I have taken berberine for three years. My husband also. We are in our late 50s. Neither of us on prescription meds and it has kept us off of them I believe. It healed my frozen shoulder. Once when I went off of it the frozen shoulder came back. When I went back on it ths frozen shoulder healed. I believe the frozen shoulder was due to glucose issues. I take 500 mg 1/2 hour before breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Both husband and I had comprehensive labs done and all good. Also we went on Consumer Labs to find tested product that passed their tests. We take Amazing Formulas brand. We do take couple weeks breaks once every few weeks and can tell a big difference. We feel much better on it.

I started taking berberine 2 months ago for high blood pressure. I recently noticed that the toenail fungus I have had on 3 toes is going away. The new nail coming up is normal nail on all 3 toes. I had no idea this would help fungal infections but it's a strong antifungal too.

It would be amazing if you listed side effects of pharmaceutical products I feel that would be appreciated more tbh and would help a lot more people. Because the first thing doctors push on the population is drugs not supplements or herbs healthy diet or clean drinking water? I feel that would educate your viewers immensely as people are suffering now from pharmaceuticals not supplements

They actually lie about this stuff. In the past I have repeatedly asked my doctor about side effects of medication and he was clear that there were none. Now I find out that it affects bone density and hormones badly. Thanks Pharma pimp. I take care of my own health now and stay away from toxic allopathic medicine and their gas lighting doctors.

I just retired and as I am 10 years older I should respond you are in your prime. We are designed to only get better. You have a wonderful smile. Please be serious when you correlate age with loss even of years lifespan because folks are getting the wrong message here. Every day I ask myself where have I been my whole life? Excellent presentation that I am slowly studying. At 10:00 you explain the bioavialability problem. I can tell you what the "biohacker" solutions to this are, although I never used them and now think they are misguided. One of them is to take piperine at the same time, or to mix it with an nontoxic organic solvent. However, you said that berberine can get into the cell, but is quickly identified and ejected by the cell. So using tricks to get more berberine into the cells isn't going to be a solution. Luckily, the toxicity is low and you can take enough of it to work, even at .5% efficiency.

Thamk you for doing this video as so many videos out there rave about berberine and to take high doses but they dont mention adverse effects. There is also a dihydroberberine being encouraged too and as it is more bioavailable I wonder what effects that has in contraindications? I wonder if it is ok to take if one has Crohns disease? I read it works on adipose tissue, I also have Dercums which has exercise and diet resistant weight gain, also hypercholesterolaemia and naturally low BP, so its a bit of a juggling act but if it isn't contraindicated for Crohns then I think this would help me?

I've been taking Berberine for 7 months (1500 mg capsules, one to three times daily as recommended on the bottle). I also take 50 mg daily of metoprolol beta blockers and 10 mg daily of Lipitor for cholesterol. My success is clear: A1C reduction from 5.8 to 5.3. Cholesterol was under control with Lipitor anyway. However my side effects of berberine are notable: bilirubin climbed from 0.9 to 1.5; abnormal ECG for heart block; palpitations and arrhythmia followed by 8 weeks of skipped beats (3 or 4 per minute all day leading to a 7 day remote monitoring patch awaiting evaluation by cardiology). I have stopped berberine a second time now and will not take it again while on beta blockers.

@@avarysse5782 Thanks and yes to answer your question. The bottle was very unclear as to what amounted as a serving. After rechecking, it says one serving is 1200 mg of berberine in two capsules (so 2 capsules once a day). So I was taking two to three capsules a day or 1200 mg on most days but 1800 mg on others. I went back on the berberine after a routine hernia surgery that went well thinking it was safe and worried about my borderline A1C. Well I went into AFIB once back on berberine and am now on Eliquis for life because of that two month period of Afib. I got cardio inverted out of it and have not had it since and have stopped Berberine altogether. It think its a safe supplement but it has serious side effects with a few medications like beta blockers which I take for a long EKG interval. I didnt know it at the time but Berberine enhances the effects of beta blockers. I wish I had know I was taking too much or risking a bad interaction otherwise I'd probably be fine right now. For most people I think it's safe though. Most websites say there is no recommended dosage but they do say most studies involve people safely taking up to 1500 mg a day and that it doesnt stay in your system very long.

Ok...based on these studies....if berberine amplifies the potency of some drugs, why cant it be mixed with these drugs, thus reducing the amount of active ingredient in these drugs to a fraction of current dosage, thus possibly reducing the side effects the active ingredient......it seems this berberine adresses almost all aspects of metobolic syndrome to some extent. Also I saw other studies that said bbr is not well absorbed but only a little bit is needed for desired effect. I also looked at some supplement companies selling it in thousands of mg, leaving the door open for overdoses which will possibly lwad to strict regulation, maybe done on purpose by these shady drug companies...

Easy to replace B vitamin with supplement, and always take CoQ10 when on any statin.
I guess my concern is that I don't want to thin the blood too much, because that is dangerous too. Also, K2D3 keeps calcium out of vessels.
Nattokinase is not a blood thinner, but is a Clot-buster.
Another doctor's podcast suggested that clearing the plaque liquifies it, which leads to a clot. He said in one podcast that it may be safer to leave it alone, in a stable state.
I just wish I had one clear recipe to follow. You certainly can't ask your doctor. They just follow what they're told, with regard to big pharm protocol. They are not into holistic medicine/alternatives, Ivermectin, etc., and don't even mention the spike vaccines.
