    Hi Toni, thanks for the video and crafting hacks! If you'd like to know how I made my anti-static bundle that doesn't shed any stray powder that you have to clean up later (this saves a ton of time)--- I take a new unused anti-static dryer sheet, fold it into a little bundle (about 2"x4") then I wrap it inside a used dryer sheet (so there's no residue on the sheet), then put a strip of washi tape around the whole thing to hold it closed. Simply rub it on your paper (and the paper underneath that you shake your excess embossing powder onto) so the powder slides right off back into your container, and boom, perfect embossing with no powder stuck to either paper, and no icky white powder that you have to try to erase later. It's clean, (even smells lovely) and much less time wasted erasing around little bits and potentially damaging your card or sentiments. Hope this helps!

      I forgot to note that if you take a dryer sheet out of the dryer before the sheet gets all those little fibers hanging off it, it's even better. Like, 2/3 of the way through your drying cycle. Let it dry completely before using for this hack. Have a great day!

      WOW!! This is brilliant!! 🤩❤️ I need to try this out. Thanks so much for sharing it. I’m all about saving time and being more efficient since I still have my corporate job. Would you be okay if I shared this tip and gave you credit for it in a future video? This is sooo easy but it never crossed my mind that dryer sheets are antistatic too. 😃 Have a lovely day!

    I can’t remember who I saw do it but if you put a strip of packing tape on your cardstock before securing, you end up with a beautiful shiny finish!

    More, more more like this! Having these hacks (tips and tricks) in one place is superb! It does not matter the length...the more in one video, the better. I would be willing to say that your subscribers will increase. Also, keep in mind that we can increase the speed of the video if we want to do so. I would love more videos on photographing finished cards, especially making videos of them to save or send to others. Your expertise is needed. Thanks for all your hard work. I have learned a lot and only watched several videos so far. Make as many playlists as you have time for. Also more organization videos, too.

      Aww you’re too kind! Thanks so much for the topic suggestions for future videos. I’ve noted them down as I’m always looking for ways to make content that’s useful. I learn so much from all my viewers all the time. You’re very correct about having control over the playback speed. I usually watch at 1.5x as well but never considered suggesting to my viewers they can do that as well. Thank you for that suggestion. Your support means more than you know. Thank you, again! 🙏🏽❤️💐

      Hi! It’s a cover plate from Reverse Confetti called the Big Flower but unfortunately while trying to create the list I found it’s no longer available from any of the major crafting stores. Sorry about that. :(

    COMMENT re: o.d. 22:15 "Glossifying" the "thankful" sentiment ... I realize that that word die IS V E R Y thin, but I think I'd try applying a strip of C L E A R PACKING TAPE to whatever color of cardstock I wanted to use and try die cutting through those layers. That would give the shine needed, though I suppose the Glossy Accents does give a more raised surface. Arthritis plays a part in my decisions these days.

    • @handmadecardsbytoni
      @handmadecardsbytoni  26 днів тому +1

      Yes, that word is really thin. I had to be pretty careful with the Glossy Accents. I did want to demo the packing tape but I just couldn’t remember where I’d seen it first - Jennifer’s channel or Gina K’s. That’s a really good one! I’ll have to look into it for my next “hacks” video. Thanks so much for your thoughts! Really appreciate you taking the time! 🙏🏽❤️

    COMMENT re: o.d. 2:25 ... where you apply green painter's tape to the NON-cutting side of the die ... May I suggest you use Press'N'Seal instead ? I don't know about the percentage of success stories o t h e r s have, but a n y t i m e I run tape such as the blue, the purple, or the green painters' tape through MY Sizzix BigShot the tape ALWAYS sticks so badly that it quite often peals off the top layer of my card surface. Even the "low tack" y e l l o w Frog tape will do so! The ONLY thing -- other than P'N'S -- I can get away with is the yellow "FORWARDING ADDRESS LABEL" tape the US Post Office uses on my mail when I go visiting for longer than a few days. Now T H A T stuff -- NEW! -- would be a delight for Crafters!!!

    • @handmadecardsbytoni
      @handmadecardsbytoni  26 днів тому +1

      Thanks so much for your great observations. It’s interesting to hear about the different experiences crafters have with different supplies. My washi tape is also a little unpredictable at times in my Gemini Jr. but it’s much better with my Spellbinders. However, I haven’t had any problem with painters tape in my Platinum 6 so far. I’m in Canada so I’m not familiar with the forwarding address label. I’ll look it up online and see if we have anything similar (we probably do) and I’ll give it a shot. Very interesting! I still have a few more hacks I could put together and if I can find the material to demo, I’ll definitely credit it to you. 😃
