I have no idea how people find all of these, some of the stuff you need to be so precise for...
TNT apples It starts with people finding a glitch then trying it in places where it could get them to other places. If you have 30-90 people all trying the same thing, even if it takes one person an hour to get it working, 30-90 people trying it could get it working in a fraction of that time. Zelda games are super popular so that 30-90 can become several thousand.

No, that comes much later since first the game must be decrypted and then it is several hundred files to read through. Some of these were found within a month or so of release, just none of the more technical ones.
If you like extreme precision in order to achieve a glitch, I recommend you check out Games Done Quick, an NPO focusing on speed runs and benefitting prevent cancer charity. The Zelda runs are amazing, specially by Cosmo Wright

There's another glitch you missed that I found myself:
With the nice bombs, head to the Tower of Hera, then reach the second floor. Stand right next to the bumper thing facing west and place a bomb. As the bomb is about to explode, Tornado rod. If you did it right, you should either skip to the third floor or unload the first floor. If the latter, jump down to an invisible first floor.

Double Ravio is a hell of a way to start the episode.
It certainly caught my interest.

I actually performed the glitch at 4:04 on my first playthrough because I thought that was what you were supposed to do. Even now, having beaten the game twice, I _still_ don't know how you're intended to do that part.

I got one extremely annoying glitch, in the dark dungeon/temple thingy. (Sorry this was a little while ago so I don't remember all the details perfectly.) I used the fire rod instead of bombs so I was able to take out some of the rusty wood things covering the Windows early. I somehow skipped the trigger for the cutscene later in the dungeon which didn't let me complete the game.... It was my last dungeon I chose to do too.... So much salt.
The first one won't work for me. It's like the bird knows what I'm trying and it just returns to its fence post. May try deleting the update.

I found my own glitch. If you use the Pegasus boots in some small corners (I forgot which) link won’t stop running and will run against them forever unless you stop it.
I did the one with the wallmaster and I found a TERRIBLE glitch!
After not letting go of the stick, I kept moving upwards!

Zachary Erickson Nintendo dont patch glitches like these. They have these type of glitches in most of the games in the zelda series. They even kept some of the glitches from oot for the gamecube N64 on the remake on the 3ds.

Firecloud20 Usually not. It depends on the glitch. Developers can only do so much with the time they have, especially in a game as big as aLBW. Yes, it was made with a team of around 200 people, but only a fraction of them were actually working on things like bounding boxes and physics. There's a lot of jobs that need taking care of that make sure the game works in general before they can start working on fixing exploits, which usually is done at the end of each development iteration. If these made it in, you can be sure that a huge amount of bugs that could have had even greater exploits were removed before it got into consumer hands. Almost every developer I've ever seen interviewed always says they're proud of their work, but also wishes they had more time to work on the game; surely the devs who worked on this gem of a game share that sentiment.
I think they already patched it. When I try the first one the bird just returns to its original position like it knows what I'm trying.

You know the boulder in Kakariko Village that prevents you from getting to a part of the cave with a heart piece in it? Well, if you jump off the edge closest to the barrier with a cucco, you can pull a 180 and get to the cave anyway!

i discovered that if you get damaged by a bomb in your house, you can buy the bow during your invincibility frames by walking a bit into the top ravio

That key thing in the house of gales is what I thought you were supposed to do on my first run of this game.
you can get the bow by walking into the left of ravio and tilting link slowly to the left until the speak button changes to the check button. Thats how i purchised they bow after renting it.

I only messed up the tornado rod part in the desert palace skip once lol, but it took forever to not go to far into the wall cus I would walk forward when I was in the wall and it just took forever but i finally got it THX SO MUCH Aurum!!! I remember it taking a while when I first beat the game now I only have to get the gauntlets from it. Thx again!!!!

In Ice Ruins, when you perform the glitch, you're falling on the upper half of the hexagon, but if you walk into the lower half, you will trigger the boss apparition.
Not sure if I said that in the video, but this is true.
3:56 you can just go on the stairs and hookshot the key, that's what I did on my first run because I didn't know you weren't supposed to do that :P
I was in wallmaster fight AND I GLITCHED OUT WITHOUT YOUR HELP in 2017!! I didn't do anything you did :p I managed to randomly clip through the wall to the next scene. This is THE SECOND TIME I clipped through a boss fight without any outside help, just random shit! A link between worlds is heavy with glitches :)
You can still be able to get the bow by using the Sand Rod next to the non-moving Ravio making the other Ravio move closer to Link pushing Link close enough to rent and or buy the bow.

2:17 actually you can get rid of the other ravio if you dont rent the bow and try to head to eastern palace...i think, its been awhile but i have managed to get rid of that other ravio
Oh.... dash cancelling is a glitch.. well that explains why some of the dungeons were so short.

I used some of these glitches, or at least the rent items early & Bomb Rod glitches, for my "New Game Plus," or Hero Mode.

As a person who runs ALBW, I'd like to say that Desert Palace Skip isn't that hard once you get it down. There's a much harder, but slightly quicker version called DDPS, (Desertless Desert Palace Skip) with a frame perfect bomb boost. Also, the Turtle Rock BK Skip, (Viskip) is absolutely insane with normal bombs. It wastes too much time to get upgraded bombs, so we have to do it that way. That's why my name for that split is Reset Rock. Other than that, great video!

I found a glitch where if you shoot the light bow right as you get hit by yuga-ganon in his last stage the camera will be tilted at an awkward angle.
I did the key thing with the tornado rod on my normal playthrough without even knowing that it wasnt the right way to do it
I don't even want to imagine how hard it would be to master all of these glitches for a speed run...
The Desert Palace is the hardest glitch?
May I remind you of the difficulty meter in the Wallmaster Skip?
The bar went off screen and the difficulty was a bunch of random symbols.
The wallmaster boss glitch happened to me accidently because i didnt know how to beat the boss and was dodging it with the tornado rod and then suddenly went to the painting. I was thinking "WHAT THE HECK JUST HAPPENED!" but then accepted fate.

the wallmaster boss one was one of the easiest glitches for me to pull off. honestly one of the easiest glitches was the hardest for me, cuz i failed it many times.
Found a weird thing I don't know is it a glitch but go to the Fortune teller in hyrule go to the right upmost rock and get on it's place and Face at the tent then dash to the place with the down right rope and when you hit it let go of L and boom! You're running forever but if you want you can easily get out by moving somewhere
3:57 I found an even FASTER way! just use the hookshot. go next to the stairs to the southwest of the key, look a it and then use the hookshot. BAM! you got the key.
15:40 you could also merge into a wall and walk away from the bomb it won't follow.
idk how this happened the way it did, but in my first playthrough I just so happened to use both the glitches shown in the house of gales. At the time I just thought that was the normal way of doing it

Now i WOULD grab some milk, BUT NO APPARENTLY THE ONLY THING TO DRINK IN HOUSE IS FREAKING WATER!!!
You know you could do another episode of this because there are a lot of more glitches in the game and another version of the dessert skip.
I can't even imagine the amount of experimentation it must take to find and successfully execute all of these glitches.
Also, this has so many glitches for a 3DS game, it's incredible. XD

I did the glitch at 4:05 without even knowing that it was a glitch. I just saw the key and I thought, "Can't I just use the Tornado Rod?"

There is one house in Kakariko Village, which is... kind of broken Dash into the gap between the house and the stone wall. You should keep dashing in the edge.

Hilariously, I actually did that House of Gale small key glitch because I thought that was how you were supposed to get it. I discovered later that I was supposed to go around. Oops?
i found an easier skip for the key in House of gales get the boomerang stand on the stairs and throw the boomerang til you get the key

The wallmaster boss glitch happened to me by accident. I thought I beat the boss and I wondered why I didn't get a heart container. I had to go all the way back to the boss to beat it again!
AurumDude I'm confused... you say tap the control pad NE (for the desert skip) but when you come up, you are facing SW. Did you mean SW or is it actually NE that you have to tap? (btw, alot of these glitches I am getting on my first try thanks to your help. i may attempt to speedrun this with more practice)

But what would happen if you got the lamp, unlocking the ability to use items and then left, so you won't fight Yuga and wake up, getting the bracelet, go to the first dungeon, beat it with only the bow and tornado rod and get sealed in the wall by Yuga. Would you just get stuck in the wall and never get out or what?
