I don’t have exact measurements, but, the piece I started with was approximately 23cm square. Slightly larger than a regular piece of printer paper squared off. It can be made from any size paper - as long as it is a square piece. I hope that helps!! 😳
These are the easiest instructions I've seen for the infinity card! Thank you! Also, just a little tip for double sided tape: use a stick pin or a pokey tool to remove the backing. Put the point under the backing in the middle, not the ends of the tape, and pull straight up. Works like a charm! I hope my directions are clear enough 😊
Wow! It’s 2024 now, but was looking for instructions for making an infinity card when I discovered your video. Thank you for putting it out there! Hello from Kansas City,Missouri, USA.
I like the idea of using maps. I have lots of them. One thing you can use with double sided tape is a glue stick. Rub the glue stick over the double sided tape and it gives you a little bit of wiggle room. I have seen several journal makers use this idea.and it works.
Use your maps as pages in your journal or make envelopes, tags and so much more. Once you start using them you can not stop finding more things to use them for.
I was sitting waiting for my Dr and just decided to go on UA-cam I came to you and U am so glad I did what a beautiful thing for your son my daughter would have loved it too she was non verbal Angelman Syndrome very quiet acheivers
Cute little infinity cards! I've done the big ones for years, but never thought of reducing the size! These are just too, too cute! Thanks for sharing! Hugs from Ireland.
Absolutely love the card. Thank you. I think you will have an easy time removing the sticky part of the tape if you have a straight pin nearby and just catch a corner of that sticky back with the pin tip. Easy to peel it off.
Thank you for the tip!! Lots of people have told me to try that after watching the video now & it’s an awesome tip!! I love how generous this whole community is. Thank you.
Ha, ha, this intrigued me and I tried it right away, your tutorial is great. It also worked and I am quite happy. Thank you so much for sharing this with us ❤️ Love from Germany from the Baltic coast 🌾🦭🐚 New subscriber 🥰
That is adorable! So compact with lots of journalling space. It so neatly fits into the pocket of your journal and is relatively flat. Mine are always bulging! Love trying out new ideas. Find journalling such a pleasure. Thanks so much for sharing. Enjoy exploring your creativity. 👍🇨🇮
@@jatzygirl3120 They're here such a short short time with us. Though I'm not sure 100 years would be long enough. Two of my four Bostons are there now too, one just in August, and I could cry all day, every day forever about them not being "here" with us every day. Of course they're here --but not here, here...you know...
Hi, this is my first time on your Chanel. I’ve just had a start, and decided I would also use map pages. I actually think this would be amazing to have the map pages glued to the inside, so that when you open it up you have four possible maps depending on how you fold it. I’m recovering from Covid twenty months ago, and sometimes I find junk journaling wonderful, but I can’t think straight enough to do all the steps, and worry I will get it all wrong. And then before long the day is done, and I didn’t do a thing. But this inspired me, so I kept looping your video to get the gist of it, and I’m now halfway through. Thank you. X
20 months ago - I’m so sorry to hear that it’s turned into that for you. So many people are not understanding that it doesn’t end for some & I really feel for those who it effects long-term. You’re amazing to have tried some creating. There is a lot to track when we make things. Love your idea of different maps - so cool. It’s great when we can find a way to keep creating - even if it’s just folding some paper or colouring in. It helps us. It warms my hear that this inspired you enough to have a go. Thank you so, so, so much for sharing!!! 😊 ❤️
@@jensartyinclinations thank you. For the first year UA-cam craft videos were my lifeline. Just watching someone else create gave me hope that one day I could also do that again. It sure beat learning about illness! I'm still deciding what to put on my infinity card, but it'll get done. Keep making the content! X
I love it! It pleases my creative brain and yet it is intricate looking enough to be fascinating for quite a long time! OOOOO, pretty and you got my attention now! 🙂
😊 i made this in mini form. I was so surprised when my steampunk woman changed sides i had put her on when i turned pages backwards.i felt so magic. I put her on right, then she on left. Lol great project. Take care be safe.
Definitely the easiest card I’ve seen…made the other ones on UA-cam. But for the children, this I’d far the best. So thank you ….off to make a few bases for the grandchildren…so they can decorate & I will be making some for a journal ❤
Ooh so excited I’ve come across you - fellow Aussie most def subscribed & love what you’re teaching. I’m on the west coast of our great southern land 👍
I just watched your video last night and had to recreate right away! Your instructions are so easy but it took my brain a little while to figure out the folding/unfolding. I used to make Neverending cards that were very labor intensive but the effect was amazing. This is so much easier!❤
Fabulous! Your video came up in my UA-cam recommendations and I'm so glad I watched. I've done 2 rectangular Infinity Cards...one was my prototype and the final version was my son's birthday card. I haven't made another one since, because they're so fiddly. Yours is the perfect combination of easy-to-make and fun to play with. Thanks!
Oh wonderful! I’d love to say it’s ‘mine’ - but of course the structure is an old one with loads of videos out there I’m sure. Thank you so much. I think this is a super simple structure that’s lots of fun. I’ll be making a few more myself because of how easy it is 😂
Jen, this is the coolest idea I’ve seen for something that flips like this! It’s so adorable with the flowers and note pages and to be able to see the map from underneath too. Brilliant!!! ✨
I love this papercraft, and your tutorial was very easy to understand! My mind is whirling around thinking about all the possibilities. You’re really fun to listen to-so no music for me! 😊
😂 it’s so hard to cover things up - I hear you 😂 maps look great, don’t they. There’s an artist who does lots of work that is all completely inspired by maps. Wish I could remember her name. She’s amazing! Thanks for stopping by & thrilled you liked some of the ideas here 😊
