- If you're cold, they're cold, so start them the right way. Here we will go though the start up procedure and how to drain your carb bowl if you don't plan on riding for a while.

A great video. Hope you are well and still enjoying your Navi.
Thanks for the reminder I have not ran a carb bike for a while so this was a good refresher
I have been putting mine in reserve. I thought the bottom was reserve. I only have 50 miles on the not full tank from the dealer, so next time I will probably fill it and ride. I am so glad you made this video. I had a few 4 wheelers growing up and they all had chokes but one was a honda, with a petcock just like this but it was up on and bottom reserve, so I looked at this bike and figured it was the same. To me quarter tank is empty and I only ran out of fuel 1 time, and that was because I was a semi driver and I listened to my driver manager and delivered the load and then got fuel. I rarely needed the reserve on the 4 wheeler but I was happy to have it 2 times. I turn off my fuel after every ride and run it out of fuel when I know it's going to sit for more than a day. I did that for years on that Honda 4 wheeler and it still runs, and I never had to take apart the carb. I am continuing the same with this bike.
Excellent explanation and demonstration. Thank you. This video was a lot better than I expected. Looking forward to more videos. I' hadn bever seen a complex petcock handled so thoroughly competently. I have just decided to subscribe to your channel and see what else I can learn. The Honda Navi looks great in red too.. Be safe and happy trails
Thanks again, from Irvine California.
I appreciate that alot. 🙏
I'm just some guy, but I do try to get the facts straight and clear. 🤓
@@navinerd8035 What you're doing is cool. I appreciate it and and support it with words. Plus, with all the Honda Navi videos out there nobody was so thorough as you explaining.. I like the facts. Good stuff. Keep it up.
The fuel mixture is not adjusted properly on these from factory
I love it, I want one now 😁
Do it!
For someone who lives in Texas and it's always hot outside, how often should we drain the carb?
Instead of holding your brake on the right and accelerating just lock your break on the left..unlock when your ready to ride..
Just got mine yesterday,
Any Navi riders in Wisconsin??
ohhh yeahhhh
Interesting 🤔
Hi I did all of that even y have change air filter ,spark plug, drain the carb still doesn’t Franck I am going to crazy
Run ethanol-free fuel if you have it available. Carb won't gum up.
I've heard legend of ethanol-free. It sounds glorious.
There are websites to locate ethanol free
Is this better than a Honda rukus. Just worried about the Navi shutting down on me lol. Also in 5"7 and 245 lbs. Do you think this will support heavy riders. I love the cc on this compared to a honda ruckus
The distortion effect you apply when you throttle is absolutely stomach curling and eye straining. It doesn't look flashy, it doesn't make anyone think a Navi is putting out power, and it certainly doesn't add anything to your video. You have a great way of talking and explaining to the camera, please rely on your natural ability. I feel like I'm watching a 12 year olds Fortnite edit everytime it happens.
Believe it or not, it's not an effect. 🤷🏻♂️
Do you know if I have to do that every time if I just don't write it for like a day or two? Or is that just for storage purposes?
at least once a year, or if you plan to not ride for 3 months.
You like like one of the guys from Trailer Park Boys. 😃👍🏻
Sir,where to order i want one too
Search for a local "Honda Powersports dealer".
NO need to do that if you start your bike once a month during the winter time to let him cycle the fuel thru the system.
just turn off gas petcock and run empty, its hard on the engine to run your bike like that in the winter. the engine never really gets up to operating temp for very long and just draws in more moisture of coarse treat your gas with Seafoam
POS scooters. Sold mine before it hit 400 miles. The dealerships charging more than MSRP should be ashamed.
I have serious buyers remorse buying this pos, I'm seriously unimpressed and upset with my purchase.
Welcome to the scooter life. Once the dealer told me only certain gas stations. Forget about it.
How much did you pay for yours ?
