Street food is the best 😍apart from the durian ice cream... although if I wanna try durian again I think I'd have to try the ice cream. To be fair I'd rather have a taste of root veg than durian 😂I miss milo 😭gotta say, the cheese corn would be a winner and I'm sure Han would love it!

That durian ice cream has me intrigued. I had durian when we were in Singapore. I tried to like it but I just couldn’t take to it. I love ice cream, so perhaps I could give it another go.

I read that Durian fruit's odor is best described as "pig-poop 🐷, turpentine and onions, garnished with a gym sock!!"
Now, if THAT doesn't whet the appetite and pique your curiosity, I don't know what will!!😀 I DEFINITELY WANNA try that ice cream🍦 ,especially since I LIKE stew and dumplings.
PS It all makes sense to me now, as I remember recently hearing about an Indonesian plane that was deboarded as it had durian in the cargo hold, and the passengers were complaining about the smell!!

Just noticed that I am commenting on this video exactly one year after you guys posted it. Nice video and that fried banana looks amazing. Sometimes, we eat it with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream and some brown sugar...it's definitely a recipe for diabetes but an occasional indulgence doesn't hurt.

I have been acquiring more of a taste for some great street food, and that looks so delicious! I feel like the durian ice cream (or anything durian-related) is one of those things which probably won't taste that good, but you also have to try at the same time. I would definitely want to try it just to see what I think of it. Great job!

Banana Fried a traditional malay food. Look like you guys enjoy all the food including durian ais creams 😊 Malaysian food taste sweet.

9:45 "tau fu fa" = soya bean curd.... basically extremely soft tofu (there's 1 ingredient that if you add more of into this concoction during preparation, the whole mixture firms up further and you get the usual tofu that you would recognize) usually drizzled with palm or white sugar syrup.... the pandan version is new to me... gotta try that one some time.
"gula melaka" (literally "gula" = "sugar" originated from the Malaysian state of "Melaka") is more accurately "palm sugar".

@@Watfordfc2030 Hi - don't apologise - we are happy to answer your questions. When in Europe we have a bolt on with o2 ( which now happens to be free). In the USA we had a bolt on for £5 per day. In South East Asia however we always get a SIM (for data only) - these are easy to get at Airports and the staff at the stand set them up for you - the cost around £8 for two weeks....hope this helps

Whilst in Penang you might like to look for 'pun-gnart' a sweet dish of poising raja, yams, sweet potatoes and beans cooked in creamy sweet coconut milk and fragrant pandas leaves. It's a dish that swing out and needs a revival... the modern version is called 'bobochacha' which is like a manufactured version of the original 'pun-gnart,' a dish found only in Penang. Pohpiah's a southern Chinese snack from Xiamen, Fujian and the original version of the fried spring rolls we get everywhere.
