It's unbelievable how many people go to the mosque. It looks huge and really peaceful. Love seeing your reactions to the food especially the rice. It looked delicious. Totally agree that's an awesome idea how the helipad is turned into a bar later. The view is awesome there.

That mosque does look really big. I guess you have to hit it at the right time of day if you wanted to go when no one else was there praying. You guys always find the best food. The coconut rice sounds really nice!

What a great city really enjoying your videos . What are these places called that your eating at as the food looks traditional fresh and silly prices , cheers. We like casual eating as the wife is not a big eater so traditional mixing with the locals is all about us and nothing to do with being tight lol

Them "Strings" is banging! We'll be honest and say at first we thought you'd gone all matching outfits on us 😂🤣What would have really made that heli-lounge, was a deck chair moment 😉. Have to mention it though...😊that moment where Corrine tried to drink the pulled tea through the spoon instead of the straw 😂 I can so relate, as I was always doing that with iced drinks and smoothies in Vietnam 🤣 (Leon x)

Teh Tarik , literally means "Tea(teh) Pulled(Tarik) is done in that manner is because (English Breakfast Tea)
1.To mix the condensed milk and tea together
2.To cool down the tea to a more acceptable temperature
3.To create that froth that makes its signature look =)

Depending on if you guys like crowds and how long you will be in Malaysia, you can visit Batu Caves. Thaipusam is on the 12th Jan. You can go watch the procession on Thaipusam, if you don't mind the crowd (super crowded, and hot in the day, go at night if you can) Or if you don't want the crowd, go at least 1 week before to avoid the sea of people.

Extremely jealous of you getting to take a power nap in the middle of the day. The only chance for a power nap is if both kids go down together which is rare these days. And loving those views from the Heli Lounge. The city really looked amazing at night from up there.

Most Malaysians (as well as Singaporeans) love Nasi Lemak....there are many stalls selling it including by the road side.....each competing to be the best (or unique)....each has their distinctive speciality. My favourite would be at Village Park (Damansara Uptown) where Prime Ministers and dignitaries frequent there as well.....you can google for that Restaurant and I can say you won't regret it....that shop is packed with people every single day (especially on Sundays)

@@JamesyboyExperiment yes, take the train to the suburbs such as Bangsar to get your pints. Or to the Bandar Utama station to one of the largest suburb mall (I am usually at the baseball batting cage when my wife shops). Or maybe go to some of the week day night markets in PJ. SS2 has a large night market on Monday nights with a big hawker center that's an institutional landmark.

I actually never tried vegetarian nasi lemak before. What did they put on top of the rice? Looks like something that they would replace the anchovies.
You always have to ask for less sweet drink. Unless you're buying from pasar malam where the put drinks on the big jar, that usually gone mild from the ice.
I don't know what tea they use. For me, my mom usually use our country's boh tea or the Lipton tea.

Teh tarik is mostly made from 4th grade (lowest grade) tea dust.
