The certificate at the end got me a job at a AAA game studio. He rejected me initially but as I was walking out of the interview, he stopped me and said "hey...how fast did you learn Niagara?" I said "it only took me 300 seconds" then I showed him this certificate. When he saw it, he was blown away and hired me on the spot. Now I'm literally swimming in money because I'm so rich from my role as a Niagara VFX artist. i'm never going back to the ghetto again thanks to this video. I'm about to buy solid gold salt and pepper shakers for my kitchen.
I sincerely hope (and probably everyone else who's here) that you can keep making these condenses, clear and amazingly informative tutorials. They are absolutely fantastic!
I automatically subbed you and anyone who produces Unreal Engine content in youtube or elsewhere online. Great Niagara fluid and particle simulation overview is what i needed to be. Im always searching great UE content online 24/7 and like every single UE tutorial that im aware of.
I'm predicting that you will be a top Unreal Engine UA-camr very soon. With this level of quality of video and information, Its just a matter of time before you see serious success!!
We'll be covering a range of game development aspects, mostly targeting UE5, as that's what we specialize in. p.s. we'll be covering lots of niagara :)
Hello About possibility of Niagara We can change particle inside Niagara for: - plane, sphere and so on. Why there is no possibility to set a simple light sourse as a niagara particle? I don't kno how or it will be in future? 1. May be to make some lifehack and to attach simple light sourse to niagara's particle using blueprint? 2. May be somebody can easily realize it in C++? 3. May be attach light sourse to nia' particle for lifespan and detatch later? What do you seriuosly think? Realizing this idea will help to create real flame illumination -wow!!!!
Clear explanation, amazing illustration, no redundant information, no awkward pauses, live examples given. You've nailed every single aspect of it, half the video i was just in awe with how well you pulled them all off :') Looking forward to more of your Niagara content.
Cool! - Can i use niagara emmiter as a light? - As if every niagara particle can lightens room? In order to get dynamic illumination - for example animated-torch-flame illumination
Hello, That is the plan! However there will first be a beginner friendly video, which will include a a comprehensive walkthrough of creating an effect, as well as how to analyze the performance and then optimize the effect using different culling methods and gpu integration :)
@@MyGameDevPal that sounds awesome. Also, I’m just wondering something, if I had a particle beam, how would I make it follow the surface of something (so like an arc of electricity, how could I make it roughly follow a skeletal mesh, without clipping through it)?
@@nzgberg You're in luck, there's a step-by-step example of this in the new UE5 documentation! docs.unrealengine.com/5.0/en-US/how-to-create-a-beam-effect-in-niagara-for-unreal-engine/ Also check out the new ue5 content examples, there's a few use cases in there :)
That was created by asher: asher.gg/ His epic presentations are definetely ones to watch as well, albeit they're in chinese, but there's english subtitles :)
current version of UE5 doesn't include a location based ribbon with the directional burst system. This makes it hard to continue following your tutorial.
Do they sell any “presets” or “templates” for let’s say water, fire, or those type of force field from the beginning to be a drag and drop style effect?
I hope maybe following you i can get some of the answers i need. i made a fire aura using the experimental fluid Gas fire emitter template, however the fire doesn't trail the character when moving, it leads the character instead, maybe you know how to fix this? is it a parent parameter? do i need to reverse a value somewhere ? i also made a vortex nova off the same asset, and if i drag and drop onto a mesh, it works, if i try to call in in the 3rd person blueprint, it fails to render. HELP.
Great summary, but that is absolutely not what stack means. That's just a list. Stack is you can only add new features to the top, and they execute first.
I feel like all of the devs who make tutorials are all competing by seeing who can talk fastest and make us hit the pause button the most. It's getting ridiculous really.

Whoah, that's insane.
The only content of this type that I found for Unreal Engine so far, really easy to get it into the head. Thank you, keep it up
Glad you like it!
Informative, simple and straight to the point. I love it. Well done my man 😊
This video is a game changers for me. You made it easy for me to understand in a way that previous tutorials I've seen didn't. Thanks so much!!
Glad it helped!
I 2cd that. Teaching is a skill in itself. Thanks man.
Nia Gara again another great breakdown I like the visual examples along the way
very good video, informative and well made, hope this channel keeps growing :)

Awesome video, looking forward to the next one!
Formatting this information in the Fireship io style has worked really well. Nice vid!
Thank you for your kind words Rojo 🙏🏼
W channel, W vid, well done man!
If this channel is going to be about Niagara and UE5 I'm totally hyped for upcoming Tutorials
We'll be covering a range of game development aspects, mostly targeting UE5, as that's what we specialize in.

Am loving this series
This was amazing certainly got me interested in learning more about Niagara and also I did like and subscribed :)
Welcome aboard!
Hello
About possibility of Niagara
We can change particle inside Niagara for: - plane, sphere and so on.
Quick and concise! My man!
If I could get all tutorials this way.. i would. Kudos to you sir.
Very well explained. Even more amazing that you did that in 300 seconds.
Love the video and your style, thanks! Animation montages would be cool since you’re taking suggestions 😀
Thank you for your kind words!
I'll be posting a poll in not too long to help make some of those decisions, keep an eye out!
Thanks for your input into UE education for developers
Clear explanation, amazing illustration, no redundant information, no awkward pauses, live examples given.
You've nailed every single aspect of it, half the video i was just in awe with how well you pulled them all off :')
Looking forward to more of your Niagara content.
Thank you so much for your kind words 🙏🏼
These are exactly the sort of comments that motivate me to continue working on content 🎉

that were 330 seconds, but worth every junk I searched so far for Niagara, please share your patreon !
I’m glad you found it useful!
Here’s my Patreon: www.patreon.com/MyGameDevPal
Thank you!
Thanks for this detailed breakdown. It is very explanatory 💯
Glad it was helpful!
Very good thank you! subscribed and liked
Thanks for the sub!
Could you make an intermediate guide to Niagara tutorial? So like going more in depth on creating custom modules and stuff?
Hello,
That is the plan!
However there will first be a beginner friendly video, which will include a a comprehensive walkthrough of creating an effect, as well as how to analyze the performance and then optimize the effect using different culling methods and gpu integration :)

300 seconds definitely wasn't enough time to absorb the info like a sponge, but you earned my sub :)
Nice video! What is the slime at 0:04 from? Is that done in Niagara too?
Thank you for the kind words! That's from asher.gg , it's made in Niagara :)
What video is the clip at 0:09 from. I love that voxel style.
That was created by asher: asher.gg/

Did you ever resolve this?
QUESTION! with niagra can i make sweat particles on the skin & have it realistically roll down?
Yes :)
Check out the content samples, there's a demo on there showcasing pretty much what you're asking for.
Great Tutorial!!
Please do more videos like fire ship
Do you have a full course? Your way of explaining is very helpful!
Not yet, I’m thinking about making one though :)
My game Dev pal :D
Do they sell any “presets” or “templates” for let’s say water, fire, or those type of force field from the beginning to be a drag and drop style effect?
What is the 4th example at the beginning? 0:06
Are you referring to the AOE or the wings?
The wings are from asher.gg, he's an incredible tech artist.
The AOE is mine :)
Can we learn how to use Fluids and collisions of fluids. Thank you for this tutorial.
Wow..Did I just learnt how to Niagara in UE5!?
W Video
I hope maybe following you i can get some of the answers i need.

please do a 1200 second video
❤❤❤
subbed
Can Niagara be optimized for mobile platforms(Android,Iphone etc) ?
Yes it can :)
I'll be demonstrating how to optimize the Niagara effects I create in my upcoming series.
subscribed. ;)
Wait... I don't have the "location based ribbon" , I followed perfectly, WTH?
Omg do not activate lyrics at 3:30, UA-cam please ?
Great summary, but that is absolutely not what stack means. That's just a list. Stack is you can only add new features to the top, and they execute first.
first

ya me screan looks totally different, I cant even follow this
a bit dated so i had to figure out that instead of clicking the main node i had to shift click the 2 other ones
