Lee Know actually worked as one of the hosts at Music Core (a famous Korean music show) once a week for around 3 years. He joked around with the other hosts, announced ranks, interviewed other artists and did performances. I definitely recommend you check out a video or a few clips he's a natural in a hosting position!
Honestly, I think he did MU Core, the radio show for a year, and even Amazing Saturday to break him out of his shell. So before I couldn't see him as a host before but now he kills it.
@@2preciousluv Yeah. Seungmin is kind of naturally good at MCing but Lino just slips into an MC persona and dominates it. I would have never believe it if I hadn't seen it. That is one of the reasons I think he would be a great actor
I.N is like a mini Lee Know, they are very much a like in personality and they are both very direct, I.N finds the things Lee Know says when he is being mean hilarious and Lee Know has said that I.N is like his son. Hyunjin has said before that he wanted to adopt I.N as his brother considering they are really close
2:09 I think you're right about Lee Know being a direct, no "fluff" kind of guy. Bang Chan has said that Lee Know isn't too faced. So I think, as playful and flirty as he is, he is always what he says he is or feels how he feels. He may joke around with the members, but it's all in good and honest fun. It doesn't seem like he tries too hard to be "fake" (like Hyunjin could tell immediately that LK was pretending to be excited).
Yeah true -- he's playful, but like direct in his teasing and playfulness. I don't think he's fake. He may have a wall up when it comes to certain topics that he doesn't want to get into, but def not fake.
I.N is much like Bang Chan but more covert. He'll keep a smile on all day if it means others around him will feel more comfortable. Self-sacrificial in that way. The guys admire this coming from a youngster and attack him with affection accordingly. 😂

I believe I.N has said when he was younger many of his peers were intimated by him so he started smiling more often, I think it's a habit of his now. When they were talking about meeting up and having the serious conversation 14:13 , I felt his smile was more reminiscent than anything-like he was happy to remember that moment when his hyung could rely on him and they were able to talk more deeply with each other. This contrasts deeply with Hyunjin who seems to feel those emotions from that time and conversation when reflecting on them
I.N. is the middle child, and there is quite a big gap between the three boys. I am not sure how much older the oldest brother is, (he was already in the military when Stray Kids debuted) but I think his younger brother is six or seven years younger than him and he tends to be a bit of a 'parent' to him sometimes. He does sometimes find it strange to go from being the 'baby', to 'not the baby' when he goes home. I.N. is a Busan boy through-and-through, and very straight forward. Like the rest of his family, he does not beat around the bush. Which is probably good at keeping all of them grounded. He is not fond of physical touch, but has learned to tolerate it. Felix was originally the only one he would accept it from without a fight.
I.N is more than what people see him, he has maturity and level of intelligence.. whatever i have known him throughout the journey he has very strong mind and personality, he is shy and hence often people ignore him or misunderstand him because of that,you can react his other videos as well. Also his episode with Bang chan and changbin is must watch..
Both Changbin and Lee Know are great at hosting this series. They have their own style which are very different. LK's ability as a host is well known publicly given his past involvement in shows.
Something about IN and his smile that he mentioned in a skz-talker recently: he said (something to the effect of), “when things are hard, just smile.” I don’t think it’s forced necessarily in the way of being “fake,” but more a coping mechanism for interacting with things he’s not 100% sure how to tackle. I’m actually quite similar, not to the extreme that IN is, but it’s one of the reasons he’s my bias because I relate to that way of handling the world I think it’s also why he’s often labeled as very cute and happy when, like you mentioned, he does have a very serious and reflective side to him; it’s because for the most part, from what I’ve seen, he has very serious moments that are tackled while smiling
To add on, I remember a relatively early clip during a skz game where IN gets mad as all get out and he starts yelling but he does it all while smiling 😭
Hyunjin has said many times how precious I.N is to him (I.N is honestly quite precious to all the members,they have major soft spots for him,their words not mine),so their chemistry really shined ❤
I.N. is so underrated.I think getting attention from Alexander McQueen has helped his confidence.He has mentioned that early in his career that he was told he looked scary when he isn’t smiling, and as a result smiles frequently.
One of the things I've observed is that Hyunjin tends to be extremely cautious about what he takes from a conversation. He has often appeared to have lower self-esteem (and I think he's said as much in the past), and now, with the rather fast rise to fame, he gets a LOT of "oh! Hyunjin, you're so handsome/beautiful, you are so great, so awesome, etc." But because many of these statements are coming both NOW (after fame) and from people who were not there prior to fame, those statements cannot be trusted. So, going to someone like Lee Know or I.N, who both will be direct without being actually mean, will tell you what they truly think, without a lot of prevarication to try to "protect feelings", would be a trustworthy resource. It takes a lot of effort for someone to worm their way through that to become a trusted friend after fame hits someone (not talking from a famous perspective, but I have managed to make friends with some people who have had at least 15 minutes of fame, and boy howdy, did that take a TON of work.) So, given that Hyunjin is incredibly introverted, shy, and ... untrusting is the wrong word, but "not inclined to jump into trust" is awfully long... ;) But anyway, because of who Hyunjin is, his personality, and some of the things we know have happened from or in his past, having a small circle of really close friends, that he knows will rip apart the world for him, and will also tell him the truth without sugarcoating it... he's not going to be as open to communicating outside of that group. Even with Stays, it's very possible to see the "Fame" mask that he uses. (That one I'm really familiar with. Not "fame" obviously, but I used to perform in front of the public and there is definitely a thick mask and armour that you put on when your personality is not particularly outgoing, trusting, or extroverted.) Thanks for the reaction. I'll be waiting for the next one! (And especially for the reaction to the Han and Lee Know episode, which I found absolutely incredibly interesting from just a body language perspective.)
11:33 It's interesting that you say that about Lee Know and Han (that Han isnt too much in LK space and LK likes that). Because in their 2Kids Show episode, LK said Han was his "vacation house" where he can go to find comfort then leave for a while 😂 You may find that episode interesting too!
Something about I.N is that when he was younger he was told he had to smile because if he didn’t others would call him a monster. I feel that that kinda contributes how he treats serious conversion. He doesn’t want them to think he doesn’t care. But of course I.N looks always pretty and is the cutest maknae possible no matter what he does❤
4:13 I wonder that about I.N. too. He seems like a genuinely happy person, but I also think that he does put on a smile even when he might not feel like smiling. Not in a disingenuous way, but in a way that maybe he's not comfortable with sharing his negative emotions. 6:10 I wonder this about KPOP idols in general. I wonder if they love the "labels" or "boxes" (i.e. maknae, sunshine, rabbit, baby, etc) that the industry and fans place on them. Or, if over time, those labels/boxes/etc feel like they are hindering their personal growth as they get older and change like we all do.
Jeongin is very similar to Lino in a lot of ways, including the fact that he can be serious about a situation for a moment and then completely deviate into a silly joke..
I love these videos. I agree with you about I.N. I've always felt like there's more to him than what he shows on camera, maybe he just doesnt like sharing much to the public eye, but its nice that he has the guys and that the guys seem to actually know his real self, at least according to what hyunjin said, which is (as you said) something we wouldn't expect just by observing IN on camera. Im really curious about him.
Also i think it was nice of him to talk about how he feels when singing solo songs in contrast to how he feels when singing with stray kids. It´s nice that he shared that.

I think something that informed my view of IN early on was his two kids room episode with Changbin where Changbin said he asks Jeongin for advice bcs he knows the advice will be straightforward and blunt (if I'm remembering correctly). I really got the impression that Changbin respects Jeongin's thoughts and point of view, bcs regardless of how the advice is given it must've been good advice. They've also said they sometimes have the dynamic where the maknaes seem older and more mature than the hyungs. I feel that they've always spoken of Jeongin as being much more than the easy breezy spoiled maknae, and you can see that about him, but their content isn't necessarily going to capture the way he is in private or more intimate settings. He wants their content to be fun to watch, so he smiles and plays along
Actually Lee Know is super smart, very sharp and quick thinker. On his bubble (chat app with STAYS), once in a while he does ‘DJ Lee Know’ which he reads STAY’s comment in real time and give smart super funny answers, and applause 👏 . The speed is so fast and what he writes is so unique and smart. I really love Lee Know for his quick sharp brain.
I hope you can watch the whole series until the end because I love this series and how you talk about the members, and the final chapter is Minsung plus Mc Changbin, you will love it❤
Yay thanks for reaching to this!!!! Loving how I.N has been called a mini Lee Know and a mini Bang Chan in the comments. I see him as closer to Seungmin in personality, but you can tell he’s grown up around them💯
Hyunjin and lee know have become very close over the years, they have deep conversations and you can tell that they click well, also your comment about i.n putting a smile on sometimes makes me think of how he mentioned before that he sometimes just smiles for no reason because ppl told him his resting face would seem "scary" otherwise, and he feels like he should smile more because of those "cute maknae" expectations ppl have so that was a good observation!!also btw hyunjin and lee know both like this "hard to get" play a lot😂😂 youre spot on with that hahaha Lee know recently called jisung his "vacation house" so again, youre right 😂😂😂

wohooo thank you for this reaction/analysis ☺️ Regarding I.N and smiling: I don't think Innie takes serious topics any less serious - I'd say he's one of the more serious members in general, and yes, very empathetic, even though maybe quiet about it. He trained himself to smile more early on *because* of his serious face that was pointed out to him a lot, so I think by now it's just a reflex when he talks and listens, a response he doesn't really think about because it's so ingrained. Not fake because it's not a decision but unconscious imo. I, for example, do also smile when I'm talking about serious or painful things because it makes it easier to actually talk about it somehow. That doesn't really take away from the depth or earnestness of the conversation, though, and I'm sure the guys know that :3
I.N is the member I am kinda the most curious about how he will present in the future (at a BTS or even SHINee point in their careers 🤞). I think because he is the youngest, he's always been pretty shy, and was able to hide behind the older members louder personalities when a lot of their earliest vlog/talker content came out he is always going to be the hardest to know. That early content was so much looser and allowed them to show a ridiculous amount of themselves because the stakes were kinda lower, but he was literally still a child then and the little brother space he occupied was a natural role at that time. So much of his personality has probably formed under the conditions of being an idol and one part of an increasingly popular group, so I think the public persona/inner self thing could be complex. It's clear there is so much more to him that he is comfortable to express publicly. That's why I think the point they dgaf so much any more because they occupy an industry veteran space and feel secure in their success will be so interesting to see. I'm also confident the rest of SKZ will always gas him up and encourage him to occupy more space in the group/have solo pursuits whenever he should choose, as they always do for each other. To be clear, I don't think he's being shoeboxed by the others or by design (beyond the culturally embedded age hierarchy ofc). Aight, that's enough postulating rn ✌
Lee Know and Changbin are AMAZING MCs for these 2 Kids Show episodes. They both are deeply insightful when it comes to the other members. They have completely different styles, to be sure, but they are excellent hosts. I think they both contribute a lot to each episode in the way they guide the conversations.
Lee Know is actually well known to be a host and conducting such kind of shows and he is more than comfortable with what he does and does his job as a pro😊 He is always very sarcastic , I guess it is just his thing but such a caring and selfless person with the ones he loves)) We still should understand that these are not them in real life but them being more forward or flirty for the sake of the show. Hyunjin said himself that they overdo things in front of the camera, but they all act more chill and natural in their real life. They all are pros at what they do with strong connection with one another❤

Conversations like in this 2kids Show builds connections --- communicating is all about the other person, how you make the other person feel, how you listen to what the other person is saying, etc. And, just like you said, when people feel heard and understood, they will appreciate you, open and honest communication happens, and true connections are built.
I believe IN once said that he was called scary and ugly without a smile in school? mayby. So he uses his serious facial expression mostly on stage, while acting for parts of the performance. Other than that he is smiling not to worry kids and stays even if smt is wrong( Thanks for your videos ❤
Max you're a Han bias, getting bias-wrecked by Lee know is common place (practically expected). I myself am a Lee know bias who gets wrecked by Han wayyy too often.
I think that you would have a very interesting time watching NCT’s “It’s awkward but it’s ok” series. NCT is a huge group with a lot of members and so some of them are not as close with each other despite being in the same group and the series was a way for those not so close members to interact and begin to come closer.
i'm not sure where/when, but i have it in my head that i.n once said his friends told him his resting face was intimidating, so he started smiling more? if someone could correct me pls if i'm wrong. but it could also just be the other way around that he naturally smiles so much that it looks odd when he's fully serious haha
10:51 You just unlocked something about Lee Know's personality here. I'm not really that deep into Stray Kids just yet so this is sort of enlightening to me. It kinda makes me understand Lee Know a bit more. Also, that is actually somehow relatable. I think I'm that type of person too and I don't really like that about myself. I know it's not a bad thing but it makes me sad in a way. Knowing people care about you but not being able to digest that fact and properly receive it is like a curse. Knowing that Lee Know is somewhat like that tho slightly more open than I am, makes me appreciate him more and understand why I'm drawn to him and find him relatable despite the lots of differences we have. In addition, what you said about not deflecting compliments especially coming from a person that knows you is healing to the soul? I wish that would come off easy for me someday. I honestly don't know where my aversion of compliments and difficulty of fully letting people in came from and it's frustrating because it doesn't just affect me; it also affects the people that cares about me. I watched this vid to learn more about SKZ yet here I am... 😅

The first time I saw how talented Leeknow was actually as an MC. While Changbin was good, I saw that he dominated the entire conversation in the first episode by his own thoughts and not letting the members speak much. Leeknow asks the questions, picks on important points, adds his own jokes and flirting and lets the members speak as much as they should. In comparison at least, I found him much better tbh. But Changbin improved over the course for sure!
I think something that might offer you more insight on I.N is his guest appearance on the Lee Mujin service. (Han also has an appearance in a different episode, he's kind of mindblowing) if you haven't reacted already i recommend !!!
I was watching MinSung ep of 2 kids when I bumped with your Title. Got curious and like my curiosity when I first saw lee know getting pissed of with his outfit. And I did not regret either. Anyway, I love how you see through every tiny details of what they're talking and their personality. You are one of the most accurate on explaining Lee Know's personality and Hyunjin. Though for IN, he used to be serious and wanted to be treated as big brother but gave up.😅😅 He accepted his Maknae role coz he mentioned that people get intimidated of him.
Lee Know is naturally charismatic- he is the guy that attracts you with his model-grade looks and then you talk to him and he is so confident, endearing and witty- effortlessly cool that he is a people magnet. His members have said everybody loves Lee Know and I get it- This along with his quick wit and cleverness make him a great MC!

I always feel that I.N is really insecure, that's why the Kids try to make him feel cherished and loved all the times. But in some videos you can see how he struggles to look more matures. We need to take care of him❤

It takes a lot of effort for someone to worm their way through that to become a trusted friend after fame hits someone (not talking from a famous perspective, but I have managed to make friends with some people who have had at least 15 minutes of fame, and boy howdy, did that take a TON of work.) So, given that Hyunjin is incredibly introverted, shy, and ... untrusting is the wrong word, but "not inclined to jump into trust" is awfully long... ;) But anyway, because of who Hyunjin is, his personality, and some of the things we know have happened from or in his past, having a small circle of really close friends, that he knows will rip apart the world for him, and will also tell him the truth without sugarcoating it... he's not going to be as open to communicating outside of that group. Even with Stays, it's very possible to see the "Fame" mask that he uses. (That one I'm really familiar with. Not "fame" obviously, but I used to perform in front of the public and there is definitely a thick mask and armour that you put on when your personality is not particularly outgoing, trusting, or extroverted.) Thanks for the reaction. I'll be waiting for the next one! (And especially for the reaction to the Han and Lee Know episode, which I found absolutely incredibly interesting from just a body language perspective.)
11:33 It's interesting that you say that about Lee Know and Han (that Han isnt too much in LK space and LK likes that). Because in their 2Kids Show episode, LK said Han was his "vacation house" where he can go to find comfort then leave for a while 😂 You may find that episode interesting too!

Something about I.N is that when he was younger he was told he had to smile because if he didn’t others would call him a monster. I feel that that kinda contributes how he treats serious conversion. He doesn’t want them to think he doesn’t care. But of course I.N looks always pretty and is the cutest maknae possible no matter what he does❤
4:13 I wonder that about I.N. too. He seems like a genuinely happy person, but I also think that he does put on a smile even when he might not feel like smiling. Not in a disingenuous way, but in a way that maybe he's not comfortable with sharing his negative emotions.
6:10 I wonder this about KPOP idols in general. I wonder if they love the "labels" or "boxes" (i.e. maknae, sunshine, rabbit, baby, etc) that the industry and fans place on them. Or, if over time, those labels/boxes/etc feel like they are hindering their personal growth as they get older and change like we all do.
Jeongin is very similar to Lino in a lot of ways, including the fact that he can be serious about a situation for a moment and then completely deviate into a silly joke..
I love these videos. I agree with you about I.N. I've always felt like there's more to him than what he shows on camera, maybe he just doesnt like sharing much to the public eye, but its nice that he has the guys and that the guys seem to actually know his real self, at least according to what hyunjin said, which is (as you said) something we wouldn't expect just by observing IN on camera. Im really curious about him.
Also i think it was nice of him to talk about how he feels when singing solo songs in contrast to how he feels when singing with stray kids. It´s nice that he shared that.

I think something that informed my view of IN early on was his two kids room episode with Changbin where Changbin said he asks Jeongin for advice bcs he knows the advice will be straightforward and blunt (if I'm remembering correctly). I really got the impression that Changbin respects Jeongin's thoughts and point of view, bcs regardless of how the advice is given it must've been good advice. They've also said they sometimes have the dynamic where the maknaes seem older and more mature than the hyungs. I feel that they've always spoken of Jeongin as being much more than the easy breezy spoiled maknae, and you can see that about him, but their content isn't necessarily going to capture the way he is in private or more intimate settings. He wants their content to be fun to watch, so he smiles and plays along
Actually Lee Know is super smart, very sharp and quick thinker. On his bubble (chat app with STAYS), once in a while he does ‘DJ Lee Know’ which he reads STAY’s comment in real time and give smart super funny answers, and applause 👏 . The speed is so fast and what he writes is so unique and smart. I really love Lee Know for his quick sharp brain.

Regarding I.N and smiling: I don't think Innie takes serious topics any less serious - I'd say he's one of the more serious members in general, and yes, very empathetic, even though maybe quiet about it. He trained himself to smile more early on *because* of his serious face that was pointed out to him a lot, so I think by now it's just a reflex when he talks and listens, a response he doesn't really think about because it's so ingrained. Not fake because it's not a decision but unconscious imo. I, for example, do also smile when I'm talking about serious or painful things because it makes it easier to actually talk about it somehow. That doesn't really take away from the depth or earnestness of the conversation, though, and I'm sure the guys know that :3
I.N is the member I am kinda the most curious about how he will present in the future (at a BTS or even SHINee point in their careers 🤞). I think because he is the youngest, he's always been pretty shy, and was able to hide behind the older members louder personalities when a lot of their earliest vlog/talker content came out he is always going to be the hardest to know. That early content was so much looser and allowed them to show a ridiculous amount of themselves because the stakes were kinda lower, but he was literally still a child then and the little brother space he occupied was a natural role at that time.
So much of his personality has probably formed under the conditions of being an idol and one part of an increasingly popular group, so I think the public persona/inner self thing could be complex. It's clear there is so much more to him that he is comfortable to express publicly. That's why I think the point they dgaf so much any more because they occupy an industry veteran space and feel secure in their success will be so interesting to see.
I'm also confident the rest of SKZ will always gas him up and encourage him to occupy more space in the group/have solo pursuits whenever he should choose, as they always do for each other. To be clear, I don't think he's being shoeboxed by the others or by design (beyond the culturally embedded age hierarchy ofc). Aight, that's enough postulating rn ✌

Lee Know and Changbin are AMAZING MCs for these 2 Kids Show episodes. They both are deeply insightful when it comes to the other members.
They have completely different styles, to be sure, but they are excellent hosts. I think they both contribute a lot to each episode in the way they guide the conversations.
Lee Know is actually well known to be a host and conducting such kind of shows and he is more than comfortable with what he does and does his job as a pro😊 He is always very sarcastic , I guess it is just his thing but such a caring and selfless person with the ones he loves)) We still should understand that these are not them in real life but them being more forward or flirty for the sake of the show. Hyunjin said himself that they overdo things in front of the camera, but they all act more chill and natural in their real life. They all are pros at what they do with strong connection with one another❤
Lee Know is the best! He is such a perfect MC. He only adds (rather than takes away) to the interview/content.

Conversations like in this 2kids Show builds connections --- communicating is all about the other person, how you make the other person feel, how you listen to what the other person is saying, etc. And, just like you said, when people feel heard and understood, they will appreciate you, open and honest communication happens, and true connections are built.

I think that you would have a very interesting time watching NCT’s “It’s awkward but it’s ok” series. NCT is a huge group with a lot of members and so some of them are not as close with each other despite being in the same group and the series was a way for those not so close members to interact and begin to come closer.
i'm not sure where/when, but i have it in my head that i.n once said his friends told him his resting face was intimidating, so he started smiling more? if someone could correct me pls if i'm wrong. but it could also just be the other way around that he naturally smiles so much that it looks odd when he's fully serious haha
10:51 You just unlocked something about Lee Know's personality here. I'm not really that deep into Stray Kids just yet so this is sort of enlightening to me. It kinda makes me understand Lee Know a bit more.
Also, that is actually somehow relatable. I think I'm that type of person too and I don't really like that about myself. I know it's not a bad thing but it makes me sad in a way. Knowing people care about you but not being able to digest that fact and properly receive it is like a curse. Knowing that Lee Know is somewhat like that tho slightly more open than I am, makes me appreciate him more and understand why I'm drawn to him and find him relatable despite the lots of differences we have.
In addition, what you said about not deflecting compliments especially coming from a person that knows you is healing to the soul? I wish that would come off easy for me someday. I honestly don't know where my aversion of compliments and difficulty of fully letting people in came from and it's frustrating because it doesn't just affect me; it also affects the people that cares about me.

The first time I saw how talented Leeknow was actually as an MC. While Changbin was good, I saw that he dominated the entire conversation in the first episode by his own thoughts and not letting the members speak much. Leeknow asks the questions, picks on important points, adds his own jokes and flirting and lets the members speak as much as they should. In comparison at least, I found him much better tbh. But Changbin improved over the course for sure!

I was watching MinSung ep of 2 kids when I bumped with your Title. Got curious and like my curiosity when I first saw lee know getting pissed of with his outfit. And I did not regret either. Anyway, I love how you see through every tiny details of what they're talking and their personality. You are one of the most accurate on explaining Lee Know's personality and Hyunjin. Though for IN, he used to be serious and wanted to be treated as big brother but gave up.😅😅 He accepted his Maknae role coz he mentioned that people get intimidated of him.

Lee Know is naturally charismatic- he is the guy that attracts you with his model-grade looks and then you talk to him and he is so confident, endearing and witty- effortlessly cool that he is a people magnet. His members have said everybody loves Lee Know and I get it- This along with his quick wit and cleverness make him a great MC!
