I LOVED Rocko's Modern Life as a kid. I started rewatching it recently and it's amazing just HOW MANY adult jokes were in it, that completely went over my head as a kid. This is how you do a show right: make it for kids but have adult jokes hidden. So audiences who watched it as a kid, enjoy it in a new light once they're adults.

Loved this show back in the day. Theres also a scene in an episode they cut I noticed when I was 10 or 11. I forget why but Rocko and Heifer had to go to this farm far away. Heifer slept in a barn and the farmer came in with a milk sucking pump for his cows. Not recognizing Heifer as NOT one of his female cows proceeds to slap the pump on him anyway. Heifer a moment later has this look of great relaxed pleasure on his face lol

Oh man, Saber, you and I are both 90's babies who grew up blissfully unaware of the many many MANY innuendos that were in Rocko's Modern Life. One of the ones I recall involved Rocko and his friends playing a board game where they had to hit a monkey on its bare butt with paddles, referencing the term, "spank the monkey". Chokey Chicken had to have a name change eventually to Chewy Chicken because of the reference, "choking your chicken".
