    I don't get it, is brake travel adjustable in these racecars then? I heard some other driver describe it like "kicking a brick" it was so stiff

    Does anybody know why gt3 pedals are mounted on the ground rather than the 'wall' like in most street cars?

      Double clutch transmission, its a dual clutch automatic system that can shift the transmission faster than human ever could, as far as i know. It doesnt have the clutch pedal just like every automatic transmission car

      But it has still clutch pedal in order to command the clutch. If you spin while holding the clutch pedal, the engine will not turn off.

    • @gozinta82
      @gozinta82 7 років тому +7

      I bet you'd be right there at the top of the podium. Because apparently people who race ps3 gran turismo are JUST as fast as these masters. You should compare your lap times to the drivers who actually drive race cars.

      @@gozinta82 GT3s are made so rich gentleman driver with no talent can drive them at a decent pace without crashing out.
      Not sure why you're so defensive. Easy cars to drive. Doesn't mean it's easy to be one of the faster guys. That's still miles away. But in either case these cars are far more accessible for someone who has no clue how to drive a race car on the limit without crashing.

    • @TheInsaiyan

      @@coastallab5526 its just how they are designed. They arent supposed to be hard to control. Everything gets hard to drive when you are nearing the limit of the car, just that the limit with GT3s comes very very late. Thats why the difference between amazing driver and rich schmoe with basic skills is just 2 to 3 seconds depending on the track.
      They arent twitchy, have very elaborate traction and abs controlls made individually by every manufacturer. Are sold to privateers with great service.
      The accessibility, both price and drivability of GT3 and GT4 cars is the main selling point and why its so popular and mainstream. Its more than simple enough to understand.
