500g of chocolate + 1 tbsp of vegetable oil
3/4 cup od condensed milk (200g)

Instead of vegetable oil use olive or avocado oil, much healthier and lower carb. I also use a home made condensed milk to ensure low carb. As for the nuts - pecans are lower in carbs then peanuts. These are very tasty and the kids love them.

I have made almost this exact recipe using roasted cashews instead of peanuts and rolling the finished balls in a little melted chocolate and then in toasted coconut moistened with a tiny bit of coconut milk if needed. Also I put a tiny marshmallow, or jelly bean, or candy corn or dried cherry or favorite candy in the center when forming the ball, appropriate to the season or holiday is fun! Great for the Easter Basket or Christmas Stocking. You can make the balls into any size turkeys using thin stick pretzels, thick icing, parchment paper tail, candies as candy corn, etc. Place the turkey on a dated Christmas Disc [to hang on your Christmas tree] and put the guest's name anchored under the disc' s edge. A way to remember the fellowship shared for any holiday. The candy balls can make so many things! A fun place card as you watch which child [or adult]will be the first not to resist the urge to taste. I will make both, your recipe and mine, for special occasions and we know every day is a special occasion, yes?
Thank you for sharing a very wonderful recipe that is so delicious, easy and very quick to make. Also freezes well especially if you line the candy balls like cookies on a baking pan in freezer uncovered and when frozen solid place in square container with parchment paper between layers... So lovely on hand when company calls. Defrosts at room temp within 30 minutes or less. Delightful with Fruit and Scones or just Tea, Coffee or Hot Chocolate with a small 6" or so peppermint stick to stir. I love your channel and watch from the USA. Blessings to you.
