I'd really like to learn more about the performance differences in using a muzzle brake with a suppressor, as opposed to using a flash hider with a suppressor. Apparently using a muzzle brake acts as a sacrificial baffle and prolongs the life of the suppressor. However, if there's more flash signature when using a muzzle brake with a suppressor, then perhaps the benefit of it being a sacrificial baffle doesn't outweigh the benefit of flash mitigation and sound suppression (I heard that perhaps a muzzle brake is a bit louder when used with a suppressor). I haven't heard this discussed anywhere.. a nighttime test with the different muzzle devices, used with the RC2 suppressor would be extremely helpful as well!
For what it’s worth I’ve had really good luck with their devices, but carbon fowling can be a problem. If you run suppressed, I would definitely hit it with your favorite carbon cleaner and a brush every 300 rounds.
I am looking for a little input. I have the Socom 300 for my geiselle super duty 10.3 pistol. “Waiting for sbr to finalize” gun will always be ran suppressed. Any help out there would be greatly appreciated
No, the closed tine is way better and also increases the longevity of your suppressor. If you plan on running it unsuppressed a lot go with the open tine works very well. I love both but the closed works better with suppressor and seals around it better.
I am looking for reasons if I guess best choice to go with. I’m reading all different arguments as to which one is better. I’m running a 10.3 geiselle super duty and it will always be suppressed. Any thoughts guys if your still around in this comment section. ??

What kind of brush? I used this brass one and it was starting to take the finish off my warcomp
Didnt mention the 4 prong

Are the 3P and Brake better at prevent leaking out of the back of the supressor?
Is the brake or the 3 prong flash hider quieter at the shooter’s ear when running it with an RC-2 can?
