      That happened with Stanley''Tookie''Williams, the co-founder of the Crips and continued to be the case until he was executed by lethal injection in 2005 and that's also what happened with X-Raided, a Sacramento Gangsta rapper who spent 26 years out of what was originally a life sentence in prison(and Big Herc has interviewed X-Raided on his UA-cam channel).
      X-Raided has to be one of the most well-spoken and intelligent rappers I've ever heard.

      most long term prisoners become educated. theres only 4 things to do when locked up. work out, eat, do dirt , or become educated as long as you work out , and do the classes they offer you will stay golden. you do the time dont let the time do you, make good choices and you can and will change your life and outlook.

      I don't think that's necessarily true. I think smart people are more likely to be educated. Education doesn't make people smart because intelligence is something you're born with. Stupid people that don't think ahead will do something whether the government gave them $20,000 to go, and fail, out of college or not. You can't educate your way out of violence.

      Herc didn't even have to say anything when Andrew said that because it's obvious someone like Andrew isn't cut out for jail and prison.
      But that's a good thing, he stays out of trouble and is a square white guy-jail and prison is something people should do their best to avoid and stay away from, anyway and Herc always encourages people to stay out of trouble, do something productive and positive with their lives and with their time.

      I'd say it's all about how you handle yourself I've been to jail and prison ive done about a year in each and I'd say that you can handle it if you decide to keep to yourself meaning don't get involved and shit you don't need to and don't have a loud mouth things like that because I am a fairly skinny guy and you would think that someone like me would get picked on and beat up in prison but that was not the case. But I was also in a minimum security unit and people claim that our state prison is a cake walk. So basically I suppose I cant speak for the other prisons.

      It’s a funny question like my friend who’s about halfway through his 17 year sentence says that he and his ‘friends’ play a lot of complex card games and do tournaments for fun. Last week he called me up and said they were having a blast watching shark week and how excited he was that it was shark week. But I’m sure its him trying to do the best with the miserable environment he has

A lot of people are deluded by talking heads in politics, and reinforced by others who also buy in to the manufactured outrage, which sells (think about news headlines and clickbait). On top of that, they block out people whose views differ from theirs, which distorts their worldview.
