The double standard infuriates me for her. Those 2 men thought and felt enough of Amber to enter into serious relationships, but saw the need to publically malign her when it didn't work out.
Her "baby daddy" sounds a fool, because *he* was the cheating spouse.
Kanye sounds a fool because Kim's career was jumpstarted by a sex tape.

I can understand the reappropriating of the word “slut,” and I’m glad she’s not ashamed if people use her sexuality to harm her. But I don’t think I’m out of line by pointing out that art should meet certain aesthetic standards. Personally, I don’t think photographing a buttocks meets that standard.

@Ron Not Ron You didn`t understand what I said. Do you really think men can`t control themselves because of the clothes a women wears? I don`t think so. So you tell me that if I was raped in America, and happen to be wearing a revealing clothes, this would be evidence that the rapist is innocent? I don`t think any judge would ever use that as suffiecient evidence to let a rapist go. But I am not an American, so I have no experience with your court system. The best thing for girl children to do is go to school become prominent members of society and stop it with using your body as a means to get money. Now that’s what I call foolishness!

To anyone saying strippers are asking for it for what they do. It's not a woman's responsibility to gate keep their bodies, meaning it's something they shouldn't have to do. Women don't need to change and strive for something that doesn't use their bodies. Men and society need to change that point of view. The objectification should become adoration. A woman dancing on stage getting money for her efforts is no different than a woman performing a show charging money to get in to see it and by that, I mean all your faves. A Woman on Instagram putting herself on it for people to like her picture so she can have validation and bring in coins can be even more vapid than dancing for money. They don't do anything but take a picture and use facetune. That is even less effort. But there's nothing wrong with it. I don't support it mainly because a lot of it does stem from validation but I'm not going to tell those women they're sluts. A lot of them are modern day listings for picking up a sugar daddy and there's nothing wrong with that either. It's the person's choice to do what they want with their body and it shouldn't be held against women as a whole or individually. It's all relative. It's true there are going to be people who view stripping as trashiness but you don't know why those women want to make the money stripping brings in. You don't know if it's to pay for college, to help their family, you don't know and you shouldn't assume. Stand by your fellow woman and show support, don't shame them. Are you going to stand there and let a man call the woman a slut and say they shouldn't be surprised? Let's all build each other up because change needs to happen. Saying someone should know better because how men or society are isn't going to move us forward as people and it isn't going to make life for women better.

To have Amber talk like this, I feel alive. I had a friend set me up with a guy I really didn't like and I struggled thru it and decided to get off. Once I got off, I was set up being shamed by thesame friend who knew everything about my life with the guy and it was allot of shaming and naming people I've never ever slept with and saying I did. At 29, 3 guys and I was shamed and it was the worst experience of my life. Been thru it and getting over it. But this talk here, I'm completely over it.
When you go low for a guy who initially isn't committing or communicating to his lukewarmness, once you get off, they play the victim and target you the lady as a whore just so that no other man can look at that underlying person behind the scars you're hiding.
    I do understand her.
I noticed a lot of low interest men do this in order to make themselves feel in control and they easily get on when such a has got th underlying nice girl attitude, which is, weak personal boundaries.
As a woman, no matter what, never let low personal boundaries attract low interest men towards you. Protect you like it's a creed. They either take who you are and respect you for that person or move!

It’s cool she’s owning it and being so brave, but she seems as not quite as authentic as she claims to be. She seems hurt and broken, but claims not to care. We all have feelings and I don’t think she worked through all her hurts and is putting it under the carpet. It’s not a good message to send to other young women. If she did stuff that weren’t good for her well being or reputation, she shouldn’t act like it was the best thing ever, just because it is difficult to deal with it or because someone might take it in a wrong way. That’s not a way of owing up to your mistakes or healing after people/men disrespected you. Nobody is 100% naive, so even though I think she suffered, I also think she is in part responsible for her life experiences. At this age and after all experiences she has made, she should have known better. Not because of anyone else, but because of herself and her son. She seems like a soft delicate woman and I think she should care more about her own feelings. She could find a better way of representing herself (in my opinion).

To be a real adult is to live with your choices and the results that came from it.Everybody has a right to fight for their life. I never understood slut-shaming. Men liked sex, s why would you shame a woman for doing something you like to do also. And then incels complain about how hard it is to get sex. Well, slut-shaming will actually make it even harder. Slut-shaming doesn't work in anyone's interests.

    • @Brandon-w3o
      @Brandon-w3o 2 роки тому

There is something inappropriate about having sex with lots of different people, whether you're a man or a woman. It is impossible to treat sex as a transaction and act like it has no psychological, emotional or mental impact on you and your overall well being. Shaming exists for a reason; it's not fun to shame others, it's deeper than this.

Marie Cox it wasn’t praised though. It’s inappropriate to expose the youth to this type of behavior. Unfortunately, it is dangerous to sleep with multiple people for various reasons. Wether you believe in religion or not, aids and incurable stds are real. This is just going to amplify things. When I was young, I thought it was normal. Now I truly see having multiple sex partners without real relationships or trust.

Women need to protect themselves, their bodies, and have regard for themselves and STOP allowing people entry who have not committed to you. Your husband is your sexual partner, do not give your body freely. The majority of women are unaware and unwilling to see the repercussions that come with giving our bodies away. Protect your body.

She needs to stop trying to twist this campaign into empowering women. There is nothing empowering about these derogatory terms. What if we had a N word walk or used some other word that is clearly used to be demeaning. She needs to stop and young ladies, don't get this confused. This campaign is solely to uplift her own self esteem. I can't even finish watching this .

I used to think it was so unnecessary to go by the label "slut" to promote body positivity and empowerment but I get it now. Bless her heart for taking a stand against misogyny and slut shaming. Happy to be in a place in my life that I don't need to judge another woman for choosing a different path to empower herself and others. 💜🌹

I love her. Such a powerful person. I hope she realizes how much of a difference she is actually making. Women have it fucking hard. Sex is used against us. We need to get the power back.

If she was black, y’all will believe she’s innocent just like O.J 😂😂😂. Y’all celebrate criminals who beat their cases in your hip hop culture. She’s free now and you’ll have to live with it.

K D lol were you even born in 1994/95 Or are you trying to deny history too? O.j’s trial was turned into a circus. Black people made it about race and he was found not guilty. Even if the lady in this video was guilty, the fact is that she’s been found innocent and we will have to live with it and leave race out of it.

Can't believe y'all have Amanda Knox doing this interview. What kind of world do we live in where she'd be able to have this type of attention still. Especially when there are people with petty crimes struggling for jobs.....

Women who want their BRAIN to make that same amount every year then has to deal with the same men who throw money on you at the club, to then coming into the their office/ workplace and not throwing money on us; working with us as equals. Now let's have THAT conversation, please.

as someone who’s been slut shamed even by men she loves, this is so powerful. i just want to do what i want to do, like men do, and not have to carry shame around or have to rethink my worth. i’m done feeling shame for things that are not shameful.
