You should check out concert version when vocalracha Seungmin,leeknow,bangchan and I.N sang it (the units swapped songs just to show what aces they are…. Seungmin rapping is super savage)

@AmariLeone yes! I suggest also checking out the "vocal line" equivalent of Muddy Water, Waiting For Us. During concerts, the two groups would preform these two songs and then have the audience vote for their favorite one. We have some hilarious moments from these little contests 😅 For the 2023 Pilot Fanmeet, the two groups swapped the songs, so the rap line sang Waiting For Us and the vocal line sang Muddy Water. It was amazing and it would be fun if you reacted to both swaps after acquainting yourself with both songs 😊

Probably this was recommended just because it’s a cool and unique song. This song might have been my favorite off of the Oddinary album. In fact, a few weeks ago I went to a social gathering, the theme was, Dress as a Song. I wore brown and blue and went as Muddy Water by Stray Kids.
Oh yeah anyone who's heard my music could probably guess I'd love this song cause this is all the way up my alley lol. Also ooooh the theme of dress as a song is fire!!! Never heard that one before
@@AmariLeoneDress as a song is a great conversation starter because you go up to people and ask what their song is and in what way their outfit represents it. You can also learn a lot about a person by what song they chose.
I also Stay to the end.. I heard that they do that for copyright reasons but some of the outro music can be a tad "unusual" but you can enjoy it... lol love the chair dancing. I love SKZ wordplay and my go-to for explanations are either YTubers' Handsome Sausages or Its Andy and Jas. They explain even possibilities up to 3 difference word play meanings within a given song.. love finding out the meanings and it make me like these master lyricists even more.. In concerts, we call these guys the rapline and Chan, LeeKnow, Seungmin & I.N the vocalline.🖖🏼

And yeah I've noticed it's always pretty weird (I often think "this was made by someone who isn't a musician" lol) BUT this time I had a good little dance & laugh lol. Anyways I'll check out those channels!

You have never reacted to item or hall of fame by stray kids , they are both besides in the legendary 5Star album , I recommend checking that out next, it's so good

Thought it would be a tribute to Muddy Waters the blues singer when I saw the title! Popped in to see! Not into this boy group but I do think Felix has a unique voice! I enjoy BTS and others of kpop but I enjoy One Ok Rock also enjoy Taka's amazing pipes in clock stricks, Take what you want, both live are amazing performances! You should check them out sometime you might be surprised how good Jpop and rock is! And yes I do know who Muddy Waters is I am in my 70's and I still love music that's got soul!

Yes muddy water is from the same album maniac is in "oddinary". The other unit song with the vocal line is "waiting for us" which is a sweet ballad
Fun fact in their recent dome tour they switched units and the muddy water team did the singing for waiting for us and the singing unit for waiting for us rapped muddy water it was so good. I think its somewhere on youtube if youre interested!

They had a few lines where more than one of the members were involved but only one was highlighted. Your ears aren't lying. The only lyric video I've seen that has explanations is The Tortoise and The Hare one. Granted, I haven't seen all of the lyric videos so I could be wrong.

oh god I love Muddy Water so much, it's so criminally underrated, and as a Hyunjin bias, I'm absolutely in love with him on this track! Personally think it's one of his best lazy raps in the entire SKZ discography (together with Freeze and Venom)

Hey Amari, was meant to go to sleep since it’s almost midnight here but thought I’d check your reaction out before I did and I stayed, lol. Also had a great laugh with you at the end listening to the outro. 😂 Have to admit this song took a while to grow on me. I heard the other sub-unit vocal song first and was drawn into the emotions and meaning of that one, “Waiting for Us” written about waiting for them/them waiting for us to be able to meet again after Covid. Also I did hear Changbin and Han sing together though maybe I mis-heard too. 🤷🏽♀️ The fun thing is to watch the video from their 3rd fan meeting in Seoul last year where the vocal line sang this song and the rap line did the ballad Waiting for Us. Just going to be the old lady and will have point out that the intro piano is reminiscent of 30s Ragtime, Scott Joplin, and 50s jazz -Think The Entertainer. Baroque is from 17th-18th Centuries. Think Bach, Vivaldi, etc.
Totally understand what you mean by "lo-fi." Most of us born before 1980 understand that it's not just chill music. LOL. I really don't know if most kids know what high fidelity actually is!
