43055 & 43047 at Wigan - 25th July 2024

Locomotive Services Limited Class 43s 43055 leading 43047 are seen arriving and departing Wigan North Western on the afternoon of Thursday 25th July 2024.
The 43s being part of the Blue Midland Pullman set were on a route learner/training run here from Carlisle to Crewe via Shap. Having ran north earlier in the day it was nice to catch this after an appointment.
The train was running nice and early here right behind the Blackpool to Liverpool train which had cleared the line. She wasn't booked to stop so it made a nice bonus giving us a longer shot.
She is running today on the same path before on Saturday aka following day this was published she's booked to run the Settle to Carlisle & Blackpool (Midland Pullman) chater from Glen Eagles in Scotland to Blackpool North via Carlisle and Settle.
