Hey Kev, as someone who started in Level 1 Helpdesk and ended up in Level 3/Engineering, your story experiences really reflect mine over the past decade. Happy to watch you video and not only share your experience your stories with your viewers, but watch you grow.
Thanks Sorriow. I'm just trying to be honest and I hope it helps people that are new in tech.
This is exactly what I was searching for
Thank you
I started at $8.50 a year ago because I was still a noob, now I start a new job at $12. It might not seem as much but I'm actually seeing my salary grow for the 1st time.
Thank you Kev
I recently got a entry level IT Coordinator position, I've never worked IT ever, but messed around with computers all my life as I'm still quite young, but you helped me learn Active Directory, crazy how in 3 months I went from knowing nothing to knowing some ❤️ keep up the great work
Nice work

I'm about my first help desk support job, I'm so anxious but your videos give me so much hope
Good luck
Thank you for your feedback, I tend to stay to a company 2 years, certifications and experience skills always back you up. And of course always do your position never do someone else’s unless you are being paid as much.
Exactly.
Hey Kev, thanks for putting out such amazing content. Any suggestions on Intune related videos that I can learn in depth? Plus any chances of you putting out a video on Server 2022 Lab maybe ?😄
I'll cover intunes soon. Same goes with server 2022.
@@KevtechITSupport Thank you Kev 🥳
🙏🏽
Hi, I am in the same boat. Being a female in IT Helpdesk is like a golden egg. I was 26 to 32 and now in path to 40 ☺
Amazing efforts Mr.kev !
Btw, you've mentioned working for multiple industries while being in the MSP. So, was that WFH ? or you actually needed to show up at the MSP ?
Office environment
Great vid Kev! I have a question, what exactly is a pre screen? I have a pre screen tomorrow for a tech support role.
A pre-screening interview is a series of questions that lets you learn more about a candidate before you conduct a more extensive interview or pass them on to your client. They basically want to see if your the right candidate for the role.
My first job that I’m working right now is also working for DOE as a Tech Support. 😊👋👍
Best of luck!
Hi Kevin, love your channel, remember 2 years ago, I start watching your channel hoping I will land a job in IT took me awhile but I did, fast forward today, it’s 7 months since I start my first IT job, absolutely love it all day everyday, my main concern is how to progress in IT now, how can I land job 2nd line. If you can advise me pls
ua-cam.com/video/W1AdF4S6A-c/v-deo.html made a video on it. Good luck
Hey man, Im currently a field tech also working with a company that has a contact with the NYCDOE. Crazy coincidence. Its my first real tech job aside from sales. I love being able to set my own schedule and pace my days. Also being able to move around freely. Are there positions like this in tech that still have this same freedom but are maybe more technical? What would i need to look into?
I need to up my pay a little to make staying in NYC worth it
Might need a cert and look at the job description and build a home lab.
You are big motive for me.i start as a helpdesk last year ,now i'm IT executive in multinational company.
nice.
any tips on how to start learning or and roadmap?

Can an asocial person succeed in this field? I hate people but I'm pretty good at making others think that I'm outgoing and approachable
I'm a social person so that works for me.
And then you find out years later that your coworkers have been making 10 to 15 to 20,000 more than you that entire time. Like lol
yep
What year was the first IT job?
2014, you can check my linkedin profile too.
