The connection between the players and Jamaica is not the issue. The coach just made some very bad decisions for both games. The answer to your question about where was the 2nd half performance in the first half lies within the coach. He should have started the same team that started against Mexico.

The ball hits Franco’s face first then his hand. Whereas in the Mexico game the ball hits him in the hand first then his face. In conclusion the rules are just weird at times. Peru and Enner stabbed a player and gets red carded,but de Paul stomps the Chilean player and doesn’t even get a yellow card. The rules are so inconsistent especially with the incorporation of var.

Friend, I must tell you the truth that you may not like. Jamaica is not part of CONMEBOL, it is an invited team. That means their rights do not exist because the Copa America is from South America.
So you can get angry, but that's how it works. You invite CONMEBOL to your tournament (which is basically worse) and see how to fight and so on in a fairer way.

Whether its the Gold Cup, World Cup qualifying, or Copa America. Jamaica is always playing against the national teams as well as the referees. Jamaica is probably the only team from a predominantly black nation that consistently features in these tournaments. Concacaf has to do something. Latin referees can't be trusted to fairly referee a match where Jamaica is involved. Especially when playing against a Spanish speaking country.
