perhaps although I think smokers often say many benefits to try to excuse their addiction, they can't admit to themselves they're addicted so explain it away with all sorts of reasons

I don't smoke, but the people smoke say that smoking can make u focus more to do your work more profassionaly, because inside the cigarette is a material called nicotine the thing controls your emosions and tell your mind when is the exact time to smoke, this material is also let your mind to work more than usual. I am against smoking and I don't want to smoke someday!
My whole family smokes we all live over 100 my parents cut back the amount they smoke they used to smoke 2 packs a day never had any issues, my grandpa has been smoking his entire life he has other health issues but nothing to do with smoking I’ve been smoking since 13 never had any problems more people are okay than people who get lung cancer but this could be the outcome of us all smoking while pregnant always being around second hand smoke our entire childhood to us smoking we’re just used to it
I started smoking rn because based on my observation, my grandpa who was smoking looked like a Greek god today and the people in my family telling me not to smoke are fat. I ain't got no problem with them being like that but I don't like how fat I am so I'm gonna smoke and replace drinking with smoking to see what happens.
