I will NEVER forget it. In 2014 I was seeing a girl who wanted to marathon MST3K. Having grown up with Joel I had hesitated to watch "Mike episodes" but she insisted that there were some amazing ones. She showed me this one and when I heard the line in question I broke into uncontrollable, girlish, altogether embarrassing glee. I just laughed and laughed and laughed. I couldn't stop. This went for several minutes and I just could NOT get it together. She actually got mad, thinking that I was overdoing it out of charity for her Mike episode. I tried to explain, through tears and continued laughter interrupting every word, that no, I was caught off guard by what had been legitimately one of the funniest things I'd ever heard in my entire life.
Absolutely, it's leagues beyond what almost anyone could do at that age. It's a silly movie and I love goofing on it but there was some real talent here

I’m sure everyone did their best despite some missteps and characters but it is better made than a lot of MST3K films.
The lost episode has risen again from the quagmire. It's a sign of good, and the end of Satoris' power.
Well, well, well. I always thought all this return of MST was incomplete without this classic; glad it's here, and glad the filmmakers realized our affection for it.
Truly the spirit of Rowsdower made this possible. Along with (I assume) Larry Csonka lending his considerable influence.
Real happy to see this back up! I unironically like some parts of The Final Sacrifice. Perhaps I would have some trouble watching it without the guys from MST3K, but ideas for the plot are creative and Rowsdower is the goat.
this channel is an even bigger hero than rowsdower for this
I'm not shocked just surprised 🍻
Everyone, don your hockey hair and join me in the wondrous carol of the season to celebrate this miraculous occasion!
Rowsdower-Rowsder, Rowsy-dowsy-Rowsdower!
Bibbidy-Bobbidy, Bowsbower! Sibbidy-Sobbidy, Sob-sour!
Robbidy-Sobbidy-rowsy-drowser!
Saucy-dawsey-dows-dower
I am firmly convinced that Rowsdower is someone's love letter to their Dad. Also, how did they get Jim Henson to guest star as the hobo?
I didn't know how much I loved this ep, until it was unavailable online. At least it was a reason to crack open a VHS recording that hasn't seen light in a decade. Thanks MST3K (and not in that sarcastic "Thanks Obama" sort of way).
A truly magnificent episode of MST3K! Just so dang good from start to finish. It helps that the movie itself has this spirited heart that's easy to admire (while being so very riffable).
Have to add: Every MSTie community I've been around over the past few days has been expressing pure happiness and excitement over the fact this is now freely uploaded! It tells me just how strongly beloved this episode is.
Thank you so much MST3K for finally getting this back! So very much appreciated!
Lets thank Danny Elfman for writing this score. He had a great future ahead of him.
I do like the bit where the car goes over the verge and just careers to a halt. It's such a nice difference to seeing it turn into stock footage of a car bursting into flames
