Christianity was present in Africa, long before colonization; gospel of Thomas & gospel of Mary and many other gospels were found nearby nag Hammadi, Egypt, possibly written in 70 to 90 AD to the latest 140 AD; and African nation was a strong nation back in time during Rome including Egypt, was not the subject for colonization by Western countries; also, Jesus is a first messiah, delivering a teaching of having one God for all, from slave to King, women to men, the poor and ill to the rich and well, all equally can go to Heaven, Kingdom of God if you believe in Jesus and God, He never taught a teaching of racism, but I do agree that certain individual, including a Pastor and Priest who used Christanity for wrong reasons and for oppression and abuse of power to commit sins but that is not the teachings of what Jesus taught us and these men are a product of evil sprits; in the Bible, blasphemy is an unforgettable sin, and no matter if he is a King, or a Priest, if he used the name of God for wrong reasons, his sins will not get forgiven according to Bible; also, the early Christanity is all about showing forgiveness, mercy, and love for one another, just like how Jesus lived his life to save others and he died in the cross for saving all of us, and how he spent all of his power and life to show love and mercy to the most vulnerable people; today's Bible is not really purely representing the early Christanity since religions have been used for abuse of power and authority; but Christanity itself is the one; regardless our color of skin, our background, God and Jesus chose us to be the one; you are powerful, you are beautiful, and you are brave and stronger than anyone because God is within us, that is the true teaching of Jesus, and he does not see any difference between a white man and a black man. What I've always questioned is Europe's version of "Christianity" (in quotation marks because that's probably not what it was called). Colonialism sure did push their version of "Christianity" on the continents. One black man stating this religion was already on the continent, CANNOT distract me from the FACT that COLONIALISM, and the CREATURES that run it, took what already existed and turned it into something UGLY. This is what they do with EVERYTHING!
I know he said no fact checking but: The Spanish word dios comes from the Latin word deus, which is derived from the Old Latin word deivos, and then from the Proto-Italic word deiwos, and finally from the Proto-Indo-European word deywós, which comes from the word dyew- meaning "sky, heaven". Deus is a singular word, but its plural is deii. In latin words that end in us for singular have a plural that ends in I. Thats why the plural for octopus is octopi.

You mean the first Christian government? Because Ethiopia is 2,000 miles from holy land -ie. Syria is right next door the word Christian comes from Syria first used there
I don't know if that history is exact, Judaism was in Africa first for sure, but Christianity at best was definitely in Anatolia first, which is either Asia or Europe depending on how you think, and where it was established first compared to any other location is not of any importance other than to serve ego, which is not of God and I'm sure frowned upon by Christ.
So let me just say that I do agree that Christianity was already established in Africa way before European colonialism, but unfortunately, somewhere down the line, something went wrong because a lot of Ethiopians are Orthodox and they don't practice what's biblical, they practice a lot of tradition.

Well his argument was that the slaves weren’t introduced to Christianity by europeans when they were. So I’d say that’s pretty relevant. Idk the history of the Bible being pushed down slaves throats other than a lot of the whites justifications for slavery and their behavior was supported by the bible and their take on Christianity. Maybe they did believe they could save if not the lives, the souls of these poor heathen less than human in their eyes. Maybe their intentions were noble, but I doubt it. It was probably about control and protecting their bottom dollar. Or maybe they were backward zealots and thought that it was the right thing to do and that they were obligated to spread the word. It’s complicated. But the slaves brought to America weren’t Christian’s before Europeans came down the west coast of Africa.
Christianity was already in Africa but it was in certain parts of Africa, the North &East but it reached the other parts of Africa (West, Central, South) through the Europeans
I believe So, because Old People Practice the Covering of the Head, while Making Prayers. In South East ASIA Some Churches they have Black Madona. Yes Christianity is Never A Religion. Not really, we didn't have Christianity, Europeans took something from us changed it to fit their narrative and colonial intentions, then called it Christianity. The Bible and the Ethiopia book dont hold the same history, they hold similar history and the Bible has gaps of time to erase events that they can't fit to colonial intentions.

You just hate white people
The Ethiopian know this and does go around promoting it. You must seek and find it for your self!
Also the Ethiopian Bible was written before Jerome’s Latin Vulgate
No
TRUE 🗿✝️
I know he said no fact checking but:
The Spanish word dios comes from the Latin word deus, which is derived from the Old Latin word deivos, and then from the Proto-Italic word deiwos, and finally from the Proto-Indo-European word deywós, which comes from the word dyew- meaning "sky, heaven". Deus is a singular word, but its plural is deii.
In latin words that end in us for singular have a plural that ends in I.
Thats why the plural for octopus is octopi.
Coz Constantine started Roman Catholic church by hammering some scriptures and books from the original bible it was done in today's Vatican formerly Roman empire

KJV Bible is heretical. Protestants left the Church, not the other way around. And I'm related to the ol'boy so I feel justified saying he was a bit nutters. Pious but out of his mind. There is only one true church, in two expressions, Holy Catholicism or Orthodoxy. We love our protestant brethren, and wish you to come back.
It has over 80 books compared to KJV's 66.
It also doesn't waste essential Christian teachings like the KJV does
So what is the difference between Christian vs Christianity?
In order to have a canon of scripture u need the universal acceptance by the church most of books you r naming were in the Mediterranean world where the judeans live - please
14 century Africa formally Ethiopia or Kemet was a Christian national Africa wasn't devided until the Arabs invaded
So let me just say that I do agree that Christianity was already established in Africa way before European colonialism, but unfortunately, somewhere down the line, something went wrong because a lot of Ethiopians are Orthodox and they don't practice what's biblical, they practice a lot of tradition.
Because that's what Original Christianity is, the one you know was polluted by Romans
Martin Luther poisoned Christianity with his Revolution
For hundreds of years the East and West practiced Christianity
Lots of prideful sinners here, go to confession and repent your sin of pride.
Love history, now I want know how the Bible become so corrupt in Europe
Pointless conversation! The core of christanity is that is Jesus still the head of the church? Saviour? Or just put Him aside and preach about other idols?
individuality is a devil idea unity is Christ idea
As a matter of fact christianity spread to Ethiopia before it spread to anywhere in Europe
Not racist at all to equate Ethiopia with all of Africa
It wasn’t just in Ethiopia either it was in central and west just like Islam and Judaism

LISTEN: To say Christianity originated in Africa is Debatable . Before the Ethiopian bible or any books or emerald tablets. brings this QUESTION. WHAT was here before Christianity in AFRICA? or Any Country? Before Religion? Does anyone know! clue? This was Before Religion or Any written scriptures or books! Its more important than any written scriptures , because it was here before Religion. And it Did not Originate in Any Country! Does anyone know?? if you know this? this will lead you to The Creator God, And not religion. Again it was Here before religion.

Wait in North Korea they are taught Kim Il-Sung started all religion before he came down from heaven to lead the North Korean people.
Everything true but one thing: christianity wasn't in Africa before Europe. Armenia was already the first christian state, even before Abyssinia.
Armenia was the first country to adopt it as it official religion but the bible literally takes place in modern day Egypt, Palestine, Israel and even mentions EthiopianSudan and Cush(Africa) by name
This is true but evidence higley suggests that Ethiopia was the frist Christian place mainly cause thats were the frist bible was found

It was Armenia, then Ethiopia, and then Greece

Seeing as how the New Testament was written in Greek I find that hard to believe. The first group of Christians were called the Hellenists after all.

About Armenia,Bathlomeo apostle of Christ traveled to Armenia to teach Christ teachings so it became the first country to adopt Christianity in Eastern Europe
People from the Congo and the region where most the slaves came from were not practicing Christianity before Europeans came.
Irrelevant
Did you that many of our early church fathers were African and Middle eastern.

Jesus did Not Come Down on Earth and Walk as a Flesh to Preach the Holy Spirit of The Holy Father. Not to Establish Religion.
So he came to do what?
Not really, we didn't have Christianity, Europeans took something from us changed it to fit their narrative and colonial intentions, then called it Christianity. The Bible and the Ethiopia book dont hold the same history, they hold similar history and the Bible has gaps of time to erase events that they can't fit to colonial intentions.
Incorrect. Ethiopian bible is the oldest book around. Ethiopians use to be jewish then they converted to chrsitianity. As a matter of fact there are ethiopian jews in ethiopia and isreal.
