Here's some info about this movie; it had an incredibly weird shooting schedule, with quite unusually long lengths between shooting days because of how underfunded the movie was, this is why Joe Estevez and the other archeologist guy vanish from the movie, as they both decided not to bother coming back and why Yuri's hair keep changing throughout the movie, because actor Jorge Rivero was starring in various other movies (some of which featured his Werewolf co-stars). Rivero described working on this movie as such a horrible experience that he vowed to never work on a non-union production again.
42:08 Anti-fun fact: Crow’s comment about gasoline prices; $1.34 per U.S gallon for gasoline really *was* an outrageously high price in 1998 when this episode was made. 😡
More than some might realize: When a movie has a small crew, a normal artist will have their name only once or twice in a generalized credit ("production supervisor" or something vague), but if someone feels the need to list their name a dozen times, you know you're dealing with an egomaniac.
I love the ending, with Mike, Crow and Tom singing the medley of, at the time, modern and classic songs to the tune of the traditional Native American drums and singing!!!

What I love about this show is that a lot of the commentary goes over my head because I'm not that old/American but then some of the stuff just hit me by surprise and puts my sides into orbit because it's such a specific joke.
Don't worry, it's pretty much the same for Americans too, older or otherwise. I don't think ANYONE regardless of age, nationality, interests, background, etc has ever watched an episode and immediately understood even half of the references, jokes, etc. let alone all of them - they are just so wildly diverse and specific, including tons that are incredibly obscure or unusual, or require knowing some really odd piece of trivia, etc to get the joke but that's part of what makes it so great. The ones you do get are so random they're hysterical and whenever you eventually put together enough of the puzzle for a joke that went over your head to finally click, it's so satisfying.
It does take a good amount of American Pop Culture knowledge, watching an ungodly amount of popular and obscure movies, a basic level of US/World historical knowledge and a good amount of dark humor.
As someone who grew up in a town which did not have a stoplight, a gas station, hospital, office building or more than one grammar, middle and high school...I can confidently say this is not 'a small town'.
