this game just does not feel smooth. The combos are not progressive unlike tekken 7. They just seem to stop mid way in awkward poses. Coupled with the fact that additional particle effects have been added. This game just could be a casual games thing. movement also did not get fluid like tekken tag 2 or the previous tekkens which could have taken away much of the unga bunga.
I played it and agree 100 percent on the fluidity of combos its feels really jilted animation wise especially. Hworang and law especially there new animations looks like dog shit and moves from hwo from flamingo no longer look smooth to me. The hits look they have no weight to them either. The particle effects can be turned down though
I’m not a rage quitter by nooo means, but if the first 2 seconds of the round start off like THAAT ..AND I find out that this was K's first time online with the beta ? Im handin the controller to my girl.. to watch her get cooked instead of me 🤣🤣💯 For all the times She laugh at me gettin clapped online 💀 Sweet revenge
This game is so different that a legendary player is kind of struggling with the new design as well. That being said, the strong fundamentals are on super display here.
The game seems to be too flashy for me. It's over stimulating 😔 I really want the game, so hopefully, there will be an option to tone down the effects.
So those were actually just frame drops and it was because the shaders were compiling I think, after a short amount of time I experienced 0 frame drops

I am also experiencing frame drops while having above recommended specs. Probably game not optimized well.
Once the shaders were compiled I didn't have a single frame drop issue
I was initally turned off by Hwo's new combo structure but its starting to grow on me.
I think he is more dangerous now, if you launch before heat. However, he still has all the weaknesses that he had in T7.
