I just finished answering the survey. What surprised me the most is how the littlest change in the colour of the clothing or the background made some models look happier than their counterparts with colour being the only difference. Some models even looked gloomy and sick. Did anyone else notice this? Or just me?
For sure! If you've never gone DEEP in artist color theory, it goes over this exact principle. This is how palettes function in artwork, if you have a pink hued themed piece and need something to look green, using a peach or yellow color will make your brain go "That's closer to green. Must be grass. Color correcting in 3,2,1", or for something that's monochrome green, cooler greens will look blue and warmer ones will look yellow
The Asian model? At least for me after page 2 she started to feel uncomfortable then page 4 she was like uncanny valley something about her wrist being at that angle
I really like when MatPat talks about colors and the science behind them, especially in this episode. I’m color-blind, and I only see black, white and shades of gray, so him talking about colors is really cool to me!

So, I mentioned the whole color analysis trend I've noticed on UA-cam to my mom. She laughed and dug out a paperfolder with fabric samples and color codes where some were circled as her colors. It was from the 80's. Funny how things moves in circles with fashion (among other things)
I remember seeing a therapist when I was younger (in the late 90s/early 00s). I was a very emo teen with goth fashion preference. she made me read the season color book and demanded I figure out my colors and try them. Oh, did I mention I’m color blind.
There’s a whole other set of undertones that’s missing: Olive!! Olive undertones tend more green/less pinky and don’t really fall into strictly warm, neutral, or cool, because there’s just too much red in all of them. There are warmer/cooler/neutral olives, but just going by warm/neutral/cool when doing something like looking for foundation for example will make finding an accurate match basically impossible for someone with olive undertones (speaking from experience lol). It also affects what colors look best on you similarly to the other three main undertones!! (For example, olivey-greens and purples are colors that make me feel extra nice because they compliment the green in my skin!)
Ahahah I believe I’m an olive too since I look super green and green looks great on me lol. I think I’m a warmer olive? I do love my skin tone though, because it means greens and browns look great on me, and those are definitely my favorite colors :D
I've actually had my ADHD turn this arm of fashion into a hyperfixation for like the last year, and I am BEYOND PLEASED to see MatPat cover this. Excellent content.
Survey done, and I see what y’all were trying to do on the last page. Visual fatigue was kicking in, but also, the differences were starting to be more subtle.
As a guy with fiery orange hair, I've kinda just always accepted that I can't wear anything on the warm half of the color wheel (especially red or yellow), so hair indeed plays a major role in this...
Ginger with blond eyebrows, strawberry hair and a deep brown/red beard... and pale af.... Red's and orange's make me look clowny lol I look decent in blue, white and dark brown.... Have not a clue what that means just my observations over the years.
when I started studying and taking Nutrition and Food Science seriously, Food Theory comes out. When I got more self-conscious of what I wear and how I look, Style Theory makes an entrance. Thanks MatPat.
I would really like a theory discussing the color theory a bit more in depth, maybe including the difference between additive and subtractive mixing b/n light and fabrics, and the difference between r/b/y primaries vs. cyan/magenta/y
Which I think is also part of the point! Remember the lady who wrote that early book said to just never wear orange because she personally didn't like the color.
That's probably why one of the questions on the first section was "what's your favorite color?". It'll probably be very interesting data to see how drastically color preference created bias in choices. Personally, I feel like I didn't let my personal bias influence my choices too much. there were several instances where I chose another color over blue despite liking blue more because I thought a different color looked better.
same, I feel like my choices leaned more on the warmer side (esp the backgrounds) because my 2 favorite colors are practically warm tones (green and yellow)

My mom still has Color Me Beautiful. Glad you guys got the whole 'this has been around a whiiile' out first. The biggest problem with these 'seasons' or whatever types of color matching ideas is it oversimplifies, like most 'tools' and 'hacks'. The second is it doesn't take into account that people's coloring can change over the years. Like, my mom wore tons of orange (and made it work) in the 70s and 80s, but now the same shades look terrible on her.
Hi. According to some color analysts, our colors may change as we get older - usually it becomes cooler/ softer/ more muted. Orange is a warm color (no cool counterpart) and only ppl with warm undertones can wear it. Only "springs" can wear bright orange. If your mom can't wear bright orange anymore, maybe she can wear softer versions of orange - like peach or coral, or muted & darker versions, like rust or copper orange (for autumns).
I felt like I was starting to go cross eyed by the end of that survey! Props to the theorist team for making sure they cover EVERY combination of shirt colors and backgrounds! Gotta be thorough when it comes to data collection
AAHAHHHHHHH SOOOO EXCITED FOR THIS SERIES!!! I've been looking for my "colors" for sooo long and taken numerous quizzes, and sometimes I get polar opposites! Can't wait to watch every episode!!! :D :D :D
Last year I went to a professional stylist and got Deep Autumn for me. I always hated mustard and brown clothes so it's super weird for me to pick up that "ugly shirt" put it on and look at myself like "Wow, I look great!" I am very happy to see it in this channel! It's not a topic for women only, it's for everybody who wants to look better! I'll definetely take your survey, MatPat! I'm really excited and curious for its outcome :)
I'm also likely a deep autumn. I love cold colors like periwinkle, lilac, pastel pink and deep bright blue, so it was shocking how pretty I look in warm tones. I still hate mustard and orange, but wine red, and cream? New faves.
As I was watching this I had the thought that the type of products you use and the order of how you use them when washing your face might have positive or negative results on the cleanliness of your face and the emphasis or your natural face shape, if they even need to be used at all. I'm not quite sure how that could be tested or what products are a must to include and which can be tossed to the side, but I think this could lead to an interesting theory. I hope MatPat can see this and give some insight to this idea.
When I got bloodwork done once, the doctor mentioned that my veins were weirdly hard to find and that there were very small. So finding any info about colors using my veins won't work since I don't have many visible veins.
I did the survey and it honestly gave me so much anxiety because I'm like, "I already did this one, what if I don't choose the same answer? Is it even the same one?? Those two look identical!? Am I color blind!?!?? There's so many questions what if I somehow mess up and skew the data!???!!!?" Well let's see what happens lmao
Honestly, I feel that was intended, lol. Not to make you feel anxious, but to see if we still pick the same picture when decision fatigue has kicked in and it's probably more of a gut reaction.
Honestly when doing these tiktok tests the lind of lighting you are in would have an effect too, are you in a room with warm or cool lighting or is it morning or afternoon.. there can be factors beyond just your own features that play into it
If you’re not sure what to pick in the survey, move your eyes in the middle and whichever one looks more focused is the one your eyes are drawn to. This works for me, might work for some of you.
not gonna lie, taking that survey felt like i was taking a test, felt like i was gonna get graded 😂 kept thinking “what if i get it wrong?” when its literally all about bias 🙄 lol
when my sister was very little, my mom accidently gave her too many carrots and she freaked out when she realized she was turning orange. She is a scientist just like my dad, and her field of study was medical related and she still didn't realize what was happening! It is still funny to think of my sister as turning into a little human carrot when she was a baby! XD
This is now my favorite channels on UA-cam! My little sister is about two years old and asked me every day to see "MaPa" and it warms me up inside to know that this will be around for her to see when she's old enough! I just know that your going to be popping fresh, new theories then to! Thank you for all you do. you inspire me and her every day to wonder the What-ifs and learn about the silliest of things! So thank you for inspiring my generation, I know you will inspire many more young, curious minds long after the end of these channels too. Signing off, one brother a tiny theorist in the making.❤
Happy to hear about more than just pale skin. It’s always been super hard for me to know what I am as far as cool, warm, or neutral since the tools to tell are often not talking about things I can see with my skin (vein colors)
ooh with medium contrast I fall between Winter and Winter/Spring! I love it - mostly bright, deep colours with some lighter fun ones as a backup option!!!
I’ve been waiting and watching patiently as a LOYAL theorist to see if this channel TOO garners my subscription, and the fact that you showed how to find it and explain it (which 100% is gonna help in my art) I have finally decided to subscribe
I think the best way to describe this channel, in contrast to the other channels at least were at one point is, " oh but this has been done already...." the other channels were at least an orginal way to present ideas even if the theories were already there. Not this one, which really sucks cause i wanted to like it, i really did :(
I just took the survey, and first *was the background color changes intentional because it definitely skewed my results*. Second, I was taking it next to my mom and it was actually very enlightening. She and I have often disagreed on what clothes do and don’t flatter me (and she’s not great at explaining herself) but one of the prompts revealed that she dislikes the presence of yellow in the skin tone, so she avoids colors that accentuate it. I’ve always thought gold colors in the skin are beautiful, so I wouldn’t mind clothes that bring out the yellow in my skin, but my mother revealed that her history in Medicine makes her find any yellow in the skin as ill looking
My mom is the same way!! I have the exact same skin tone as her but all the colours I love to accentuate in our skin tone like olive green and yellow she says makes us look like we have jaundice
Can y’all do an episode on freckles? As a person who has a lot of them and has gone back and forth between liking them and feeling self conscious about them I would really like to know the affect they have on how I look and the types of things that would compliment them.
I did the survey and even though I’m from america I was subject to a lot of Asian media growing up. So the Asian girl with the super light skin was really hard for me to not be bias on because I know they want really pale and light skin, so I wonder if that is an additional bias in the study. I watched another girl from Asia do a color test and she picked all the opposite colors because they made her look pale and light skinned because that was what the style is even though her colors were opposite.
@@Hydraina she really was!! But some of those colors made her look a little more “tan” or whatever. Those photos made it hard to choose because in the media, normally they are really pale and light skinned. So I was struggling between picking the ones that made her pop vs the ones that look more like the ads I’ve seen.
this channel is like one of the most perfect combinations of my interests. I have an interest in fashion, but not in wearing fashion or starting/following trends. I like all the analytics of fashion: construction of clothing, the history, the artistic expression/style of the clothes, analytics of trends, the science of fabrics, ect. I want to go into costume design and get creative with clothing and fiber arts
Is this why the shades of makeup can help make certain clothes look better? I'm a high contrast person most likely, but I can work lighter colors if I use lighter makeup
I want to see a theory about fashion trends and ideals and if they are realistic or unhealthy. For example, the tissue test. Should teeth actually be as white as a tissue? How often does hair need to be washed and at what point does washing it too much damage your hair? Is waxing a bad idea despite beauty trends? Things like that.
The tissue test is bogus! I don't know about health or realism but aesthetically. I remember seeing a whitening commercial with a girl with a nice white smile. She didn't pass the tissue test and whitened her teeth. The rest of the commercial I was just staring at her teeth. I couldn't look at her face or listen to her talk. Just staring at her teeth. Totally took over her entire look.
After I finished the survey I looked over my responses and realized that I usually inputted the darker or more saturated of the two options, and then came my decision of which hue I liked more, and I often picked colors closest to my favorite color. Idk if this helps or anything, just wanted to say.
I´m really exited for the potential of a series going over the basics, it would be useful and fun to see. But this stuff is so hard to figure out since this is more of an art rather then a science where beauty is in the eye of the beholder. This was helpful in actually making sense of things, the paper and phone value test along with what qualeties define what season made it much easyer and clear for me to understand. Because to be honest i have never heard of one single person having any use of the vein or jeweler test. Nobody can decipher their veins and I... thought you looked best in silver jewlery so thats telling how the jewlery test I suppose.
I did the survey. I see what you were doing on the last page…. but I think the background colors were affecting my choices, also I found myself picking the colors that I thought looked better in general and also the colors I had seen on that same person in before. I couldn’t tell the difference between a lot of the colors and decision fatigue was kicking in.
For the survey I would recommend in addition to the first 2 options you add a "no opinions" option for if you can't tell the difference or otherwise like both options equally
Before I continue watching this past 3:08, I am thoroughly surprised I didn't notice this earlier. Matpat has every color jacket matching to his Theorist wheel... except for Game Theory. Is green not his color?
You should do a Style Theory on John Wick’s bullet proof suit. Maybe how it would work in real life or how to make it or something. I think it would be cool.
I mean, it is a near scifi tech. I imagine it would look bulky, made with the most expensive, cutting edge materials. But probably involving a weave of artificial spider silk done ala Kevlar, and graphene (or another carbon ring based material) incorporated in some way. Likely even more. But you'd also need to get around distress failure from high velocity impacts on woven armors, and I don't see that happening without a material with plasticity (it can move/creep back into it's original, tightly-woven, shape with some amount of energy expenditure). So... smart spider silk and a lattice of long carbon nanotubes for the materials? Idk, just spitballing.
Shocked how in the survey the background colour effected my judgement as much as the shirt colours plus some I just didn’t like ether so I just flipped a coin for those ones
I think it would be so cool if MatPat did a style theory on hunger games ( mostly effie trinket cuz omg I love herrrrr) and ig kinda like an outfit analysis.
Set 4 of the survey was crazy long!! And it seemed like many of the sets were getting repeated.... but there was probably some small shift in one of the colors. I also think my preferences on colors played a big part in which I chose, as opposed to which colors looked best with their coloring.
yay i get to participate in one of these surveys! I really felt like some of them looked the same, and others were better or worst based on the background. I really felt my eyes were constantly getting tricked. Looking forward to the results of this!
When i looked it up myself i seemed to be a dark/deep winter but according to the chart you showed i match a clear winter more? Dark hair, eyes, fair skin, high contrast, cool toned (blue veins) i also have make up with peach undertones too
I would definitely be curious about (dermatologist tested 😂) theories around skincare such as the vampire facial or Korean 11 step routines on this channel!
I think the places you go are going to play a big role on a person's outfit choices since looking at the survey, the background played a big role in my choosings but when it was same background, I tended to choose the color combo I liked best, I ended up choosing slight pastels for some and I think my favorite color being pastel orange also played a role in what I chose
I would love a video about which styles of clothing are most attractive. Such as, if someone dresses in a suit for day-to-day life VS sweats, would it be considered more attractive or less attractive? Or something considers Emo VS Cottage Core. Artsy VS Sporty. So on and etc.
2:25 "what if my signature red jacket is the wrong shade of red for me". The color analysist who analysed my colors said that we tend to like wear clothes which are in right color for us. So if you love your jacket and feel confident when you are wearing it, it's your color!
I personally don't care about fashionable stuff on me! I just wear what I'm comfortable in, because the only part that truly matters is that I'm comfortable in it
We discuss eumelanin and pheomelanin ALOT in cosmetology school. Those are the primary pigments in human hair. It's fascinating learning how to lift hair levels based on hair melanin and how to balance those tones with toners
So I’ve luckily been leaning into my true colors by accident, and I am similarly toned to Safiya. I actually am goth similarly to she is and we are both winters. I am proven that even more by the tests in this video. I think it really depends on the person though. While Safiya and I are both winters and we believe we like winter cooler on us, there are winters out there I’m sure that would hate winter colors in themselves and prefer different season colors.
Maybe the survey should have a question about whether the survey-taker is color blind? Because I feel like how one perceives color will have an effect on which colors one prefers.
pre video little note, whether this turns out to be true or not about colour matching it still wont stop me from rocking green ( I Like Lime And Neon) Or Orange (Bright Like Highlighter Or Peach), cause i adore those colours too much to find out it doesn't go well with my chubby physique =)
Mattpat I've literally been having the worst week... Ever. I opened UA-cam hoping for some positivity and lo and behold, youve posted. Thank you so much for being a ray of positivity in this Rocky, terrible world. Im so thankful for the entirety of team theorist, you all make my life so much better. Thank you.
I was always wary of when ppl asked me about my season cuz i dont have a season; i can literally wear everything except for oranges and greens, due to an olive undertone in my skin My family always have me grief when they tried to buy me clothes cuz they like to follow the seasons and i couldnt care less This ep actually made me interested in knowing this stuff. I guess i get what all the fuss is about now
I'm neutral but more on the warm side of neutral, but I do have a olive skin tone so it was expected 😅 And since I have a olive skin tone I can pull off both light and dark I also have golden brown hair so literally everything about my appearance is neutral 🤣 I'm more of a Spring/Winter
Omg, the survey was seriously messing with my head! By the end of it I felt as if I cannot really trust my senses because every small change in background changed my perception of a person and their clothing😅
I think you made this series in the perfect part of my life. I recently came out as trans femme and I have no idea how to style myself. I've always just worn comfy-but-without-holes-and-stains but I wanna look cute and pretty and maybe if I feel up to it hot. This Style Theory Basics series is gonna help so much. ❤❤❤
Idk if you have discovered slip shorts yet, but they're a great way to dress cute but feel comfy. They're silky shorts that go under your dress/skirt and help smooth lines and prevent thigh chafing. They make wearing dresses more comfortable. You do have to be careful purchasing them though because a lot claim to not have compression when they really do. Unless you want the compression, of course. And if they don't work for you, a lot of women wear bike shorts or yoga shorts instead.
Can we talk about body tests and the info surrounding each body type? I tried one once, and was told that I'm a pear. I have small shoulders and am skinny, but my chest isn't bigger than my shoulders. My bottom area is. I'm not insecure about my body at all, but when I looked up what goes with a pear I got a lot of misinformation, saying things that told me I probably had a bigger stomach, and every tip seemed to not want to compliment my features but instead just try to make me look like an hourglass. Looking like an hourglass isn't my goal, I'm comfortable in my own skin. Also there are a lot of subsets, like spoon that have almost no info available it seems. Categorizing yourself seems dumb if you can't do anything with it
This comment took me back to my teen years, I remember learning about body types and *every* shape apart from hourglass was about balancing to become hourglass (top heavy (strawberry), wear slim up top, poof at the bottom, bottom heavy (pear) pad out the shoulders and slim the hips down, rectangle, cinch your waist)
My question is for the winter pallet Where are they getting such bright colors from? When I think of winter I think of dark colors because everything is dead
@@m_artroom I think they mean like how most plants and tree die in winter and they get all brown and shriveled, the sky is usually gray instead of being blue, etc.
@@Qxestionable that makes sense. I mean I can see how spring is obviously brighter than winter but at least for me you still see blues, bright reds, greens. SNOW!

I swear if this series dosnt end with Steph and Mat getting well fitting colored tailored suits im going to scream. Also #ifeelsoperceived
I would really like a theory discussing the color theory a bit more in depth, maybe including the difference between additive and subtractive mixing b/n light and fabrics, and the difference between r/b/y primaries vs. cyan/magenta/y
I feel like my survey answers were more so influenced by which colours I prefer personally than what I thought looked better on that specific person😅
Which I think is also part of the point! Remember the lady who wrote that early book said to just never wear orange because she personally didn't like the color.
That's probably why one of the questions on the first section was "what's your favorite color?". It'll probably be very interesting data to see how drastically color preference created bias in choices. Personally, I feel like I didn't let my personal bias influence my choices too much. there were several instances where I chose another color over blue despite liking blue more because I thought a different color looked better.
yeah

Same
same, I feel like my choices leaned more on the warmer side (esp the backgrounds) because my 2 favorite colors are practically warm tones (green and yellow)

Thanks! Love you guys! (Especially Ash: Hi!)
I always hated mustard and brown clothes so it's super weird for me to pick up that "ugly shirt" put it on and look at myself like "Wow, I look great!"
I am very happy to see it in this channel! It's not a topic for women only, it's for everybody who wants to look better!
I'll definetely take your survey, MatPat! I'm really excited and curious for its outcome :)
do you actually like they way you look in thoes colors though?
Personally, Matt is more entertaining than entirety of TikTok combined

I’ve literally been studying Kibbe theory and this is so helpful! Thanks matpat! :D
Not the boy telling me I’m fatherless even tho it has no parents and is artificial intelligence 💀
Not to make you feel anxious, but to see if we still pick the same picture when decision fatigue has kicked in and it's probably more of a gut reaction.
same
Could Mat Pat do a theory on how we can improve pointe shoes, as well as making them more comfortable currently. I think this would be fascinating
Or doing a theory on heeled shoes period. I dont get the point of wearing those and I am a woman.
like ballet pointe shoes?
@@Velatrix_Blackwood some of us are short, and sometimes it makes us look great!
honestly? better fitting. I've been watching a lot of pointe shop and its amazing how much difference proper fitting can make.
Also like how to sew, pad, and wear pointe shoes to prevent bunions and blisters
This works for me, might work for some of you.
not gonna lie, taking that survey felt like i was taking a test, felt like i was gonna get graded 😂 kept thinking “what if i get it wrong?” when its literally all about bias 🙄 lol
exactlyyyyyy
when my sister was very little, my mom accidently gave her too many carrots and she freaked out when she realized she was turning orange. She is a scientist just like my dad, and her field of study was medical related and she still didn't realize what was happening! It is still funny to think of my sister as turning into a little human carrot when she was a baby! XD
I can't have been the only person who already knew their undertone but still followed along with the tests by checking myself 😂
The survey is so impressive, same images, subtle changes, makes your perspective and interpretation totally different. Well done!
I have been trying to figure this out for years, now I finally know that I’m a winter. Makes sense, I look much better in those colors
I have the same story as Matthew! Dark, bright and warm, and I wear all bright or neutral colors!
The thumbnail is the best thing MatPat has said about Tiktok
Real
Yeah
Indeed
for real
It’s the best thing he could say
I took the color matching survey and noticed my own trend, I'm a big fan of darkish oversaturated colors 😂
ooh with medium contrast I fall between Winter and Winter/Spring! I love it - mostly bright, deep colours with some lighter fun ones as a backup option!!!
I love all of your content MatPat across all four channels. Keep up the amazing work and never stop theorizing.
I feel like the backgrounds of the images in the Color Matching Survey influenced the results a fair amount.
Not this one, which really sucks cause i wanted to like it, i really did :(
As an art student this helps a lot with painting skin lol
Gosh, that model was so pretty! I felt like she pulled off almost anything, haha
@@Hydraina she really was!! But some of those colors made her look a little more “tan” or whatever. Those photos made it hard to choose because in the media, normally they are really pale and light skinned. So I was struggling between picking the ones that made her pop vs the ones that look more like the ads I’ve seen.
@@Chi.jubilee The season colour theory is very white culture centric, I kind of feel like you should lean into that bias so the survey will show it.
this channel is like one of the most perfect combinations of my interests.
Somehow MatPat is *shocked* to see something on Tiktok being trash 😂
8:41 That is legit one of the only episodes I’ve been able to remember over the years, I was kinda traumatized by that
After I finished the survey I looked over my responses and realized that I usually inputted the darker or more saturated of the two options, and then came my decision of which hue I liked more, and I often picked colors closest to my favorite color. Idk if this helps or anything, just wanted to say.
Can we just appreciate how much effort was put into this?
No
absolutely not!
Yes
No but u can
I´m really exited for the potential of a series going over the basics, it would be useful and fun to see.
Idk, just spitballing.
hacksmith did a video on that
@@gogauze they already exist they’re just really expensive, it’s basically a bullet proof vest that extends further around the body
Already kinda did that with the Batman one
A series on super hero and action hero suits!
I just wear what I'm comfortable in, because the only part that truly matters is that I'm comfortable in it
I'd love an @Ellie-Jean Royden collab. Shes a stylist youtuber and also talks kibbe body types. She's even developed her own style roots
4:33 - Don't forget that no-one should wear green, because it's not a creative colour.
Is it just me or was the last page of the survey way way longer... but all done can't wait to see the results
it was indeed way longer I was going to make the same comment and say thanks Mat for making me crossed eyed lol
The last page was way longer for more results instead of having like 20 pages!
ye i was like am i just going to be here for the rest of my life just choosing whatever option my mind told me
It was so long that i started getting tired of it lmao
It felt like it was never gonna end
i’m clearing out my books and i just realized how badly i need a sisterhood of the traveling pants theory
Tiktok filters telling me that my clothes have to compliment my skin shade now? As if I wasn't already self-conscious enough..
Matpat can make so much out of nothing.
You mean the internet can?
Well…..
Yes.
Godey would have words with you. 😅
Hey mat, I love your videos so much and I really hope you have a great career :)

This ep actually made me interested in knowing this stuff. I guess i get what all the fuss is about now
I really want a musical intro like you did in the other 3 channels, just because like this we can have a mash up of the 4 themes
that survey had so many options, I felt like I was in a trance by the end lmao just picking colors on gut impulse alone. no thoughts only colors.
the show that never gets rid of its style of jackets
I'm neutral but more on the warm side of neutral, but I do have a olive skin tone so it was expected 😅
And since I have a olive skin tone I can pull off both light and dark
I also have golden brown hair so literally everything about my appearance is neutral 🤣
I'm more of a Spring/Winter
You and me both brother/sister, but I have very dark hair. I'm a spring/autumn
I have a theory suggestion: the concept of getting “Beauty Sleep”. Does sleeping make you more beautiful?

My question is for the winter pallet
Where are they getting such bright colors from?
When I think of winter I think of dark colors because everything is dead
I think it's cuz cool colors like blues or something
I'd say that what they are named is actually almost entirely irrelevant. They are just words, that refer to a specific color set.
Since when is everything dead in winter?
@@m_artroom I think they mean like how most plants and tree die in winter and they get all brown and shriveled, the sky is usually gray instead of being blue, etc.
@@Qxestionable that makes sense. I mean I can see how spring is obviously brighter than winter but at least for me you still see blues, bright reds, greens. SNOW!
Supposedly I am a warm skin tone, with high contrast, and muted saturation, so I'm spring
