You guys have been such a wealth of advise for us!!! We bought our 2017 Basecamp last February. This is our first ever camper and between maintenance and upgrades it’s amazing how much time, effort and money you can manage to pore into them without even realizing it. Just last night we tallied it up. In seven months of ownership we did the lithium battery upgrade, added more solar to the roof, swapped out 12 gauge wire from the external Zamp plug for 10 gauge, added an inverter and transfer switch so that all the outlets work while boondocking, added 12 volt “cigarette lighter” outlets, USB C and additional USB A outlets, fixed a manufacturing problem that caused an old electrical short and replaced the water pump. We repainted the bathroom walls, recovered the cushions and replaced the black fabric hanging nets with off white fabric to match. We paid someone to add an EZ Bumper (to carry our bikes) and replace the old Dometic propane fridge with the Nova Kool all electric. As excited as I was to pick up our Basecamp last winter. I don’t think I’d even recognize it anymore. Lol. We did all of this plus take it out on nine trips covering ten states. One thing I can say for sure is that we just LOVE our Basecamp!
