I’d love to see the following: spec bump to allow for better frame rate and quality of life improvements. Bluetooth connection for wireless headsets. Allowing it to up-scale to 4K would be ideal. And the ability to run N64 games on the “virtual console” or whatever they are calling it. OLED screen is a nice upgrade! But keep It cool and the way it is. I love that it’s a portable home console.
Ooh, I didn't even think about features like Bluetooth headset support. There's so much missing from the Switch right now, I forget how many little things they could do to improve the user experience.
Yeah, because we only want games from 2010, indie titles and animal crossing dlc. Pay no mind to new games coming out. Nintendo has no interest in millions in revenue from new titles. Now please excuse me, I need to find a 1080p t.v. It’s not easy to find one these days. Maybe Nintendo will start producing low res t.v’s no one wants? We can only hope.
Don't forget: the Wii was 480p, while the Xbox 360 was 720/1080p. I do think the new model will output 4K, but there's a lot more that goes into making a game look good than resolution.
Simply plugging in a switch to a 4K tv is going to have it default to 1080P anyways…and I’d say 99% of the population won’t notice the difference. Third party games are playable on switch, developers just need some help. If I can criticize Nintendo for anything, it’s their online service. Something like Xbox live should have been put in place in the Wii era, but that wasn’t a priority.
Psst, RE2 and RE3 aren't on Switch. Actually, they may have cloud versions in Japan, but they aren't running on Switch hardware. But I agree, Nintendo is fine being behind in graphical capabilities, but online play is inexcusable.
Told ya. ;)
