One of the best "EBAY selling" videos I have ever seen PERIOD!
You inspired me to go to Goodwill today and source jeans primarily. I walked out with 13 pairs for $1.99 each. I got lucky brand, Joes jean, BCBG and many more awesome ones. I normally source at the bins so this was like a luxury trip for me. Thanks for the advice

Lindy thank you! I fit a 40x34 pair of CARHART JEANS into a flat rate envelope. Didn't want to go, but tucked on one side then the other and pushed it down in the middle, repeat, until it was all tucked in. Gotta go slowly. You are a great source for us short funded resellers!
Shipping yes!! I have a goodwill outlet and my husband gave me a fish weighing scale is small and awesome to take with me to I can pull it out and hang the belt loop from pants and also jackets to see what the weight is and see if it is going to be worth it to ship. Just a little tip.

I find that men's jeans, especially in bigger sizes, 36 waist and above sell very well and they are not super picky about the brand.

what I just learned is that you get a.shipping discount for being a top rated seller. I use Endicia for shipping because I ship small items first class letter and I can't print that from ebay. love your informative videos.

I havent listed any jeans yet. Now, I have a basic idea. I will start with my own jeans that I used to wear when I was in my 20s (1990s). They are so old, I can tag them as "vintage". haha!

Do you do anything to the jeans before you ship them? Like steam them or wash them? What if you find something good with a small stain? Can you give more tips on that? Do you shop at the Salvation army? Sorry I'm new at this.

Great insightful video Lindey! When you come across items of used clothing that may have a perfume/cologne smell do you state that in your listings, wash the item, or leave as is because they are in fact used items?

Goodwill has increased their price a lot lately, they’re charging almost retail price for some brands! Outrageous!
Five Below here has "vintage" ask "used" jeans for $5 a pair, I could never compete with that!

I don't know if you buy those clear plastic bags but I dumpster dive at Katos and there trash is full of usable plastic bags that they take off the clothes they get in.

Oh my goodness yes! NWT is like GOLD! ... most of the time. Haha!
If they are NWT I try to price them around 20% below suggested retail price depending on the brand.

Three dollars?! Yeah, that's rare for a saleable pair of Levi's or AEO jeans where I live. Occasionally I find a good deal at the church bargain store, but most of the time I have to wait for a 50% off day at Goodwill and cough up five. And this is in a relatively poor, rural part of the Midwest. It's gotten to the point where fast fashion is often cheaper than thrifted items. Madness.

Wow, I need to move to a new area. My GW Stores sell jeans for $6.95 and rarely have on sale.
That's the way jeans are in a town about 30 min away from me. I don't buy jeans there mainly because they get cleared out before the 50% off tag colors get there!!
