Something to keep in mind with this current generation of Cadillac sedans (CT4/CT5) is that the starting price is about $10k below the last generation ATS and CTS...obv those cars were priced right in line with Audi, BMW, and Mercedes so the luxury aspect was on par. While I wish these new Caddies were still as luxurious I understand that they wanted to appeal to a wider market, younger buyers, and be more competitive on price so certain things had to be sacrificed.
That makes perfect sense and I definitely appreciate you shedding that light on something I didn’t mention! Thank you again for watching!
Great review! Exciting and energetic 🎉
Thank you for watching and giving a smaller UA-cam’er a chance!
Great honest review subbed.
Thank you Ala. I really appreciate giving a smaller channel a chance.
Interior lights come on too when u walk up to it with 2022
That is a pretty color.
I know, right?! It’s beautiful!
First like and watching here
I appreciate you sticking around!
LOL 13:02 literally me
Lmao! Glad I got the description right! 😂
Nice review. Just bought '22 CT4 Sport. Love this color they only had one on the lot and it was black. I enjoy driving it.
Interior isn't my favorite part but they did upgrade to digital speedometer
Congratulations on your new car dude and excellent choice! Also, thank you for checking out my video. I really appreciate it.
Good choice my dude! I am still driving my 2020 CT4 sport I got brand new just a month after the dealers starting getting them. I have baby on the way so I’m gonna have to get something a little bigger but always love these
Does that car have the ambient lighting in the doors and dash?
@@gromadelphia9667 my 2020 CT4 sport did in the doors, and also a small LED light near the sunroof controls that dimly lit the cup holders, also it had a little light under the center console where the wireless charging pad was :D
I’m gonna buy one used maybe CT’s or xts or ct4
Preowned is a great way to go!
My 2022 u can remote start without locking the car..it will lock on its on before remote starting
Well damn! I didn’t know that. I know that most of the GM vehicles have to be locked first then the remote start can kick in.
Hello cadillac ct 4 good car?
I need to know to. Im looking to purchase one but I need to know if they are reliable
They are a GREAT car! I’d highly recommend finding one on the 2nd hand market since they’ll be a little cheaper unless you have a dealer near you that’s offering great leasing deals. It’s a fairly common engine among many GM products so it’ll be reliable in that aspect.
The reason so many things are optional is so Cadillac can give you the lowest starting price possible.
I don’t like the V branding on the breaks either, but these are the same front breaks on the CT4-V, thus the V-branding. Also, in Cadillac sedans, unless you need it for traction, skip the AWD. It’s just the opposite of things like the CLA and A Class, the best version for sporty performance is the base drive system: RWD.
Cadillac’s engineers are stubbornly traditional. The RWD is the way to go, they don’t do anything special with the AWD. The V isn’t that much more than the Sport. Also, more standard features on the 2022 than the 2020, particularly if you get the Sport or the Premium Luxury. According to Autoblog, there’s not a big difference in driving dynamics of the premium luxury with the 2.7T and the V, unless you get the V and stick with RWD.
The V does give you 18-way seats, magnetic ride control (RWD only), the V-brakes are standard, the upgraded stereo, adaptive cruise control and such are standard. The premium luxury give you 12 way seats and leather seating standard as well as adaptive cruise control, it’s a bit of a performance bargain. The reason leather isn’t standard on the Sport and the V is, again to help you get into the V with the lowest starting price possible.
Also, a birdie tells me that if you want a Cadillac that’s not an Escalade to wait for the 2024 model year. The 2023 model year will be truncated and the 2024s come out in Spring or summer. Also, on current models if you get the V you will be able to get the sueded microfiber interior package that you get with the Blackwing except it won’t be on the door. However that package will be deleted if you get the Supercruise on the V.
Sheesh! You dropped a lot of knowledge on me! I greatly appreciate that! I LOVE the way The Lyriq looks!
Also, there is now a digital gauge cluster (which has had nice reviews) on the CT4 and CT5.
@@TheHungryRoad glad to be of assistance.
Get your facts right before you do this.. Ct4 237, V 325..i own so read up and prepare....😮
Thank you for the correction! I apologize if I made a mistake.
From an appearance standpoint, the CT4 exterior/interior is a downgrade from the previous ATS in many aspects.
I’d say I have to agree.
