To be productive, you need to work smarter, not harder. Managing your 168 (the number of hours you have in a week) can be difficult. Managing multiple 168s can be maddening. For people who handle multiple people and responsibilities, it can all get overwhelming. If you're busy in all facets of your life, the tendency is to take it all on...at the same time.
And as long as you're productive and earning money, don't forget to invest because investing creates a safe haven for the future.

    • @Ame_rodri
      @Ame_rodri Рік тому +2

Yes, I agree with you on that, because after being productive you definitely get funds from it and to keep the funds flowing without stress, when you have to focus more on investing because it is the key to living better.

My most productive work life hack is to work early in the morning, at my office (not home), before checking any email, voicemail, text, chat. I’m usually the first one there and I can really buckle down in the quiet to get a lot done. Btw, I’m an introvert 😊

    • @xin8318
      @xin8318 Рік тому +2

Dear Kim - there is no shame in being an introvert- many people waste too many of those seconds that Jim referred to earlier in the video, trying to remain relevant to other people. That consumes a huge amount of brain energy.

I'm software engineer and I work remotely. What helps me be productive throughout the day is that I get to love the tasks I'm asked to do, like they are some sort of entertainement for me. That helps me loose stress.
Today, I have a task to upgrade an application server in production for a client. I find it joyful just by starting to gather the requirements in order to do the migration. Like in a video game for example, where you have to search for items or ingredients or complete a quest in order to be able to have the power needed to win a challenge and move forward.

Tauheedah here - Wow! That was so good Jim, Thank you so much! What moves the needle for me, my productively hack:
Getting up super early 4am, because I feel more prepared and I can do more in a day.
Going to bed 2-3hrs before deep sleep so I can unwind and relax and write in my journal and plan for the next day.
I love deep work sessions and snack breaks
Love working when its bright light, sun-shinning outside-not always possible but I push through
    Getting 8hours of sleep
Seeing and feeling progress for example when working out when I
feel the pain in my abs, things that bother me don't bother me as much anymore-Seeing Growth
And a winning day is when: I study my bible, workout and deep work session in a day. When I get a lot done, I am super pumped, my superpower!
Thank you in advance for reading my long message.

What keeps me going is truly hydration. As simple as it sounds, it keeps me going the most while working from home. It keeps me from mindlessly eating. I have to take brain breaks to refill. It’s good for digestion since I sit most of the day, and obviously it keeps me hydrated. I try to alternate from hot and cold beverages to keep it interesting.

My worst habit is that I’m watching this in my home office while working at home…😂
My best habit though is that I recently learned how to set my iPhone so that I can’t get notifications and can’t use apps for the first 3 hours of my day so that I can only focus on the tasks in front of me (other than a few exceptions like texts from my wife or emergency phone calls). It actually helps a great deal with my focus (as that and my memory are the qualities where I need the most work).

Great video I watched this multiple times and kept learning something new 😊
What moves the needle for me is my timer on my phone.
So if I really need to focus on a task or project to achieve at least my mini goal of it, I put an hour on my timer of my phone display it next to my pc/monitor to keep me focus cause I see the clock ticking down tells me finish whatever you have left then stop for the day or if I feel I can push 1 more hour then I will. I just need to commit doing this daily but at least it’s pushing me to move forward vs procrastinating and making excuses.
Or like you said change my environment to get something done. So I book a private room at a library for blocks of time and it’s free!

My hack I suppose is using a list (preferably written) but I never really paid attention I just know at some point during the day or week it will click and then make a list and then lock in.
I procrastinate and then get down on myself because like you said I am lacking awareness in this by not being organized. Thank you!
Needed clarity and will try to add to my life.

Breathing and visual focusing techniques are my most optimal brainstate focusing routines. Doing it properly is on par with illegal stimulants but without the side effects. And you don't need to practice it a lot to implement it, you just need a few minutes the first time and then it is set.

just killing it Jim! my productivity hack is probably using VR headsets like the quest 2 and using their "Virtual offices" to work with other people while streaming your laptop screen into the headset. This app called Immersed has an environment where the music goes with the beats. Plus there is a community that does timed poromodos together when we are all in the Discord server. Work is not as lonely no more that's for sure!

Also, putting on a familiar EDM album with a driving rhythm helps the brain get into flow without having to reprocess/parse the music again. Deadmaus or Leftfield work well for me.

Create a dedicated workspace free from distractions, and establish a routine that works for you. Take breaks when needed, and prioritize self-care to maintain your well-being. I've never seen anything compared to Mrs. Ferguson's trading performance. She has helped me earned $7,520 with an invested capital of $2,300 in seven days. her strategies are mind blowing.

The title on the thumbnail should match the title of the video after you click on it. The expectation is a video on being "productive all day", but the video begins stating that it is specifically about working from home or maybe while traveling. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Appreciate these videos so much! Your explanations are simple to understand, practical and inspires that feeling of wanting to do it, not just watching the video, feeling inspired and then procrastinating the next day. I tend to focus on many things with no structure in place even though I attempt to but I've recently looked at what Im doing with my time and what actually brings value to my life and your videos help alot with getting an idea of that because your content definitely brings value.I appreciate your work so much and I wish you well on your journey changing 1 life at a time! You are definitely changing mine and I'm excited to go on this journey..I'm a big fan.

For me it is tremendously helptful to consume all content at least at 2x speed.
One day an epiphany overcame me and I just started watching at 1.25x, some I could directly watch at 1.5 or even 1.75x speed.
Now after months I am even able to watch some ppl at 3x and it really really helps me as I have been living with depression for a long time and had somehow trouble concentrating my whole life which got even worse over time.
And years ago I even wondered why one would even want to consume content at faster speeds tho having shorter gaps between the words really is key for me being able to focus more : D
Oh and this combined with audiobooks has really really helped me a lot! I went from not consuming books because I was not able to read them without getting super mega tired while at the same time having all kinds of negative thought-speed-trains rushing trough my head to having listened to so many books in the last two years it is hard to remember them all!! Makes me super grateful!

Bro I hate to break it to you but 3x speed doesn’t sound healthy in my opinion 😂 you can’t take it in and process that information properly with that speed (this comes from a person who also listens to things faster)
