It's really impressive you can tweak both the hardware and softwarea and it's a valuable skill to have. Having a modded switch with ubuntu is overkill 😂
Good work, with the cpu flex, you can chop the end of it and solder your cpu point to the bottom of the top resistor on the underside of the flex then just run the wire through the shield clip points

Hello, I bought a switch that had a dead emmc, I bought one but I think it comes without a system, could I remove the system from another OLED and inject it into the clean emmc? Don't you have a problem with serials or something like that?
Just curious, does more RAM mean that switch games will crash less? I know most devs have set the use limit to a certain amount but I believe if there’s a way to utilise the extra RAM, so many games will crash less (especially survival / open world).
I think games can run in a 8GB modded console if Atmosphere is well configured, but the extra RAM won't benefit 99% of games (although I've read a few Switch ports checks the available RAM and uses it to the max). The higher RAM FREQUENCY will benefit all games globally. Another usage for the extra RAM is homebrew (specially useful for running Linux/Android), game modding, debugging...
But you won't get any noticeable improvement to match the effort plus cost of those upgraded components on original switch games as they aren't programmed to take advantage of such upgraded hardware.
Honestly it bugs me why Nintendo never made a console change aside from the Screen I mean if a single fan can double the overall RAM and give it many times more storage then Nintendo has no excuses.
