Ever wonder when you should apply vitamin c, or how much you should so you see results? You are not alone. In my experience, it's best to use vitamin c first after exfoliation or toning (especially if its a good formula. )The reason being that you want to allow the C to protect and preserve your skin and cause a mild exfoliation.
If you are not seeling results form your current C, then step it up and use a bit more and spend time massaging it into the skin and allow it to fully absorb before applying your next product. Give this a try and let me know what you notice.

I first saw this video a year ago and it changed how I applied products, including Vit C, and the results have been incredible. Never has a tip I found on UA-cam worked so well (massaging cleanser for a minute before rinsing is a close second!). Thank you!
I absolutely love your tutorial on how to apply vitamin C serum. I was told initially only to use a couple drops and it seemed my face would absorb it so quickly. Now I know that it's safe to apply more and in thin layers and to gently rub it in. Loves your video. Thanks so much.❤🍊

Our skin especially more mature photo aged skin requires a more intense "WAKE-UP CALL" IF !!! Hey Cody. I would like to know what other products you would recommend using on top of the Vitamin C? I am an older woman with dry skin and other age-related issues. Thank you for your great videos! Will Vitamin C be just as effective if I use it every other day? I have the Ordinary Buffet with Copper peptides and was thinking of using it on alternate days as I believe you can’t mix them. I’ve learned something new today- I’ve did it all wrong. I’ve been applying my Vit C after I wash my face leaving it damp, then press in like 5 drops that I rub in my hands then SPF.🤦♀️ Thanks very much for this information.

I’ve always liked applying my products on damp skin but since I started to incorporate vitamin C into my routine, I’m assuming the skin has to be completely dry before applying which is taking a little getting used to. I just don’t like the “dried out” feeling on my skin after cleansing 😩
Oh I feel you and I couldn’t agree more. It really depends on the formula. If you were spending good money on a vitamin C you definitely want to work it into the skin and put it on dry skin if possible unless it has a lot of water in the formulation which dries up quickly

I would suggest looking into the Glycolic cream and Beauty Elixir for the eye area to condition and improve you concerns. They are active so adjust on what feels best and start slow. These products can be used all over the face to treat. I would also suggest looking at the Retinol which is repairing and regenerating. Would love to hear your feedback if you decide to try 🙏

I love to have the Vit C on the skin. I tried to use it purchased fr department store. I got skin irritation on tested areas (chin, arm). Either raise bumpy acne or bumpy chicken skin. Can you please do short vid ? Thank you

Thank you so much for this valuable information. I am using vitamin c serum right now and seeing results but am often a little confused about when and in what order to apply it . Makeup seems to fade off quite quickly but I assume that’s due to the exfoliating effect of the vitamin c . Anyway I appreciate your input 🙂
Thank you for watching. Vitamin c would be good to apply after cleansing on dry skin. It’s good to allow it to absorb before using your daytime moisturizer with spf. It may help to let it penetrate or also using a light powder before a cream or liquid to add texture for foundation to adhere. A setting spray may help at the end to seal everything in

I thought the order was wash, tone, hyaluronic acid, then vitamin c, magnesium, folic acid, peptides, oils (like kiwi or coconut), retin a or retinol, eye cream, lotion, and lastly-sunscreen. Is that not correct? You are just the absolute best I’ve ever watched for skincare and you are beautiful! I just want to be using all my products in the correct and most beneficial order for my skin. I’m 47 and basically have the driest skin in the world. Blonde hair, blue eyes and fair skin. Never had acne or any skin problems, except that it’s like the Sahara Desert, no matter what I do. And I’ve done it all. It’s a tough fix because of the way it has developed. I’ve spent the last 19 years fighting a terminal illness, with the majority of that time spent in the hospital fighting for my life. Hospital air (totally dry) and dead kidneys (I’ve had four transplants in the last 19 years) only add to my dry skin. I simply wish to look like I would have if I hadn’t gotten sick all those years ago. Anything you can help with would mean more to me than just about anybody could ever comprehend. I lost what should have been the best years of my life to transplants, 27 major surgeries all together, comas, flatlines, and worse than any of that/being taken away from my children when they needed me most. I’m home most of the time now, thankful for each and every second, and maybe it sounds shallow that I still care about my looks. But sometimes, just glancing in the mirror makes me fall apart and is a constant reminder of the pain I’ve suffered during the last 19 years. Any advice on what order to use these products-and I have them all-would be appreciated more than words can explain.

HoustonT E that’s incorrect, keep it simple. I recommend Susan yara’s channel for you. Also avoid coconut oil if you have acne prone skin.
N PAULa Thanks for your input, but I’ve never had acne prone skin. Not a single breakout in 47 years. Coconut oil is beautiful as a cleanser for me. And all of those products have made my skin better. I’m simply asking his opinion on the order and frequency of application for extremely dry skin.
Hi! Oh wow thank you for sharing, you’ve been on your toes quite a lot with your health which absolutely effects your skin. I’m sorry to hear you’ve been going through pain, I hope each day gets a little better. You’re tough hang in there. For skincare less is more, it’s best to layer from lightest to heaviest in consistency. I like vitamin c first as I want my skin to get those benefits. You can do hyaluronic before but let it absorb well before C. You can also spread your products to do am or pm.

Cleanse, tone, hyaluronic, vitamin C, spf
Pm
Cleanse or exfoliate, vit.c, serums, peptides, retinoids last.
Retinol can be used alone on some nights.
Have fun with the different combo to see what feels best. I do have a few videos for dry skin, hope that helps as well. Oil cleansing is wonderful along with spraying mists on top of masks
