Your lectures are really nice. I am working at hospital as a nurse in Korea. These day I always study your youTube. It is very fun. I understand about disease easily. Thank you so much.

Thank you so much for these videos; specifically "Chronic Cough, PFT etc. I've experienced almost annual Bronchial Pneumonia or Bronchitis and chronic coughing lasting 3 - 4 months. 2 prescriptions of Antibiotics this year (Jan. Mar. 2015), I am resisting family pressure and the traditional medicine approach to go for a third. I've joined a private clinic which practices an integrated medicine approach and we're investigating the 3 pronged causality outlined in your Chronic Cough video. I, at last, have hope. Thank you again.
I had my test today being honest for me it wasn't easy deep breath in and fast out left me feeling dizzy and my eyes went funny i didn't enjoy it .so she made me then take my blue and pink inhalers wait 10 mins and do it again .and she said test was much better she didn't give me result it's sat today and she said call my doctor on Monday and they will explain talk about leaving someone to worry
'25 as good as your lung function will ever be'. I started sighing again, akin to involuntary taking these deep breaths. Last time I did that I was 15 (and had pretty good lungs)
It would be great if you could do a video about reading ECGs. It's hard to find someone who makes this subject easy. Thank you for your videos, they're very helpful!
Beautiful explanations: better than my med school physio professor. By the way what software are you using? It just looks cool. Please do more of this because you have an excellent/logical way of explaining things.
Thank you for making this video. I am studying medicine in country where english is not their native language. They promise to teach in english but it’s not 😔 so again, thank you finally i understand about this
Not complaining that there are three parts... Just wondering what was going on.. Haven't watched the videos yet but I ve watched other videos on your channel an they re great!!!
1.Fvc is 119% pred 2. Fev1 is 108% pred 3. Fev1/fvc is 91% pred 4. FEF 25-75 is 61%pred 5. PEFR IS 94 IS 4TH VALUE IS OKK?? actually i feel chocking throat in air flight. And i also have needle pain in chest 3-4 times in a day for 2 - 3 second Echo 60% EF TMT is also okay.. what should i do for recognising my problem.. is it okk or not showing
Hi Dr Roger good day to you I'm working on a project which requires me to do spirometry test on individuals exposed to cement dust and make conclusions. However my spirometer only gives the PEF and FEV1 values . Please tell me how I can use these values to make conclusions and any health problems with the test subjects. Please I really need your help .
Is it possible for someone who has very mild breathing problems to be able to pass the test ? Or is it super strict to the point where if you have even a slight amount of breathing issues you’ll fail the test ?
Correlations between C-ACT scores and pulmonary function test results were poor for children aged 5 to11 years with asthma. FEV1, FVC, FEF25, FEF50, FEF75, and PEFR were not significantly correlated with C-ACT scores. To Predicting PEFR/FVC/FEF50/FEF75 Check Our Medical Calculator www.pediatriconcall.com/calculators/predicting-pefr-fvc-fef50-fef75
If you want accuracy, measure height with a stadiometer. 90% of patients, if asked, add several inches to their true height. Since stadiometers are rarely used, height, along with respiratory rate, are two of the least accurate measurements in the physical exam.
I honestly don’t believe ethnicity plays a major role in studies such as these. Reason being is that everyone has a different genetic pool regardless of them being Black, White, Hispanic or Asian.
Hello, the rest of this course is available at www.MedCram.com Some updates have been made to this course, but unfortunately we aren't able to update/annotate our videos on this platform. Please reach out to us at customers@medcram.com with any questions.
So what you're saying is that a person who's abnormal at that graph level you showed wouldn't be able to put on a full face mask with dust filters and go 8 hours is that correct, or even having a blasting respirator mask with airfed wouldn't be able to work 8 hours is that correct minus the 10 minutes for break half an hour for lunch 10 minutes for break again are you saying that person is unfit unable so that person's not abnormal that person's handicapped am I right.

Excellent explanation. I'm having the first PFT I've had in 38 years, since I was diagnosed with asthma at age 15.

Mind blowing how weight is not a factor in determining the FVC test

So far so good! Thanks I have been looking for logical explanations!
Thanks. I'm not a medical student, but I'm getting a pulmonary function test tomorrow and it's nice to know what will be going on.

What if you are out of shape?
Excellent videos. Thank you so much. What did we do before You Tube?

What about weight in PFT ??
you have made it easy.great,indeed.
perfect

Why are the rest of the PFTs videos private? 🙁
Why are there 3 different PFT videos?? Are there 3 parts?
Amazing very informative
Title of this video is misleading -.-
Hi. Most of the videos in playlist are labled as "Private Video" and are not played. Please Help

Hi, I can't find the rest of the 5 on your channel
Also looking for access to the videos, they were a great reference but are now listed as private. Any assistance is appreciated. Thank you.
THANK YOU SO MUCH ^_^ .
I second that!
Wouldn't weight also play a role? And what about multiracial people?
Grant dumas weight does actually play a role i guess he forgot about it.
Wouldn’t your 80% fall under the 3 standard deviations ? So in the 99% ?
So what you're saying is that a person who's abnormal at that graph level you showed wouldn't be able to put on a full face mask with dust filters and go 8 hours is that correct, or even having a blasting respirator mask with airfed wouldn't be able to work 8 hours is that correct minus the 10 minutes for break half an hour for lunch 10 minutes for break again are you saying that person is unfit unable so that person's not abnormal that person's handicapped am I right.

I pray for the day race is out of the conversation completely!
Wua you the jest techet
Gender or sex?? I have a lot of trans friends
Bs
Why you gotta be racist??? Huh?? you’re discriminating my lungs 🫁 because I’m black??
If we ignore known differences then we call disease when there really isn’t. This labels minorities with diseases that they don’t have. That’s racist.
