Brilliant video and well done. I was at Stafford that day and also caught 68006 and also the 47712 and 47828 rail tour. Nice one on getting two of them
Nice video! I am always impressed from train spotting videos and your channel itself. I saw 47828 on the rear of Sir Nigel Gresley on rail tour on the west coast mainline a few months ago
The tracks here are quadruple. In Japan, main lines are mostly double track, and local lines are single track. In the UK, there are a variety of trains. That's great! In Japan, there are almost no diesel trains running on electrified sections, and locomotive-hauled passenger trains have almost completely disappeared.
Thank you for your support and I'm glad you liked it. I thought it was actually going to be top and tailed but a double header is always nice especially those two 😊
@@StarlifeStudios Indeed it is! Great videos of all the different trains, hope the rest of your trainspotting career goes well! 😊 One question btw, is there any trains that you want to see? 😅🤔
I would really like to increase the amount of Flask (Nuclear) Trains that I see (this is more difficult than it sounds) and I would like more steam in general too. I would really love to film a classes 31 and 89 on the mainline one day too. Great question!
@@StarlifeStudios Thanks! Blue Peter is running on the 25th so that could be a possibility! 🙂 More timings are on a website called railtour 😄 Also, Clan Line 35028 runs in the Southeast with the Belmond sometimes, so that could be a possible steam loco! 😁 And for class 31's, the Poppy Line in Norfolk have one, not sure about any other railways 🤔 Once the class 89 is in service, I'M SEEING IT! 😂
Thank you BroleeM9263, I have 3 videos in the South London area which should be uploaded soon. I plan to record some more of these soon. Do you have any suggestions? South Croydon and London Victoria are on my list for visits this year. 😃
Amazing video Ross!! Quite an overlooked station I think but it looks brilliant with lots of variety! Some nice freight catches there I love 68006s livery! Nice catch of both of the railtours there! Interesting to see the WMR 323 as well! Shame theres no more 319s at this station and the platform looks incredibly low down! On a side note I have been enjoying watching back your playlist and have gotten to Bolton so far👍
Thanks for the video! Awesome to have my local station on here. My 4 year old would love to know why you picked Leyland? Thanks again for all the vids you do!
Thank you for watching! I picked Leyland for two reason; I haven’t been here before and it’s a rarity being a four platform West Coast station north of Stafford! 😃
@@StarlifeStudios awesome thanks for getting back to me! Didnt realise 4 platforms were rare on the wcml up this way. I have passed on the info! He was excited you replied! Thanks again!
TPE is infamous for that (or least infamous for me lol). Several other videos have showcased those trains running in diesel under wires. Grand Central also runs diesel under wires, but they don't have bi-modes, and considering they're open-access, they probably never will.
Nice video! Are the Nova-3 trains also still in service now (2024)? So not, why? This train is also so young. Will this train again be in service in the United Kingdom in the future?
TPE said it was to “simplify operations” and that they’d had noise complaints from Scarborough residents. Whatever the reason hopefully they end up with chiltern soon. They desperately need more and newer trains.
Hi gstakk, I do not use anything below 1x since it gives too much of a 'fish bowl' appearance - I believe 1x is much more realistic. Thanks for your kind comments.
Great video as always! How do you track the trains? I have tried using some websites on the internet but haven't found one that shows anything other than passenger trains. Any advice would be much appreciated :)
Could i do a video reccomendation? I have a local station called Severn Tunnel Junction on the line between Cardiff Central and Gloucester. The reason for this recommendation is, there are many types of trains you can see ther including Class 170s 197s 43s 800s 166s 66s and 60s. These can vary due to new trains or special ones but you get a mix of regional, high speed, long distance and frieght.
Thanks for the suggestion, I plan to visit Severn Tunnel Junction later in the year. It’s a great station and I can’t wait to go to see the variety you mentioned. I had actually planned to go last year but I wasn’t able to. Thank you! 😃
@@StarlifeStudios Your very welcome for the suggestion. When I first saw your channel, I saw your amazing videos and watched a local station (Gloucester) and thought that you can see more at Severn Tunnel Junction.
My son loves watching your videos. We come to this station a lot. At least once a week. He'll be happy to see this

Nice! I wanted to make sure I got the WCR 57s too so a bit of a drive was required. Thank you so much for watching, have a great Sunday 😃👍🏻

Awesome video! 😊

@@StarlifeStudios Oh yes I do have some recommendations, Wandsworth road by chance maybe? 🤔
@@Broleem9263 I have considered Wandsworth before but the fast lines are difficult to film. I will defiantly have a look at it.
@@StarlifeStudios Yeah same the fences aren’t as low they used to be in the NSE era.

I think they went out of service because of cracks found on the bogies? I think they might go to Chiltern Railways

Thanks Ross. May I suggest Shrewsbury or Bristol Parkway at some time?
