    • @Espadasilenciosa
      @Espadasilenciosa 4 місяці тому +5

      I think games can run in a 8GB modded console if Atmosphere is well configured, but the extra RAM won't benefit 99% of games (although I've read a few Switch ports checks the available RAM and uses it to the max). The higher RAM FREQUENCY will benefit all games globally.
      Another usage for the extra RAM is homebrew (specially useful for running Linux/Android), game modding, debugging...

    Hey, great video but why does it sometimes sound like it just cuts out the audio? Is it a text to speech thing or did you have to remove some audio?

    🏆 Are there 1TB or 2TB modules, do the Switch board and systems support them?

    • @nag3030
      @nag3030  3 місяці тому +2

      The switch can support it, but there aren't any 1TB/2TB eMMC 5.1 HS400 modules available. Most manufacturers have moved on to newer interfaces like UFS 3.0 and above

    Awesome, did you try this with some other console? Wii U especially for the smaller internal memory of the withe model? xbox 360 PS3 PS4 especially because you can run a version of Linux or XBOX One

      The ps3 and Xbox 360 would be wonderful to upgrade the ram, which would make the console so much better 😅
