@@Unspeakable_Nihilisticit’s actually hammer on/pull off simultaneously, for that specific riff, but yes the whole song has alternate picking in many parts
Thanks! I usually study and prepare my covers a lot, since it's a very good guitar/music exercise to challenge to myself to thoroughly learn a track and record it. It usually pushes me to new techniques and levels and I learn a lot in the process, so when I start some of them I can barely play them! This particular track however I was playing a lot for a loooong time since my younger days when I was obsessed with the band, so it was a relatively quick one to get on video. It's very fun to play!
Hola Moises! Pues no recuerdo cual usé y la saqué un poco de oído, pero tienes varios tabs de este tema en ultimateguitar. La mayoría están casi perfectas!
Ayrton Andrade Db Standard (or C# standard if you prefer). All strings are equally one and a half steps down (C#, F#, B, A, G#, C#). Is the tuning they used in their older albums.
@@liamhayman2778 oh nvm I understand now, and also no dying fetus doesn’t tune down to drop B they’ve stayed consistently at C# on all of their records
I guess it's a mix (been years since I played this, so I can't remember exactly), but the main riff (0:30) is definitely down picking. It makes a huge difference in how it feels and sounds.
Wouldn't that be incredibly boring to watch though? Just a guitar with no drums, bass, vocals, second guitar... I pan my guitar in the mix all the way to the right to almost practically replace the guitar track that is there.
I like his face it looks very kind
Covering death metal songs doesn't mean you're a bad guy 💀
Nice. Looked this up to see how the sick riff at 0:28 was played. This makes me want to get a guitar and start learning.
You should definitely start learning . Most things sound more complicated than they actually are.
Is that alternate or downpicking?
@@Unspeakable_Nihilistic a mix of both!

Haha thanks!
Please explain how to do this xD@@MrJavielfo2
@@dovydas4483 haha idk really, I know most people use just 2 fingers, but I always did it like this 😅
You mastered the tone of the album!
I knew this song was nuts but you seem to have absolutely mastered it! Wicked job on timing, never sounded out of time

You look like Daron Malakian
Haha been told that before. I think it was the moustache-less beard, but I don't sport it anymore :P
Bass leads are even as tough tonplay
Bien joué man!
How did you get this tone
Just playing around with the amp (TSE X50) until I got something that sounded similar enough!
amp?
TSE X50 (digital)
what´s tuning used?

I think you and other great players would get a much better response if you only played without the song backing you up.
