- I haven't run into any issues using Davinci Resolve 17, specifically version 17.3.2, on Windows 11 after the official release on October 5, 2021.

Great vid, all great channels seem to be small 😞 keep up the good work
Thank you! Hopefully we'll have more growth in the next few months 😝
Interesting I love the rounded corners for real! I was worried about getting a new laptop to run 17.4 studio on, but you have allayed my worries!
If you do have any issues, you have 10 days to roll back to Windows 10 😀
Is the battery life of the laptop same after upgrading to Windows 11?
@@huedvibe I just got a Lenovo Legion and the install gave me "offer" to download 11 or "decline" to which I chose to go. I didn't expect it to automatically install upon reboot but there you go. The interface is a massive update from win 10. So far, DR works.
@@Clickumentary You got any issues with battery life?
@@huedvibe none so far. I've taken it to work with me and used for several hours without being plugged into the brick.
Good video. Just started using 11, but after watching so many videos on how to solve a no audio form issue, havent been able to figure it out. Running DR 17 on Ryzen 7.
Cool. Just wondering is Davinci finally able to playback with higher audio then 44.1? Or will it stay muted like my 16? (Would like to set my external DAC to 96kHz in Windows again ....)
I hope you can help me out with this problem. I’ve never used DaVinci but it just might be windows 11 but, it doesn’t let me import music. I tried everything even watching videos and reinstalling DaVinci. Hopefully you can get back to be quick! And love your channel!
Hey! I get that issue with some files - specifically ones created in Garage Band. I've had luck converting the mp3 to a wav file - I use convertio.co/mp3-wav/
After you convert it, you should be able to import it just fine. Hope it helps!
hmm it says media offline when my friend try to edit his video every time no files are missing its glitch maybe you have any fix? his laptop is amd ryzen 5 3600u and rx vega 10
Been trying to download resolve and it keeps saying I don't have space, "Extraction is not working" I'm new to computers how do I solve this?
Where you could get a 2gb graphics card to work with resolve 17 in windows 10. Windows 11 needs more power. You have to change graphics card to a 4gb model to run resolve 17 in windows 11 or downgrade resolve to version 16 on windows 11 with 2gb graohics card
When i downloaded davinci and opened it, it just said "extracting, when it extracted it told me davinci is already installed"
same i cant find any videos that help with it
Go to your admin account on your device
@@YoIMORTAL oh tysm
Is this the free version of davinci
Yessir, it is the free version.
@@bigbytemedia5913 ok I always download it but it never works
Yes
Or you can just drag the icon to the task bar...
I just tried that and it didn't work. If you search in Windows 11, the primary menu shows 'Add to Taskbar'; however, not on the standard right-click menu. Many tech UA-camrs have complained about the poor W11 menus as well. There are already workarounds created to default the right-click to the W10 menu too.
