So when this job came into my shop I looked at a few different videos to see how it goes back together considering my customer brought it to me all the way tore down and screws in bags lol. I;m back, you did a great job helping me last time, I may need to send my Phantom 3 standard to you. motors won't start manually and after using auto start, it was flying completely bizzare, up was down front was back and very fast irregular fast movement. Bob
This is a fantastic video for how it all goes together: with one problem he put the wire on in the wrong order. You need to start at the camera and work back to the gimbal base.
My drone had almost the same damage as the one in the video, and I was able to successfully replace the arm and ribbon cable. I can't try fly today due to rain, but the camera and gimbal seem to work fine when moving the drone by hand, so I think things are back to normal. Thanks a lot for the help.

hey i appreciate the video. one problem. I followed everything you said. I recplaced a ribbon cable on a phantom 3 standard. I got everything hooked up. I turned the power on and there is video feed but the gimbal is limp. It doesn't move at all on start up or anytime. There is video feed though. Any thoughts anyone? Thank you.
Broke My yaw arm and ribbon . Replaced step by step from this video . Camera works as should . But I motors are not working . Camera only sits still . Any advice would be appreciated .

The little red light blinks that is on the side of the logic board and what seems to be a green light on inside the camera itself but that is it.
Hi, Im trying to repair my dji 3 standard also but i have a problem with the flat grey cable that goes from the drone to the gimbal. The plastic connector where the cable hooks in has come of the gimbal so im trying to find a replacement but does anyone know how that piece is called or maybe has a part number?
I am having issue with my phantom standard, it said gimbal motor overload. But all is align. Can you help me what is the problem. Your help is so much appreciated.

HI. Thanks for the video. I followed u to replace the arm for the same reason :). But... I had to replace the roll arm and motor too. Arm and motor bought joined.. But now, the drone camera looks like crazy. Do u know why and how to fix this behavior? I've tried by IMU one time, but nothing.. and then the drone started also to lose the connection with the app, it works for few seconds. Now I can't try again IMU or other calibrations... What's happened? O.o I hope u can help me.. Thanks.
I have a Phantom 3 Advanced. I have replaced the Yaw arm, the roll arm and the flex cable. When I started the drone the camera is rocking all over the place. What have I done wrong???

after the crash every thing is okay? i mean movement gps hold or something,, i crash my phantom 3 standard .. shell is broken and the gimbal holder ,, im afraid if the rotor is broken to :(

Great video all the way until 24:47... the video skips over a very crucial part, the hardest part of wrapping the flex cable around the camera...

what does the black and grey wifi wires do for the gimbal...would it affect the telemtry on the app if not seated correctly

Man I just don't know how to loop the ribbon cable around the camera shaft at the end it just keeps getting twisted and caught
