i think one of your greatest strengths is the ability to take the most normal mundane action and completely subvert our expectations of the outcome in such a punctual and hilarious way. we think the engineer is going to ring a giant bell, until he just suddenly falls off the tower. we think scout is going to hit heavy with a chair until it just inexplicably passes through him. it takes a lot of nuance to get things like that this right
it's one of those things where it hits you how fucking weird it is only after it's already happened
"Never let 'em know your next move" is CrazyScout's specialty.

Uttering one final iconic "Poot" before wishing his scout partner farewell.
Despite scout's "char"itable efforts to bring his body back into reality the act was irreversible leaving scout to mourn.
The medic, despite bearing ties to the underworld was rendered helpless, merely capable of contact with the ghost of what was left of the heavy.
Would this be the end of The Heavy.....? Maybe.... Maybe not.

Damn I love such storytelling. it goes funny and regular at the beggining, but then it suddenly turns half-surrealistic or just weird.

What's particularly interesting about this story is that it starts out as a remake of one of csf's older videos.
And that was the last Sandvich Heavy ever stole in his life. We'll miss his Sandvich stealing antics dearly

I love the cut to the dead of night with Medic, implying Scout called him out there and it took that long to either examine him or just for Medic to arrive. And then, his solemn head-shake, implying that heavy is dead {THAT HEAVY IS DEAD?!)
It's such a comical subversion of the usual way this sort of thing goes-scout throws the chair, heavy avoids it humorously, etc etc

It might be 24 seconds but the amount of care and personality put into the animations of these videos is so good. I know how long it can take to animate something that seems so simple but has a bunch of little intricacies
The heavy invisible car thing was the funniest and the last few seconds of the ending when Scout missed. Why must Heavy hurt Scout like this?

simple, there is a long "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE............" pulse, like a normal pulse but you extend the middle part infinitely

I have a strange urge to add a cursed heavy to the degroot keep map. Anyone who bumps into it instantly dies, but their model will remain, and anyone who touches that one will freeze too, until the whole map is full of cursed models.
