Good heavens, your videos are more useful and informative than almost ALL the other content presenter shows. Thank you for all your sharing and work.❣️❣️
Yay!! I stopped the video to say how much I needed your organized approach to a problem that has been overwhelming me. Recently I have been going through boxes of unfinished /unused backgrounds and embellishments that I have made and chucking things that no longer appeal to me but I still have so much that I hate the thought of starting anything new. Will rewatch this video and take note of the methods you used. Thank you so much!
This was really good! When you first started sorting through the backgrounds I was a bit skeptical because the designs aren’t exactly my style…or at least I thought they weren’t. I absolutely loved almost every card! The ones I didn’t love, I still have a great appreciation for. It’s a great reminder that when crafting to try new things and if something doesn’t seem quite right…keep going. I really admire your creativity.
Wow!!!Such brilliant ideas. I especially liked the fractured card as was wanting to buy a die for it. But seeing this fab video, I won’t need to! Thanks so much for all the different ways to use up scraps. Also I have one of those rulers that I use to pencil in straight lines, but never thought to use it to line up like on the stamp card, so thanks for another idea!! Xx
These are fabulous! Ty for sharing ways to use up all those beautiful pieces! Even just organizing the way you showed allows for creativity to flourish! 😍🤩😍
I use the poly bags I put my finished cards in, to store the card panel with the bits I’ve trimmed off, in case I want a little bit to add to the design. Off to sort my backgrounds while I watch this playlist. Thank you for so many good ideas, techniques and designs. ❤️
I've never thought of using vellum shadow for the sentiment! That's so creative, especially when you have such a bright background! That way, the background doesn't get lost behind opaque paper. So cool!
I don't know how you manage to come up with so many amazing ideas Natalie! I have done a couple of these ideas, but there are so many other ideas here that has given me so much inspiration. Great tip, using the die cut background to inlay all those tiny pieces in the Happy Birthday background card. I just love how you use metallic die cuts on some of the cards. They are usually my favourite ones too, so I must use metallic die cuts more! As ever, TFS and always inspiring. Have a good evening. Hazel x 👍
Wow, an embarrassment of riches! So many great ideas. They are all wonderful, and I especially love your first suggestion of organizing leftover backgrounds, bits and pieces. That makes them so much more accessible and less overwhelming.
Natalie, this was so very helpful!! You are so creative!! I have a lot of grounds just sitting around and now I have lots of ideas for them!! You are amazing!!
Wonderful ideas! Not the typical strip solution as we see in most “scrap” videos! They have there place but you provided some that I hadn’t seen before! TFS!
I never used the star dies but tonight I will. I have so many sticky papers just sitting there. I love it. I even have the earth like one. We might love the same store.
Those are some great ideas! Thank you for sharing all of these ideas! Your backgrounds were really beautiful too! I’m looking forward to watching more of your videos!
Thank you for the great ideals. I have some sisters in the Lord and they want me teach them . I am looking forward to it. We are in our 60, 70 and 80 age group. We are young at heart ❤️ 💙 💜
I think this is my most favourite video on how to turn backgrounds into cards. I love that it uses products that I already have in my stash or that I can easily substitute - and that you're not selling new products. So creative and really love the cards that you made. Thank you so much❤😊
Natalie, fantastic ideas for backgrounds and scraps! Yesterday I was just looking through my drawer of such, trying to figure out how to use them. I ended up putting them back in the drawer and walking out of my craft studio, thinking to myself, I figure out what to do with bits and pieces later. To my surprise sitting here this morning having coffee and your vid popped up on my news feed. Yaaaay for me to have your wonderful helpful ideas to use up all those backgrounds and scraps! I'm now happy to be one of your new subs! Beautiful cards Natalie, tfs!

I think the main tip I got from this video is using gold cardstock for the accent points!! They look so great! Time for me to do some die- cutting, I think. ❤ Fab video as always. Thanks.
😂👍 squirrel away backgrounds....that’s why my crafting room has plastic bags, plastic sorting trays, and several piles spread out on the tables! I love my crafting piles though as they give me a starting point for a card making session💙😉
