Old video I understand, but you should try the JP muzzle brake. It does a great job of stopping muzzle rise and recoil. amazingly fast follow up shots.

Does this prove anything absolutely not. Fucking love you man lol. I have never shot a firearm with a brake until recently PRI mark 12 upper. Semi clone build. I did my first NFA trust waiting on that for the clone correct suppressor. Well I let my gf shoot it first before I did as I stood to the left the stock brake um lets just say I was not ready for that.

is the first rifle in the video a true dissapator with a rifle legnth gas system? I am working on one now with a rifle legnth gas system, 16" barrel , and fixed stock with rifle buffer and spring. Im concerned that the rifle will be under gassed and am having trouble picking he muzle device. would love to hear if surefire would mitigate this issue. Thanks!!

No, it is a mid-length gas system with a fixed FSB. It may be hard to get that shooting right for you. I'm not sure what the best solution is for you, sorry buddy.

I run Socom brakes on almost all of my guns.... and I have spent so much money on those brakes that I could have built another AR15. They're great brakes if you plan on getting one of their Socom cans though.... which I still have not.... some day though. I'm considering getting one of their Warcomp CTN's for my Mk18 inspired build though... if any of them are going to get shot indoors, it will be that one and I'm sure I'll appreciate running a flash hider as opposed to an abusively concussive brake.

I love the SOCOM brakes, but they can beat you up indoors. I need to pick up the Warcomp. I haven't had the chance to run it yet, though I've heard good things about it. Thanks for watching Brad!

Thanks man, painting is easier than you think though. It is pretty forgiving, and you can always throw another coat on.
