Hi & I’m glad I found you & your videos. I’ve been a seller for on and off for 20 years, and this was like a great refresher course because I see eBay has changed a few things. I’m used to doing things on my cell phone, and just recently started using my laptop again. I just wanted to say some thing about how you store your items. The way I was doing it, especially because when they asked the questions about shipping, I have no clue on how to figure it out, so I started packing everything up in their boxes, and put a number on it. Let’s say 101, I am putting it on paper to log it all together. So when the item gets sold, I just go to the shelf that I store the items on in numerical order, and then I’m just able to slap a label on it and send it. I found this works easier for me since at that time and say I don’t have to weigh it over again and box it up. I don’t know what the shipping cost is going to be for the people that purchased the items. Now I’m going to try to use an Excel spreadsheet to make my life even a little bit easier. Thanks again for your videos. Very helpful.
Ooo, and how do you put the same item on the different platforms all at once? I seen a video about it a while ago but I can’t remember who did it or where it went to. If you know I’d appreciate you letting me know. Thank you.
Thanks for the great video. I just started selling the other day and so far, I have had 2 sales which I am shipping out today. I offer free shipping, but I have factored my shipping cost into the price of my listings. I do not offer returns because I have been reading so many horror stories about returns lately. I am going to continue with this for my first months to see if my items continue to sell. I started on Postmark and Crosslisted to Ebay the other day. I just got my Amazon account approved as well. I greatly appreciate your videos they are definitely helping a newbie like me. Keep them coming, please.

No doubt at all that shipping is just about the biggest hurdle people face. I'm working on a new shipping video right now. Hopefully within the week it'll go up. I'm trying to work through every single aspect of the shipping process. A to Z...from creating a shipping policy to packaging.

I found that you started to go through some of your points really fast. Whoa! SLow down a bit for us new-bes... please.!
It's a genuine dilemma. If I move too slowly, no one watches the videos and eventually UA-cam doesn't show them any more. So, they don't help anyone. Move too fast and the video isn't helpful from the get go. But, part of what you might have experience with this video is that it is a little bit older. As the platform changes, some of the things won't look the same. I remade this video a few months ago and it looks more like the current platform. ua-cam.com/video/GqzA0Z8hdes/v-deo.html
This video has been very helpful in establishing and stocking my ebay store. I have been hesitant to step into the resale market, but your video has shown me that is it's as daunting as I thought. Thank you for taking the time to teach us.
Thank you. Very helpful, except the uploading of the photos as I've heard that is not easy from an iphone. Will check to see if you cover this elsewhere.
This is the 2nd video I have watched of yours. Thank you for doing these. I am sure if I look through your comments this is not the 1st one telling you how much this helped me. So much so I felt that I needed to say thank you! lol

I just get started on eBay I only 3 item listed , I just got one view but thanks for share this video with me I’m just gonna keep working and put God first.
Good walkthrough! The reason some folks (The Auction Professor) would uncheck the require immediate payment is because they have return buyers that will load up their purchases over multiple days before they buy everything in one shot (after payday). IDK anybody besides him who does it this way. He's got a unique business model.
Thank you so much for the information. I am just starting out today. It’s a little confusing but ill watch it a few times and get it. If I have any questions I will ask you when I get started. Again thank you!
I'll try and help if I can. Don't forget, it's OK if things don't go perfectly. Allow yourself the same kind of grace that you would someone else. You can do this!

Don't beat yourself up if you make a mistake or two along the way. Grant yourself the same level of grace you would someone else who was learning to do something. You deserve no less. Thank you SO much for the kind words. I genuinely appreciate them.
Thank you so much for this video. You really are so cheerful and encouraging. I’ve always felt daunted about selling an item on eBay (a dress), but I feel encouraged to do it and like it’s actually do-able thanks to you. Thank you! 🙏🏽 I think I’ve found the person who can help me on my eBay journey! 😃
I've held off on creating an ebay account one reason is I'm a bit nervous on how to go about doing it and second I keep telling myself sit down next week and just do it! Well, my next week started a year ago...still feeling like I won't be able to figure it out. I've subscribed to your channel now in hopes you will help me learn how to sell on eBay. I have a lot of collectibles too good for a garage sale.
Thank you so much! New subscriber here. I have been putting items on the side that I want to sell and I have just been waiting to get some knowledge. Well, thank you for the knowledge, now I can begin with some confidence. I have also watched your shipping video and I am sure I will go through the rest of your videos,😊 as I am just starting out. Once again thank you.😊
The best teacher is experience. Once you get started you'll have better questions. One piece of advice. Allow yourself the same grace and latitude you'd afford someone else who is just learning how to do something. It's ok to learn from mistakes.
Thank you for the video. I learned alot. Still a little confused about shipping policies - if I even need them but really want to know when to select flat rate vs. calculated shipping and how to set that up.
You choose how you want to ship each item. You don't need to write a complicated policy. When you list each item you just select how to handle that one item. Does that make sense?
Thank you Scott it gives me hope that I can do this..At age 70 now retired perhaps another business to start that will be fun.. I have a lot of painted ponies that are duplicates I want to sell.. Also do you ever go to yard sales or thrift stores buy things and resale.
You can absolutely do this! I don't move as fast as the 25 year olds who are killing it on eBay. But I'm consistent and persistent. I bet you will be, too. I LOVE going to garage sales and thrift stores to source inventory. Melody and I normally arrange our vacations around doing just that.
It isn't detailed in the video how I moved the pictures from the phone to the computer (the jump is at the 6:40mark) You have several options. The easiest for me is to attach my phone to the computer with a USB cable and copy the photos over from the phone to the computer. You could also save the listing you're working on as a draft and then open that draft on your phone. From there, you could upload the photos directly into the listing and finish the listing there...or save it and finish the listing on the computer. You could also upload the photos from your phone to something like Google Drive in order to access them from your computer. If none of that works for you and you'd rather complete the entire listing from your phone, I have a tutorial on listing from an Android (Samsung) phone through the eBay app. ua-cam.com/video/or2dYV1KDoQ/v-deo.html
The option to create listing on computer then upload photos from my phone, save listing & edit photos from my computer worked beautifully f/me. I especially love the background eraser function. It’s wonderful!
How about a video for the New Unified Listing Tool? Sellers really need help with it. The listing tool in your example was retired in December. New and returning Sellers are also now sent to the Quick Listing Tool and not the Classic/ Business Tool in your video. You do great job at explaining things though.
Hi just watched this video and I didn't think it was this simple . I have alot alot of art I have painted over a number of years and would love to sell .I love how simple it looks . How do you get the payments section up and running. I am a complete novis but would like to learn. Thank you. Ann
Once you sell something, ebay will walk you through that process. But it's no more complicated than entering banking information so you can receive deposits.

This video has been very helpful in establishing and stocking my ebay store. I have been hesitant to step into the resale market, but your video has shown me that is it's as daunting as I thought. Thank you for taking the time to teach us.
You just work it one step at a time. You've got this
Thank you. Very helpful, except the uploading of the photos as I've heard that is not easy from an iphone. Will check to see if you cover this elsewhere.
Thanks! I haven't covered it on an iphone. I have only used android. I'm afraid I wouldn't be much help with that. :-(
Do you have a video on opening (setting) up an EBay store for the first time?
ua-cam.com/video/v62Df7QtZuQ/v-deo.html See if this helps. 🙂
This is the 2nd video I have watched of yours. Thank you for doing these. I am sure if I look through your comments this is not the 1st one telling you how much this helped me. So much so I felt that I needed to say thank you! lol
Thank you very much. I am editing an update to this video right now. The platform has had some changes I really needed to include. Your feedback helps me so much. Thank you
I just get started on eBay I only 3 item listed , I just got one view but thanks for share this video with me I’m just gonna keep working and put God first.
You can do this!
Great info! I would add “big logo” or “graphic” to the listing. And I always end it with condition, such as “New”, “EUC”, etc. 🇨🇦
Great tips! I really appreciate you watching and taking the time to post some additional help. :-)
Thank you so much for explaining so well in this video.
Good walkthrough!
The reason some folks (The Auction Professor) would uncheck the require immediate payment is because they have return buyers that will load up their purchases over multiple days before they buy everything in one shot (after payday). IDK anybody besides him who does it this way. He's got a unique business model.
I can totally see that. I knew there had to be a reason that it made sense for some sellers. Thanks!
Love your teaching shows!! Thanks!!
You are so welcome!
I love your videos and they really have helped me and my sister launch our new business❤🎉
I'm so excited for you both!
Thank you for all of your useful information and your encouragement.
You are so welcome! I'm really hoping to do both of the things you've mentioned.
Very Well done....with appropriate detail included......!!! :)
Thank you very much!
GREAT T Shirt you had on for the video..Awesome...Bama Scott
Thank so much!
thanks for talk on how to put in your item
frank
I hope some of it is helpful. :-)
Very helpful. I appreciate you😃👍🏽
Excellent video presentation...
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much I really do appreciate what you’re doing I’m new to selling I’ve sold a few items and I have way under sold myself I even cried at one of them lol but thank you so much. I’m going to have my husband watch this I’m hoping he gets as excited as I do.
I hope to encourage people, so I truly appreciate this message
Awww, that’s wonderful! Thank you for your reply!
You can do this. It's OK to make a few mistakes as you learn. Just keep moving forward.
Before I continue watching, I love the Walking Dead shirt you’re wearing! And yes, I’m a bit distracted by Negan 🤭.
Lol
So helpful. Gonna list my very first item pretty soon. ❤ sadhu
I would like to buy one of your T Shirts since you did such a great job on how easy it is to sell on e-Bay.
This is the ebay store I created to teach from. See if you can find one here.

Thanks SO much for the kind words!
Thank you! I’m a new subscriber from NYC.
Awesome! Thank you!
Thank you very helpful...Thinking about starting ebay soon
You can do it!
This was unbelievably helpful thank you so much ❤
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for the help.....very good teacher.....
Great video my man. The only part of this whole process that kinda confuses me is the actual shipping part. I gotta watch that video next.
Shipping is understandably a big hurdle
Thank you! Still looking forward to a shipping video.
Upcoming SOON! I'm just waiting on a day that we ship a wide variety of stuff.
Thank you for doing this, I needed it
One of the goals of this channel is to provide as much hope as it does help. So, your comment is truly encouraging.
Great tutorial! Many thanks.
So thankful for your videos! ❤
How about a video for the New Unified Listing Tool? Sellers really need help with it. The listing tool in your example was retired in December. New and returning Sellers are also now sent to the Quick Listing Tool and not the Classic/ Business Tool in your video. You do great job at explaining things though.
Thanks! I have redone the video with the new platform. ua-cam.com/video/iGUlXwhKTaY/v-deo.html
Thank you for the kind words!
Liked & subscribed. Thank your for spending your time to share this video. Great video 👍🌹
Thank you so much!
I have really enjoyed the video, gave me a lot of helpful info.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you ❤❤
I just loooove your energy! 😍😃
Thank you so much. I'm enjoying learning how to make the videos.
Thanks f/your videos. I just listed on eBay. Searched to find them. don’t show up f/searches unless I put in exact title as listed. Hearing it’s eBay’s using antiquated system!
Sometimes it takes a while for it to show. But if you can find it searching the exact title, it'll start getting found. The key is to keep listing.
Thank you for this helpful video, the only thing I would like to know is: when the client bought your object how to prepare and send it to him
Thanks!
I'm not sure what you're asking. I show how I packaged the item for shipping. Are you asking something else and I'm just not understanding?
