I agree 100% with this energy thing. When I was eating junkfood and getting sicker every day, I had literally no energy to go for a walk, and mood swings. When I stopped eating bread, seed oils and highly processed junk, and increased the amount of meat and liver in my diet, now I have much more energy which I sometimes don't know what to do with ;D and this is a positive energy. I don't have to force myself to go for a walk, I simply want to go for a walk, every day. Meat is life

The physical activity can make you sleep worse, I was doing kung fu lessons and it was such hard work that it was hard to fall asleep in the evening after training. Also if you already do some physical activity at work it would be nonsense to do extra work in your day off, as you need to rest the body. Sitting down all the time is bad but also extreme physical activity can be very detrimental. I think the best things to sleep well for me have been 1) stop alcohol 2) reduce sugar and carbohydrates, eat more healthy meat proteins and omega 3) stop caffeine 4) sleep the right amount and not during the day 5) take sun 6) walk or do some normal physical activity, without stressing the body too much.

That's because your trainings were in evening. So, you had high cortisol levels, that prevented you to fall asleep. I've had similar problems when my Krav Maga or Muay Thai trainings were late, even at 8 p.m.

I would say the number of affecting factors is numerous, e.g. low testosterone, bad diet, lack of deep sleep, depression, anxiety, lack of motivating life goals, lack of a relationship with a wife / partner, relentless onslaught of nihilistic social media, terrible daily job. This is just a selection and there are many more, depending on the person's own situation.

Basically, any form of stress induces Cortisol, and that hormone especially triggers the issues you mentioned in your comment, and indeed a bad diet will only make it all that much worse. The problem is a lot of people are such brainwashed slaves, that they don't even realize they are stressed, because they have become conditioned to believe that stress is normal, natural, healthy and just a "part of life". That's why people are so messed up, and especially so in the US.

There is a point of diminishing returns with exercise and there is a point where you can do too much. Obviously humans “want” to be sedentary and would “prefer” not to exercise, and you can certainly do that to a degree and still live a long life but if you do not use your muscles at all, obviously they will atrophy. And to say you will look your best with zero exercise is foolish, especially as you age. This all or nothing mentality is damaging. Look at the okinawans for examples of people who live long lives while doing light, sensible exercise each day. You don’t need to train like a warrior if that’s not your thing, but exercising will improve your mood and is a substance-free way of doing both that and improving your appearance.

@@spikestoyouwe were not all sedentary. Some ethnicities were nomadic and active. Some were pastoralists and adapted to that lifestyle. Most were sedentary yes, but even then with some patterns of migration and resettling. Sedentary almost makes it seem like we weren’t doing much of anything for 1000’s of years when that’s the opposite of true.
This is not to say I endorse overdoing it with activity, but our bodies are supposed to be limber, nimble and robust to a degree too which requires some flexibility (stretching), agility (warming up), and endurance (walking/etc)

Coffea Arabica is native to Ethiopia and produces cherries. Each cherry contains 2 seed pits which we know as coffee beans. Would you consider Tai Chi exercise? I don't mind what you say, I'm going to do it anyway because I love channeling my Chi. I experience it as effortlessly moving. Also, Okinawa is a blue zone and they eat a lot of animal fats. I believe people in the East know their stuff. That was random, but get this: since I eat meat (and continued Tai Chi) my joints move so much better! It's a joy to practice the internal martial art(s).

I made the same argument on another of his videos. Many people don't understand that it's not exercise that's the problem; it's exercising too much or too strenuously that's the problem. The eastern arts like Tai Chi and QiGong, and some forms of Yoga, build energy reserves in the body, while western forms, like working out at the gym, deplete energy. It sounds like you get it!

people with poor endurance will get tired from very little movement. People with good endurance will take long to become tired. I don't think just eating a lot of good food is enough to feel energetic, at least not during activity. A person needs to be physically fit so that regular activity doesn't deplete you unnecessarily quickly. Being stronger, while staying lower body weight, makes everything feel easy and nothing is tiring anymore. Being weak and heavy or even weak and light will make everything feel taxing. I definitely don't disagree with the food stuff but the sedentary is a bit limited in scope. Being sedentary will definitely help retain calories/energy since you're not expending it. That's obviously true. But your sense of energy and readiness and how long you feel that way during any activity is dependent on how fit/strong/endurant you are. So I agree with goatis but I'd add that being strong and capable makes everything feel effortless and so your energy never goes down if you're eating proper food.

It is enough. As an example, I rarely have to hike up hills to film videos but when I do, I never feel out of breath and can go for long hikes whereas people around me, who do it often, are exhausted.
If you are talking about adapting to something unnatural like going to the gym then yes, the one who works out a lot will have an easier time doing it obviously but the thing is that there's no reason to get adapted to it in the first place. It has no benefits and only decreases your lifespan.

@bigDONGenergy - For me, absolutely, yes! I do the more gentle forms of yoga, and especially QiGong. I just had a Heart Rate Variability test at the doctor and she said my HRV is excellent, which indicates a healthy autonomic nervous system, better equipped to handle adversity. And I have an auto-immune illness that hardly anyone ever recovers from and I am still improving. The key is not to push yourself to the point of exhaustion, but if you are weak or ill, which many people are nowadays, build up your energy reserves slowly, avoiding Hot Yoga or Power Yoga. You also don't have to do a long session all at once. For instance, I do 15 minutes of QiGong in the morning and a more relaxing set of QiGong or Yoga, 15 minutes, in the evening to help relax my body for sleep.

Sweat and excretion is a way for the body to expunge the toxins from your body (and cool you down), so what you eat has an impact on how you smell. I know I used to smell really bad and hated the way I smelt when I drank copious amounts of soda. What? Vegetables toxic? I'm not a vegetarian, and I don't believe that's healthy for most of us, but neither is going to the opposite extreme and eating all meat. I recall going to visit some relatives who were heavy meat eaters, and they ate meat pretty much every meal. I was so very stopped up and my stomach hurt terribly. It took about three days before my digestion returned to normal once I went home. If you actually saw them, you would not think that was such a healthy way to eat.
Again, exercise per se is not the problem, if you exercise smart. Eastern exercise, like QiGong, builds energy reserves, whereas Western exercise depletes it.
