Seiko Prospex introduces the Black Series Speedtimer Solar Chronograph-a timepiece designed for life's adventurers. Seiko Prospex embraces challenges with technological prowess and winning aesthetics. Following the success of last year's limited edition, this dramatic watch is part of a high-intensity collection inspired by the 1969 "Speedtimer," the world's pioneering self-winding chronograph.
As an extension of the Black Series, it features the newly developed "Green LumiBrite Pro," designed for divers, offering higher brightness and an extended afterglow. This exceptional timepiece delivers a "night vision" akin to a night scope's view in the dark. The chronograph measures elapsed time up to 60 minutes in 1/5-second increments, incorporating a split-time function. The solar cell, powered by any light source, ensures a 6-month power reserve when fully charged, eliminating the need for battery changes.
The dark gray dial boasts three black subdials, a 24-hour indicator, power reserve indicator, date calendar, and green LumiBrite on hands, markers, and the chronograph hand's tip. Crafted from stainless steel with a black hard coating, it features a curved anti-reflective sapphire crystal, black tachymeter bezel, secure screwdown caseback, and a tapered three-link bracelet with a tri-fold push-button release clasp. Water-resistant up to 10 bar or 100 meters, it's ready for any aquatic adventure.
