It’s crazy seeing the different directions both Pat and Jen went on after the divorce. I grew up on them, and watching his life go downhill while Jen is living her best life is really sad.

I think Pat chose the wrong people to be around after the divorce and his mental health has suffered and got him into trouble. I hope he gets the help he needs.
I mean its understandable why Pat and Jen would have such big disagreements, having kids or not is a big deal, and different people have vastly different opinions, but honestly they should have had some way to resolve the debate in the first place. Also way to many people make the mistake in nose-diving into having kids, its something you need to prepare for, otherwise it can destroy your life if your not ready for it.

Exactly this, from what I saw, made bad choices and met the wrong people... someone told me dating in the modern era? It's not advised, finding good people for good relationships 2019 onwards became... rare. That kind of experience forever messes with someone's mind and... it's sad. I've actually seen good people lose their minds after getting with the wrong people, or be influenced by fake friends who wanted nothing more than "yesmen" to do as they say... it's sad.

I'm not saying he's an alcoholic but the pattern with his 2 gf after the drama was involved with both of them drinking which drinking in it self can impact how you act and your behavior but being drunk in both cases could have effected him as well. I know there's a comment that he posted that might have been deleted saying he's dealing with some personal things but I feel like these are the key differences with his time with Jen and his time with other people he's dating. Jen never really enabled things. While his newer gfs have whether it's cause the stress of the drama with the first one or Liz was enable him seeing how he reacts when drinking and still choose to drink along with him. I don't think we will ever get the full picture of what happened or if Jen was just an exception to what's happen now. I hope he gets better though cause it's sad to see this all go down. This is an unfair situation Pat and Jen separated respectfully They loved each other so much that they could let eachother go. Pat knew Jen wanted kids, didn't stop her wish, and supported her decision. I feel bad for pat. There was a comment, I think it has been since deleted. But Pat openly admitted that he wanted to start recording videos again as he missed it, and that he was dealing with alot of mental health problems. If I find a screenshot again I will edit this comment with the whole thing written on it. Its just sad to see a man that practically raised you suffer so much. Edit: Personally I don't think people should be jumping the gun to hate and spread false info. There's no incriminating proof, only well placed "coincidences" that can be explained rather easily: One of them being pat getting accused of stuff just as his channel is dropping in views, which very much could be attributed to the fact his upload schedule wasn't as active and consistent as before, nor did he evolve his content creation. None of us know Pat personally, but what we do know is that on the internet, while "Innocent until Proven Guilty" is always the go to, the opposite should always be taken with skepticism as far too many people lie about serious accusations, and the mentality of "Guilty until Proven Innocent" has NOT worked out well 99% of the time as the accuser has always been found to be a liar doing it for clout.

I'm really considering coming back... I don't need money or anything. I really genuinely miss it all a lot. I started because I loved it and it would make me happy. It would probably be with my friends. It wouldnt be with Jen, she has her own life. Money wise I was smart compared to most UA-camrs. I invested my money. I don't need anything from anyone. This is sad. Everyone's sad. Even Pat is sad. Jen is sad. Eleni went through 5 stages of grief. Liz is still probably contemplating what happened. Yeah, everyone, except Eleni, is sad. Also, I'm sad too. PopularMMOS was one of the fundamental building blocks of my childhood. It's sad.
The one thing i feel somewhat relieved about is that Jen, the ex-wife is always seen supporting Pat the entire way in the background while seeing his life crumbling down. I just wish they had stayed in contact since they're clearly close friends even after the divorce, which seemed peaceful. It's just that Pat seemed to be a bit rushed and emotional after his divorce to move on to another relationship. Not helping with the fact that him and Eleni's relationship is clearly a toxic one, he started being a bit more aggresive and emotionally charged on his next one with Liz. I never really grew up with PopularMMOs, but i have always known about their existence, i thought they're just another channel lost to time, but it turns out that Pat's fate is a downward spiraling one. Atleast he's doing alright atm, and that's what the people growing up with him wanted.
All Pat wants is to play games, since it’s his job and one that he loves very much, with the person he loves. Like working with the person you love sounds amazing. It’s just the people he’s been with have done him wrong.

You forgot to mention the community posts Pat posted on Popularmmos. On the 3 posts, he talked about the situation and what was going on from his perspective and also said he wanted to and would maybe return sometime soon. He also states that Jen wont be joining him if he does return. I wonder if anything happened or if he realized how awkward it had been
Well I figure since Jen finally started a family and has a kid of her own, she would want to spend time with him and her husband understandably, so really it makes sense Jen won't show up anymore even if it saddensus as fans of both Pat and Jen.

it’s honestly so sad to see a youtuber you’ve grown up with- and called your home- have such a dark history and so much drama. i remember watching his lucky block challenges and feel so happy- but now i just feel sad.
I honestly stopped watching Pat and Jen during their Minecraft walking dead series, moving on to other creators at the time, so it hit me bad when I decided to search his channel up again for the nostalgia,expecting some more Modded Minecraft shenanigans from the couple, only to see that Jen has divorced him and his life spiraling down to more pain and suffering. It hit me like a freight train.
Popularmmos always seemed like the type of youtuber to never change, his intro was the same, he dated Jen for a long time, and they basically did the same video without feeling like they needed to change things up, they just went with what was comfortable for them. They played modded Minecraft so much that at this point, they don’t even understand how normal Minecraft works lol. Which I thought was really funny, I thought if nothing else, they would always stay like that. Shame to see this is happening to him. I hope he realizes he can be loved without needing materialistic things to prove his love.
I remember the days when I was merely a 3rd grader and used to get so excited to see their videos after coming home from school and man oh man were those the days. I practically grew up on Pat and Jen and seeing how Pat has spiraled into what appears to be this never ending sequence of trouble and misfortune really hurts to see. i think something that's really important that i never seem to see mentioned by anyone is that his fans were absolutely horrible around the time he divorced jen eleni might have been a bitch but none of his fans knew that when they were sending her death threats for simply being in popularmmos' videos to the point he had to make like 3 videos begging them to stop the divorce was blown out of proportion because his fans whined on and on about it in the comments of every single one of his videos and attacked pat when he referred to jen as his ex-wife in a video literally nothing changed when they divorced initially they were still making videos together but his fans acted like it was the end of the world and i really think that was a huge contributor to his downfall i cant imagine having to deal with all that real life stuff while also having a bunch of toxic children who probably don't know basic algebra constantly giving their stupid opinions about your personal life while you're just trying to entertain them with minecraft videos and i seriously wonder if his career would have gone down the same path if his fans would have accepted his personal decisions and quit worrying about stuff that really wasn't any of their business
They have done so many fucked up things and everyone is always like: “it’s cause he has kid viewers” but No actual kid watches him anymore, because his type of content isn’t what new kids would like. They like lankyblox and UA-camrs who are more fast paced and scripted. That’s where the trend is right now. It doesn’t make sense to label them kids, it makes more sense to call them what they most likely are, Teenagers, or adults in their mid to early twenties, who are smart enough to understand what empathy is and how to read context, popularmmos has the most childish and whiniest community, not because of their actual age but because of their mentality. This community needs to stop acting like they’re younger than they actually are, and they need to stop living in their little world thinking solutions needs to be handed to them on a silver platter, in perfect fantasy. They need to grow tf up. Plain and simple.
Some of the communities problem; 1) Eleni: Before any word of her was even brought out, before any drama, people were already sending death threats and telling her to kill herself. All because it wasn’t Jen on the screen and they were worried Eleni would replace Jen. I want everyone to note this was before she was *exposed* just to nail it into everything’s thick skull who still thinks everything the community does is okay. Pat has done multiple videos to which he called this out, he even at one point got so sick and tired of the bullshit, he actually started revealing the people that were sending it, their profile and everything. So that they would stop. And he even brought Jen into the video, after nothing had changed. Update: after some time of her appearing, the drama begin to dive down, and people slowly accepted her, and even though it looked on the UA-cam side, like everyone was getting along, people were still fighting on social media. Some were even trying to justify themselves, saying how they accept her but than also saying they won’t watch the video anymore as long as she is there. I don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure out That means you don’t actually accept her.
3) Eleni finally comes out with claims. And what do people do? They decide to take Eleni side, and pat loses some subs due to it. That’s right. They would rather believe a person they known for what? A couple of months than a person they known for more than a year. And decides to leave him just like that. Its not like Pat wasn’t good to her. Its like pat gave her gifts. Its not like pat did EVERYTHING in his power to make sure she didn’t get harassed. Its not like pat risked everything to even call the fan base. Nope. He did not love her, and he was just abusive right? 4) Eleni Doxxes Pat, to which Pat response with a tweet saying “here” and decided to doxx Eleni’s address. Everyone gets mad at pat, not ELENI but at PAT. Pat later apologizes, saying that the doxx was *fake* and the address wasn’t actually real. He was just mad and wanted to give her a taste of her own medicine. And yet his community is mad just because he thought of doing it, they said pat should be better, even though pat outright said it wasn’t real, get off your high horse, pat shouldn’t have to apologize for that. And why is he getting all the hate for doxxing a fake address when Eleni was the one who dox him with a real one?
5) word finally comes out from Pat and he tells his side of the story, he claims that he and Eleni dated and that showed receipts that her claims were either false or she left some stuff out to make her look better. You’d think at this point, the community would apologize or at least comfort Pat? No, what they did instead was say “I knew it”, “this is why you listen to us pat” (real comments) are you kidding me? That’s your initial thought process? That’s apathic. And no, you didn’t know it. You had a SUSPICION. You had one thought, a doubt. But you didn’t know it. There is a lot more but you are most likely not gonna read this far and also I’m going to post it on Reddit lol
Its so sad because I grew up with Pat and Jen and they were my favorite youtubers when I was like 7. I would always ask my mom to turn the "Minecraft UA-camrs" on the TV and she understood. I am sorry for Pat because of how much his life went downhill.
Ever since I was four I watched pat for more than a decade. He was such a star in the spotlight. Seeing this kind of decline in pat’s life is showing me that he deserves the world because he was just one of the best people ever on UA-cam. He helped kids by giving them some sense of imagination, joy, and laughter. If one could go back in time to somehow keep pat and Jen’s relationship intact then, he would not have had this kind of stuff happen to him. Lots of people love him and he was a childhood hero to us.
Pat and Jen were the first UA-camrs I ever watched. I would watch all their videos and I loved them. I hope that Pat gets over his mental health issues, and (if he feels up to it) make stuff for the enjoyment of himself and not just for us.

It’s crazy seeing this because I just checked out his channel the other day to see he hasn’t posted in over a year after I thought I saw him public at my job (or at least someone who resembles him). Mans has been through it since I left the channel, don’t remember when exactly that was but after the 2,000th lucky block video I decided I wasn’t the target audience anymore. I had been watching him for years since back in the days of the modded mob battles and I used to come home everyday anticipating one of his uploads. It really feels like Pat lacked maturity in all this drama and could've stopped it at any time. Also doxxing someone is NOT "angelic behaviour", unless the person you're doxxing is abusing animals and such, you shouldn't be doing it.
It seems like he was jumping into relationships before actually mentally recovering from the divorce, people should always take a break before getting into another relationship and make sure to check any toxic/abusive behavior of the person before its too late.
I feel extremely bad for Pat, I used to watch both Pat and Jens channel a long time ago and missed A LOT of the drama, Only in the past year or so ive heard about the break up, and then awhile after all the toxic relationships plus arrests, etc. This makes me feel sad to be honest, seeing some of my favorite creators have their lives go down hill - like many people have said in the comments i think, but seeing many other creators still living their life. I do hope things get better for Pat in time, and again, like people are saying, it seems like things ARE already getting better, just have to wait i suppose.

I don't frequently type out long texts but wow.. Honestly there's nothing we can do to help him out of the void other than be that little space where we're fans, he's the content creator and we support him, it's really him that has to figure out how to get out of that rut and try to steer himself in a direction where he can be happier. Personally my opinion, no matter how harsh it is, he should cut his gf out of his life, it might be cruel and heartless but you cannot save someone who doesn't want to be saved, even if they want to be saved they certainly can't get that proper treatment from another normal man, that person has to do it themselves and take personal strides forward, I hope pat realizes he isn't responsible for taking care of another human being and sometimes, there are just bad endings, it doesn't have to be like that for him though.

The fact that you can tell that he stopped lifting weights (something he clearly loved since he had a whole gym in his house) when he was dating Eleni speaks volumes Like look at how much muscle mass is gone in 2:52 compared to 0:21 when he was with Jen
My dad was actually a close friend of Pat so we would always ask about Everytime he met up with him. I eventually heard from my father about his worries of Pat’s mental state and the possible causes. There were many signs that showed how far things have gone and the cause, but I don’t wanna disrespect Pats privacy top much. But most of his spiraling down was because of Jen leaving him, she was basically his only real happiness and it upsets me having to see someone rely on the idea of past relationships to cope with mental illness.

I started watching Pat when he started season 1 of epic proportions, he's how I found UA-cam and was a huge part of my childhood, I still go back and watch some of his early videos every few months.
Pat and Jen made my childhood. To see one of my childhood heroes decline like this is really sad. I’m glad Jen is living a happy life, but I hope Pat can find inner peace and get the help he needs… He was around the wrong people and got into toxic relationships… I hope he will be ok.

growing up watching both pat and jen left good memories of laughing at all their humorous videos and minecraft gameplays, but seeing how so much of pats life has just been dropped in a ditch due to relationship issues is just sad. Jen and pats relationship only had one big inconvenience, while eleni and liz had worse experiences with their relationships with pat. I feel like Jen was Pat's relationship together would have worked out best even with inconveniences they would deal with

Same here, the last major vid relating to PopularMMOS that I watched was a video talking about his girlfriend taking advantage of him, and by that time I havent been watching him for atleast 2 years. Last time I heard of Pat and his situation was the video with his two ex'es. I really thought eleni and pat were alright then and jen just went her own way in her own new life somewhere. Matt should've kept a lot of his personal stuff behind the camera in the first place. Pat and jen were one of many people i looked up growing up watching Minecraft videos. A damn shame these people i used to look up are in really sad situations.
Him and Jen had many differences between eachother but pat truly loved jen, this is probably why his mental health deteriorated, and got involved with the wrong people, i dont really care if he someday makes videos again, i just want him to be okay

I miss the old days... All the UA-camrs we grew up watching weren't just content creators, people who had no issues. They were people, and I miss those people.
Pat and Jen made up a huge chunk my childhood. It felt really surreal when they got divorced (I was unaffected, obviously) and it makes me sad to see Pat like this. I'm glad he got out of his wrongful arrest though. I'm also glad Jen is doing well :)
People also arent acknowledging enough that the fans themselves had a hugely negative impact as well. So many people kept talking about how sad it was and how much they want him to stay together and they kind of just didnt let him move on. Anything he ever did with himself or someone new was immediately met with sorrow and critisim that Jen wasnt involved. I think its really terrible of these fans who just dont understand that these are real people with real lives and real issues, not characters you can pit together because they're entertaining. Imagine having thousands of people who are too immature to accept a break up and constantly berate you for not being with her anymore. It would be a huge amount of pressure for anyone to handle and I'm sure it made the process way more difficult for him
Dang, this sucks to hear. I used to watch him about 6, 7, years ago, and I remember he made some great videos. I haven't heard of him since then, but watching this made me cry a bit inside.
Pat definitely never wanted to lose Jen, growing up watching them it was very clear that they were happy together. people think that breaking up means that you have to hate that person but it's not at all what it is. Pat clearly stated that both of them deserve to be happy, and him breaking up with Jen so she could be happy was the best thing he'd ever done for Jen. anyways it's a tragedy how his life is falling apart. i really hope he gets it together
Pat and Jen built my childhood, thier probably the reason enjoy gaming instead of something else. It’s sad to see the way Pat has gone with his life, I hope he gets back on his feet.
When I first watched the video of them talking about the divorce I hoped that they would still make content together, and while that did happen it started to decrease also leading pat to make less uploads. This was the beginning of his downfall. After the divorce pat was never the same and it seemed like he developed a drinking problem as I had never heard anything of him being drunk while still married to Jen. As I watched more of this video I started to view pat as the bad guy yet I still have to feel some remorse for him after all that he has been through and everything he has done for millions of people. And if anyone is wondering about Jen, she got remarried and had a child. It’s crazy to see how both changed after the divorce. While pat was going through some crazy shit with his emotions and personal life, Jen was very happy. I hope both of them are okay now.
I do not have sufficient information to make any claims on whether or not Pat was in the right. I'll just state my opinions of every major point. 1. A major problem right off the bat was the fanbase's extremely negative reaction to the divorce. Being sad that they divorced is fine, but being angry at anyone for it was simply ridiculous. Pat made three separate videos essentially begging his followers to stop harassing Eleni. Regardless of your opinion on Eleni, you have to feel at least somewhat bad for her for the relentless abuse from people online. No one deserves that. 2. While I do believe Pat's side of the story of the Eleni situation (and I won't deny my bias here), I don't think it was right to share this kind of drama online. Not much else to say, since I don't know the full story. 3. Given the charges were dropped in the first arrest story, I have to assume innocence. But the stress of being arrested, combined with the almost certain bad reaction from some people, probably didn't do much good for Pat's mental health. 4. Obviously, Jen liking that tweet was a mistake. "Don't believe everything you hear" is the only thing I can really say here. 5. Leaking Eleni's address was a hugely terrible thing to do. You should never leak someone's personal information online for any reason. I can't imagine Pat was in the right state of mind when he made this tweet, but he's still at fault. 6. I don't know. The second arrest has very sparse details for obvious reasons, and it would be wrong for me to assume anything. 7. Again, given the outcome of the third arrest, I have to assume innocence. Overall, I really wish I knew more. Taking a side when you don't have important details is something that should be refrained from doing. And to an extent, I feel bad for every person mentioned in these stories.
Its really awful seeing the person who made you smile everyday be the one to bring you down, Im happy for Jen and I hope the best for Pat, he clearly has some mental health problems that need to be seen by a professional. The one thing i feel somewhat relieved about is that Jen, the ex-wife is always seen supporting Pat the entire way in the background while seeing his life crumbling down. I just wish they had stayed in contact since they're clearly close friends even after the divorce, which seemed peaceful.
It's just that Pat seemed to be a bit rushed and emotional after his divorce to move on to another relationship. Not helping with the fact that him and Eleni's relationship is clearly a toxic one, he started being a bit more aggresive and emotionally charged on his next one with Liz.
I never really grew up with PopularMMOs, but i have always known about their existence, i thought they're just another channel lost to time, but it turns out that Pat's fate is a downward spiraling one. Atleast he's doing alright atm, and that's what the people growing up with him wanted.

I honestly stopped watching Pat and Jen during their Minecraft walking dead series, moving on to other creators at the time, so it hit me bad when I decided to search his channel up again for the nostalgia,expecting some more Modded Minecraft shenanigans from the couple, only to see that Jen has divorced him and his life spiraling down to more pain and suffering. It hit me like a freight train.
Popularmmos always seemed like the type of youtuber to never change, his intro was the same, he dated Jen for a long time, and they basically did the same video without feeling like they needed to change things up, they just went with what was comfortable for them. They played modded Minecraft so much that at this point, they don’t even understand how normal Minecraft works lol. Which I thought was really funny, I thought if nothing else, they would always stay like that. Shame to see this is happening to him. I hope he realizes he can be loved without needing materialistic things to prove his love.

i think something that's really important that i never seem to see mentioned by anyone is that his fans were absolutely horrible around the time he divorced jen eleni might have been a bitch but none of his fans knew that when they were sending her death threats for simply being in popularmmos' videos to the point he had to make like 3 videos begging them to stop the divorce was blown out of proportion because his fans whined on and on about it in the comments of every single one of his videos and attacked pat when he referred to jen as his ex-wife in a video literally nothing changed when they divorced initially they were still making videos together but his fans acted like it was the end of the world and i really think that was a huge contributor to his downfall i cant imagine having to deal with all that real life stuff while also having a bunch of toxic children who probably don't know basic algebra constantly giving their stupid opinions about your personal life while you're just trying to entertain them with minecraft videos and i seriously wonder if his career would have gone down the same path if his fans would have accepted his personal decisions and quit worrying about stuff that really wasn't any of their business
They have done so many fucked up things and everyone is always like: “it’s cause he has kid viewers” but No actual kid watches him anymore, because his type of content isn’t what new kids would like. They like lankyblox and UA-camrs who are more fast paced and scripted. That’s where the trend is right now. It doesn’t make sense to label them kids, it makes more sense to call them what they most likely are, Teenagers, or adults in their mid to early twenties, who are smart enough to understand what empathy is and how to read context, popularmmos has the most childish and whiniest community, not because of their actual age but because of their mentality. This community needs to stop acting like they’re younger than they actually are, and they need to stop living in their little world thinking solutions needs to be handed to them on a silver platter, in perfect fantasy. They need to grow tf up. Plain and simple.
Some of the communities problem;
1) Eleni: Before any word of her was even brought out, before any drama, people were already sending death threats and telling her to kill herself. All because it wasn’t Jen on the screen and they were worried Eleni would replace Jen. I want everyone to note this was before she was *exposed* just to nail it into everything’s thick skull who still thinks everything the community does is okay. Pat has done multiple videos to which he called this out, he even at one point got so sick and tired of the bullshit, he actually started revealing the people that were sending it, their profile and everything. So that they would stop. And he even brought Jen into the video, after nothing had changed.
Update: after some time of her appearing, the drama begin to dive down, and people slowly accepted her, and even though it looked on the UA-cam side, like everyone was getting along, people were still fighting on social media. Some were even trying to justify themselves, saying how they accept her but than also saying they won’t watch the video anymore as long as she is there. I don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure out That means you don’t actually accept her.
3) Eleni finally comes out with claims. And what do people do? They decide to take Eleni side, and pat loses some subs due to it. That’s right. They would rather believe a person they known for what? A couple of months than a person they known for more than a year. And decides to leave him just like that. Its not like Pat wasn’t good to her. Its like pat gave her gifts. Its not like pat did EVERYTHING in his power to make sure she didn’t get harassed. Its not like pat risked everything to even call the fan base. Nope. He did not love her, and he was just abusive right?
4) Eleni Doxxes Pat, to which Pat response with a tweet saying “here” and decided to doxx Eleni’s address. Everyone gets mad at pat, not ELENI but at PAT. Pat later apologizes, saying that the doxx was *fake* and the address wasn’t actually real. He was just mad and wanted to give her a taste of her own medicine. And yet his community is mad just because he thought of doing it, they said pat should be better, even though pat outright said it wasn’t real, get off your high horse, pat shouldn’t have to apologize for that. And why is he getting all the hate for doxxing a fake address when Eleni was the one who dox him with a real one?
5) word finally comes out from Pat and he tells his side of the story, he claims that he and Eleni dated and that showed receipts that her claims were either false or she left some stuff out to make her look better. You’d think at this point, the community would apologize or at least comfort Pat? No, what they did instead was say “I knew it”, “this is why you listen to us pat” (real comments) are you kidding me? That’s your initial thought process? That’s apathic. And no, you didn’t know it. You had a SUSPICION. You had one thought, a doubt. But you didn’t know it.

Ever since I was four I watched pat for more than a decade. He was such a star in the spotlight. Seeing this kind of decline in pat’s life is showing me that he deserves the world because he was just one of the best people ever on UA-cam. He helped kids by giving them some sense of imagination, joy, and laughter. I feel extremely bad for Pat, I used to watch both Pat and Jens channel a long time ago and missed A LOT of the drama, Only in the past year or so ive heard about the break up, and then awhile after all the toxic relationships plus arrests, etc.
This makes me feel sad to be honest, seeing some of my favorite creators have their lives go down hill - like many people have said in the comments i think, but seeing many other creators still living their life. I do hope things get better for Pat in time, and again, like people are saying, it seems like things ARE already getting better, just have to wait i suppose.

Personally my opinion, no matter how harsh it is, he should cut his gf out of his life, it might be cruel and heartless but you cannot save someone who doesn't want to be saved, even if they want to be saved they certainly can't get that proper treatment from another normal man, that person has to do it themselves and take personal strides forward, I hope pat realizes he isn't responsible for taking care of another human being and sometimes, there are just bad endings, it doesn't have to be like that for him though.

@@estherhooker697 I think he is talking about Jen. Since Pat didn’t want any kids, he needed to respect her wishes by letting her go. If Pat does return, it will be a one-man show. That means no partners, not even Jen herself since she has her own life now.

I just hope, one day, Pat could recover from all the horrible things they have done to him, and maybe even enough to start making consistent uploads again. He was such an integral part of my childhood, and seeing things like this is a true heartbreak. I wish only better for Pat.

My dad was actually a close friend of Pat so we would always ask about Everytime he met up with him. I eventually heard from my father about his worries of Pat’s mental state and the possible causes.
There were many signs that showed how far things have gone and the cause, but I don’t wanna disrespect Pats privacy top much. But most of his spiraling down was because of Jen leaving him, she was basically his only real happiness and it upsets me having to see someone rely on the idea of past relationships to cope with mental illness.

I started watching Pat when he started season 1 of epic proportions, he's how I found UA-cam and was a huge part of my childhood, I still go back and watch some of his early videos every few months.
These guys influenced the growth of my writing hobby. I bought the books they wrote. This is just sad.
Pat and Jen made my childhood. To see one of my childhood heroes decline like this is really sad. I’m glad Jen is living a happy life, but I hope Pat can find inner peace and get the help he needs… He was around the wrong people and got into toxic relationships… I hope he will be ok.

growing up watching both pat and jen left good memories of laughing at all their humorous videos and minecraft gameplays, but seeing how so much of pats life has just been dropped in a ditch due to relationship issues is just sad. Jen and pats relationship only had one big inconvenience, while eleni and liz had worse experiences with their relationships with pat. I feel like Jen was Pat's relationship together would have worked out best even with inconveniences they would deal with

Same here, the last major vid relating to PopularMMOS that I watched was a video talking about his girlfriend taking advantage of him, and by that time I havent been watching him for atleast 2 years. Its sad to see how bad his life turned out to be after everything. Hope Pat is doing atleast better now.
Last time I heard of Pat and his situation was the video with his two ex'es. I really thought eleni and pat were alright then and jen just went her own way in her own new life somewhere. Matt should've kept a lot of his personal stuff behind the camera in the first place. Pat and jen were one of many people i looked up growing up watching Minecraft videos. A damn shame these people i used to look up are in really sad situations.
Him and Jen had many differences between eachother but pat truly loved jen, this is probably why his mental health deteriorated, and got involved with the wrong people, i dont really care if he someday makes videos again, i just want him to be okay

It's not that easy when it takes such a toll on your mental health. He mentioned she has bipolar, which can destroy all your relationships. He also probably really wants to help her with that and everything so leaving isn't easy. I hope the right things happen to both of them

I miss the old days... All the UA-camrs we grew up watching weren't just content creators, people who had no issues. They were people, and I miss those people.
Pat and Jen made up a huge chunk my childhood. It felt really surreal when they got divorced (I was unaffected, obviously) and it makes me sad to see Pat like this. I'm glad he got out of his wrongful arrest though. I'm also glad Jen is doing well :)
People also arent acknowledging enough that the fans themselves had a hugely negative impact as well. So many people kept talking about how sad it was and how much they want him to stay together and they kind of just didnt let him move on. Anything he ever did with himself or someone new was immediately met with sorrow and critisim that Jen wasnt involved. I think its really terrible of these fans who just dont understand that these are real people with real lives and real issues, not characters you can pit together because they're entertaining. Imagine having thousands of people who are too immature to accept a break up and constantly berate you for not being with her anymore. It would be a huge amount of pressure for anyone to handle and I'm sure it made the process way more difficult for him

When I first watched the video of them talking about the divorce I hoped that they would still make content together, and while that did happen it started to decrease also leading pat to make less uploads. This was the beginning of his downfall. After the divorce pat was never the same and it seemed like he developed a drinking problem as I had never heard anything of him being drunk while still married to Jen. As I watched more of this video I started to view pat as the bad guy yet I still have to feel some remorse for him after all that he has been through and everything he has done for millions of people. And if anyone is wondering about Jen, she got remarried and had a child. It’s crazy to see how both changed after the divorce. While pat was going through some crazy shit with his emotions and personal life, Jen was very happy. I hope both of them are okay now.
I grew up with those two. I was humbled about a year ago when I went looking for some nostalgia and found all of that. Now, here I am again...
I do not have sufficient information to make any claims on whether or not Pat was in the right. I'll just state my opinions of every major point.
1. A major problem right off the bat was the fanbase's extremely negative reaction to the divorce. Being sad that they divorced is fine, but being angry at anyone for it was simply ridiculous. Pat made three separate videos essentially begging his followers to stop harassing Eleni. Regardless of your opinion on Eleni, you have to feel at least somewhat bad for her for the relentless abuse from people online. No one deserves that.
2. While I do believe Pat's side of the story of the Eleni situation (and I won't deny my bias here), I don't think it was right to share this kind of drama online. Not much else to say, since I don't know the full story.
3. Given the charges were dropped in the first arrest story, I have to assume innocence. But the stress of being arrested, combined with the almost certain bad reaction from some people, probably didn't do much good for Pat's mental health.
4. Obviously, Jen liking that tweet was a mistake. "Don't believe everything you hear" is the only thing I can really say here.
5. Leaking Eleni's address was a hugely terrible thing to do. You should never leak someone's personal information online for any reason. I can't imagine Pat was in the right state of mind when he made this tweet, but he's still at fault.
6. I don't know. The second arrest has very sparse details for obvious reasons, and it would be wrong for me to assume anything.
7. Again, given the outcome of the third arrest, I have to assume innocence.
Overall, I really wish I knew more. Taking a side when you don't have important details is something that should be refrained from doing. And to an extent, I feel bad for every person mentioned in these stories.
I missed this channel was my childhood sad to see him do this, wish he could try and change.
