because there's places you need to be.

I always make new spear pretty much any time i throw one, so I'm dying inside seeing someone constantly holding a normal spear instead of just using a fresh one for food...
Just unlocked explosion jump and Riv speed. Alr got a Spearmaster loadout planned w/ 8 perks: arti jump, blast resistance, Riv speed, back spear, slow time, (great for killing dropwigs) electric spear, karma flower and neuron glow. These good choices? (Note I don’t like using hand slots for lanterns and stuff.)
Extra Threat themes and Expedition Mode. Being able to do propelled jumps, being fast, etc, is from Expedition perks. The centipede is from the "Pursued" burden.
that was the centipede that we saw a couple times before op killed it. it's meant to follow you around and be rlly hard to kill, but spearmaster was moving so godamn fast it just couldn't keep up
You may have all the perks, but that means the drawbacks stay. This does seem easy but the food you have to eat is insane, not to mention the enemies you have to kill before sheltering and how they are slightly stronger than the regular counterpart. I’d probably just go with this for one run instead of using it alot.

If it were me, i'd just stick to doing this expedition once rather than doing it a lot, due to the difficulty."

Go to UD in Pebbles, there's a DLL in a specific room that you can just spear 200 times to kill because it doesn't move much.

Getting to the scav king Mask greztly helps for scav hunt, since all scavs will become friendly even when you murder them
