I never thought I'd say this, but for me this is one of the best Zelda soundtracks. While Twilight Princess might rank higher due to personal preferences, this feels like the most solid of them all. Most importantly it *nails* the feeling of Zelda. Makes me wonder what a console game with this kinda soundtrack would be like.
hell yeah, it totally captures that zelda tone, and the song always fits the theme. Every loz fan I know or have met loves the Lorule Field theme, and the song that plays the first time you explore hyrule fields will always rest pleasantly in my mind. Truly one the best loz soundtracks, and in my opinion one of the best games
It's become my go-to holiday season listen

You should play all of them, but most importantly, play Links Awakening, Oracle of Ages/Season. Its spectacular.
I mean Zelda is pretty good but "Greatest and most legendary video game series ever made" is false in pretty much every regard. Whether it's the "Greatest" is pretty subjective and if you're talking "legendary" then that solely belongs to Mario who literally made gaming a thing again after the video game crash, and is the most recognizeable video game character of all time + franchise totally eclipses literally everything else ever published lol

King Cryo Morrowind for me is my personal favourite in the TES soundtracks. such soothing tunes in that game especially the exploration sections
Legends of Zelda does not only have the best sound track but it is the best series of games ever! And this link between worlds is my 2nd favorite legends of Zelda game my first is twilight princess for the wii

I love how the lorule castle theme changes as you progress through the dungeon, and even sneaks ganon's theme in there! Some good music/game design teamwork right there!
And in some parts if you play it backwards you can hear Hyrule castles theme just makes it even better

A Link To The Past had the greatest soundtrack in my opinion and it's awesome how A Link Between Worlds Brings those songs back just a bit more enhanced

Just finished this game yesterday. I was absolutely blown away by the music, dungeons, and just overall gameplay. Story was typical Zelda with some really nice plot twists in there. This is the first Zelda game I was able to beat all the dungeons in without a walkthrough atall. I did not expect to love this game as much as I did, but this is much more than a handheld Zelda title or remaster of ALTTP.

Dank is a real word that has existed long before internet memes.
IMO one of the greatest Nintendo games released in a long time. Nintendo and Miyamoto took their time with this game--and it showed with its quality gameplay, intuitive mechanics, and compelling storytelling.
This is my favorite zelda game. I mainly like this because of the soundtrack and the story. I have heard so many people rant about this game because its kind of a copy of LTTP (link to the past) but it seems fine to me, because there is so many zelda games and recycling ideas isn't bad. 😇
People rant about the LTTP thing, but there are enough differences to make me unable to explain them all to myself in the shower

This game is so sadly underrated. Most people think it's just a remake of Link To The Past, but it's more of a beautiful homage to it. Sure, it's very similar, but has a different story line that is well worth checking out. I love this game so much.

An amazing soundtrack for an amazing game. Felt like the first 'proper' Zelda title for years. I've finally purchased the CD off ebay (Club Nintendo UK criminally removed it from their rewards catalogue just as I had enough stars to get it!)

First time hearing this game's OST. And boy, was I missing out. Amazing soundtrack.
My god, hearing this soundtrack is like opening a whole box of memories that completely forgot I had. I bought this game for 3ds a couple days ago and once I heard "file select" my eyes lost it. Im not sure what game it was but I played a similar zelda game over 15 years ago on my gameboy advanced. This just brought alot of memories from that era.
So I tried playing this game some time ago and never really got into it. Then I bought OoT and Majora's Mask for the 3DS and really couldn't stand playing them on such a small screen. So I went out and got a 3DS XL and LOVED IT! I decided to give A Link Between Worlds another go and boy am I glad I did. That game was next to impossible for me to put down and I felt like a kid again. It captured the heart and soul of A Link to the Past and brought life back to the old style of play. I love every game in the Zelda series for what they are but this game really brought it back to the wonderful gameplay and story telling that life long Zelda fans have been craving. And the soundtrack is FANTASTIC! Now I can listen at work when I can't play :)

The flute and guitar/milkbar renditions of the themes have such a relaxing air about them. They're very calming to listen to and genuinely just get my thinking about how great life is. 10/10 I like to listen to this when I'm stressed it really lifts my mood. What an absolutely stellar game and soundtrack :^]
To anyone who has played this game:
If you want a REAL challenge, try playing Hero mode. But here's the catch. You can only have the basic THREE HEARTS! You are allowed to get item, armour, and weapon upgrades but NOT any heart pieces/containers. I just finished this challenge yesterday and got 45 deaths. If you do try this challenge, tell me your results!
I'm trying to beat the game on hero mode, without taking any heart pieces (only bosses heart containers), but without any upgrade (except the level 1 master sword).

I did my first three-heart challenge in any Zelda game on this game. Because I was feeling ambitious, I also did it using Hero Mode. I died 52 times but it was worth it. The Final Battle felt so much more epic.
Three-heart challenge + Hero Mode means basically one-hit kill. Only 52 deaths is impressive!

I think I'm going to die in hero mode 100+ times WITH all hearts. I mean, I died 20 times before reaching Lorule. Enemies deal 8 hearts of damage!
That's cool! I'm doing my 3-heart challenge in hero mode now, but to make things even harder for myself, I added some more restrictions. I'm not allowing myself to pick up any optional upgrades or items at all. I can only rent Ravio's items, and I'm only allowing myself to rent them when they are absolutely necessary to solve a puzzle, get into a dungeon, etc. Some unexpected difficulties have arisen for sure. For instance, you don't actually ever have to get a second item button, so I only have one. You also don't need a single item for several of the lorule dungeons aside from the lantern, so I'm playing entire dungeons with nothing but the lantern, which has been fun. You also never have to pick up a shield the entire game, so I haven't. You do have to get the Master Sword obviously, but you never have to upgrade it to the tempered or golden sword. I've been having fun, but I've died a whole lot more than 52 times already sadly.
They need to perfprm this whole soundtrack live in concert! It's just the most amazing soundtrack right next to The Last Of Us and Shadow of The Colossus!

Best Zelda game I've played since A Link to the Past over 2 decades ago. I grew up on the original top-down NES Zelda and always loved that style more than the 3D ones that started with Ocarina of Time. I didn't like how much linearity had crept it's way into the series after that point with such heavy-handed exposition. Just give me the open world and let me explore on my own to figure it out.
